Thibault hardly trailed from the den. Lately, however, and today of all days, he'd been wanting to far more. Ma was still safe, warm and snuggly-wuggly, but no more! Today, he was a MAN! He was a BIG boy! He stood before @Mireille, fur all in a puff and his toes teetering quickly in a stomp. "MAA!!"
"MA-MA!" he DEMANDED ma's attention! He was king, and she needed to fess up her soul to his calling now! How dare she not know what he wanted immediately!
Ma must learn. So, he tell her. LOUD!
"SO ME BE WIT' DE SUN, MA!"
Thibault had not yet figured out why he was behaving this way entirely. Just that he felt like being extra noisy, so he did it! He did it, he did it, he did it, he did it! He'd also not considered exploring on his own, or that perhaps that was even an option for him. Miette did it. He..had not wanted to leave Ma's belly since he came out, and probably was convinced he could shove himself back up in there.
With staring, beady eyes, innocent as could be that did not fit the angry voice he tried to portray, "WE GO?"
In the gentle jaws of his manman, he was lifted from the brush and warmth of a hollow, and into the warmth of light. His jaw clicked open, his eyes big and wide as his fur puffed to keep him warm! But the amazement dazzled within his gaze, and he could not maintain the gasp that rushed from his lips afterwards. Very little ago, he'd only seen such a thing with Val. He'd taken so small of it in.
And now, for the first time, where he could comprehend what he was seeing, with his guardian at his side, he saw the world. He didn't just see it, he saw it. He could feel it! His once cowered head stiffened up to a perk, and as his gaze tossed between manman and the world, he looked to her wondering if she saw it too!
"Manma'! You see?! Where be Sapeek, manma'!"
"HOME!"
For an inside voiced baby, he was shouting now. For all his little lungs could carry, he spoke with great might towards the world, tail high as he stood between his mama's front legs. He saw the world, their home, and it's beauty. Enchanted by the smell of sea salt- the springing birds and dancing grasses. Lullabies and warriors' tales roared.
A smile not on his lips, but in his words: in his mind.
It was he, his family. He understood now! Gasping, he looked up to his mama's jaw before looking back to the world. "We be gettin' more home?!" More! He wanted more of this! Not alone, no, but together. More home!
Too much! Too scary! He didn't know how to walk outside of her feet, when it came to the big open. So, he tried to shuffle between her feet as they walked again, but it would not take long for him to realize that he was not only getting too big, but that her legs were terrible barriers that kept trying to trip him. Evil maman legs!
So, he situated himself back to where she finally had them to begin with, side by side, in a high-stepped strut that took them forward. Of course, his attention was frequently up to her eyes. As far as he was concerned, he was walking fast...
But it was snail paced.
This would take a while.
"Mam- What buepeace! Me be needin' know all 'bout it! It blue meat?!" Blue.. Piece. Blue piece.
