Granite had a new, full set of tiny pirhanna-like teeth and felt the urge to test them.

He found a scrap of old animal skin outside the den, picked it up, and shook it with all his might!
Badger noticed his brother had found something and he was immediately interested in it as well. “W..at d..at?” he asked, putting the words together slowly as he was still learning to talk. He then sniffed the new object
It was not long before Granite’s sibling took notice of his new special treasure. The lightest-colored sibling drew near to investigate and posed the question: what had his brother found?

Even though Granite’s mouth was too full to speak, the boy made his answer perfectly clear. A small, but mighty, growl and crinkled nose said Mine!

No matter what it was or wasn’t – Granite did not want to share. He turned around and began to run away from Badger, his skinny white-tipped tail up in the air.
Badger wasn't about to let Granite get away with this. The mostly white-furred boy gave chase after his brother, running on chunky puppy legs that had yet to build much muscle. He tried to grab his brothers hindquarters, attempting to bring him down so he could steal whatever it was he had.
Raen came out to play as well.

She gasped, so hard that she yipped!

And... oooooo- whatever it was Brother had was... a good lookin' toy. She gave chase, too, barking happily.
They were after him! Raen too!

A tiny surge of adrenaline made Granite bunny-hop away as fast as he could, running in circles around the den site. Over a stump, under a root, through the grass! He peeked over his shoulder, but his siblings were not deterred.

Then, Granite felt a mouth around his leg and he was pulled to the ground.

Oof!

Quickly, he set his jaw and covered the skin with his paws. They would not get it so easily!
Badger went right for his brothers face when his 'attack' worked. He tried to use his nose to move Granite's paws away from his face to be able to snatch the skin he was holding
Gonna keep this moving since we haven’t heard from Raen in a while~

The harder Badger pushed, the more Granite resisted. The young boy squeezed his eyes shut and held onto his prize with all his might even as his greedy brother rooted!

“No!!” Granite managed to squeak as Badger began to pry his white paws away from the skin.

Then, in a fit of anger, Granite snapped at Badger’s nose with his pointed little milk teeth, lips curled in a diminutive snarl.
Oh it was ON! When that snap came Badger abandoned his pursuit on the thing Granite had and instead snapped at his brothers face as well. He dropped into a funny looking 'battle stance' and growled with a snarl on his face. He began to hop back and forth in a fit of angry excitement, daring his brother to come at him.
Granite’s gator snap did not drive Badger away. In fact, it emboldened him!

Maybe a smarter boy would have taken the opportunity to escape with the treasure, but Granite became incensed by Badger’s overconfident ego. He fell for the trap and lept at Badger, sloppily swinging a paw in an attempt to clobber his brother.

“I hate you!!” his high-pitched voice screamed dramatically.

Ahhh, classic brotherly love.
Badgers face collided with Granites slap but it wasn’t painful. He yapped defiantly. Then he followed up his brothers move and threw a paw of his own at his brothers face
Granite felt his paw make contact, which he hadn’t really expected it to. Violence ran through his brain like a spiderweb and new neural pathways were created.

His heart felt like it was going to burst. The boy flinched. Then, it felt like time became slow as his brother wound up his arm to retaliate.

SLAP!
Badger, though young, had aimed true and walloped Granite square in the nose. A shock of pain made him yelp as he was knocked backward. He cupped his muzzle and curled into a tight ball like a pillbug. Then, it began to bleed.
oh no! he’d hurt his brother! Badger started to whimper too because he was upset and he licked granites nose and tried to make him feel better
Last from me! Thanks for the fun thread!

When Badger tried to lick his nose, Granite flinched and shied away.

“No! Don't touch me!” he yelled, muffled as blood clogged his nostrils. Granite held his nose with both paws, green eyes filled with scorn.

Then, he quickly got to his feet and ran away, leaving the skin, all but forgotten, behind.
Badger whimpered again. "Broder- I sowwy!" He said, and also forgetting about the skin, scampered after Granite.
