When the one you love is near!
For this is the night, and the heavens are right
On this lovely bella notte.” Lady and the Tramp

Days After her evening with Slavuj, she made her way inland from the sequoia coast, to the Great Bear Wilderness. The weather was growing hotter by the day, and as such causing her to become more…. Frumpy. This, combined with a lack of a consistent food source lead to thinning. On her travels, she tried to track down water bodies, taking breaks when she could to cool down and stay hydrated.

When darkness fell, as the air cooled, she came upon these vast rolling hills, brimming with green grass. And when the moon shone down on this particular night, she stopped to look around at the now silvery land of which she was swept up in. It was like a dream, where the world was nothing short of perfect. She laid down, giving in to the weariness that washed over her.
With the birth of her three siblings, Thyra had begun to busy herself both with hunting, but also with branching out from the Keep, in search of potential recruits. She knew that Greyfalcon searched also, and while the small pack was quite close-knit and functional, she worried that when winter came, it might prove to be more difficult then what they could handle. The children were born mere weeks ago- and would still be puppyish when the flowers bloomed again in the Spring. Late children were a blessing- but they would find winter a challenge.

She adventured further inland, with the hopes of finding some wolves wandering closer to the mountain range. Her own home was set in craggy cliffs, anyway- so wolves who were drawn to the range would likely be a good fit. She hummed to herself quietly, a mere whisper of a folk tune that had been passed down for generations, though her voice trailed off when she caught the scent of another wolf in the area.

In the moonlight, the field was silver, and the swaying grasses made it look almost like the surface of a lake. She could not see the wolf who had chosen to lay in the grasses all the way across the Terrace, but she could smell her nearby. The wind rose and with it, her spirits, like an answered prayer.

In the moonlight, she danced and twirled, following the breeze as it guided her along.
In her restful state, she had nothing on her mind but the present moment. She began to roll around in the grass, the cool dew dampening her pelt.

She then rolled over and sat up, but her eyes had caught something; A dark figure dancing through the fields. She remained still in her sitting position, her hackles raising ever so slightly. “Hello?” Raindrop called out, “Who are you?” She hoped this wolf was friendly, as in her current physical state, she wasn’t apt to fighting.
