guess who's back but with another character!
excuse my lack of consistency, I'm still getting used to rp-ing again <3
all welcome.

A light breeze brushed through her sand-painted fur as the lady strolled along the shore. The water was still and quiet, occasional leaves falling disturbing it's peace. Her pelt glowed under the morning rays of the sun as her dark purple eyes studied the surrounding canopy. She was in an unfamiliar place, so far from home.

Hemera's mind drifted towards her family, her pack and most notably her sister. Malena was a rebel, a troublemaker, a spoiled uneducated brat that caused trouble wherever she went. As she was the first born, Hemera lived in the shadow of her sister, even if she was so much better than her, more capable. A few years passed since they last saw each other, years that changed both of them, for better or worse. After the fallout of her old family, she fled and stumbled upon the Teekon, a land she was unsure of.

Dark gaze stared towards the dense canopy, expecting a sudden presence to disturb her moment of peace, and it came in the form of a bird. Hemera moved her gaze forward and continued her stroll, the area soon lit up with life, while her eyes remained empty.
I love gong li in that movie!

An enemy had once lived here, some time ago. An enemy which Akashingo swiftly rid themselves of and since then, the lands had become far more quiet, open, free

Naberius left the red rock towers of home and out into the open plains and then we came upon the Otter Creek, he followed it until he was here once again. None of the former leader's minions having returned, whether to reunite with their once Alpha or to pick up the pieces without him- good.

With nothing of note to report, the sand snake instead decided to walk the sanded shores of the great lake in simple stroll. Eventually in the distance, he spotted another. Small, thin and colored in ways which were pleasing to Naberius eyes- sand, rosy cream and dusky maroon.

He does not call out to her. Not yet. Instead, he allows himself to trail her with a springy gait, a roguish smile on his features as he eyes her.
yes! she's definitely my favorite actress <3 love how she portrayed hatsumomo!

The woman's body moved, but her mind was stagnant on one simple thought: her family. So much happened in a single month. The so-called fallout of her family was known as The Fall, an event that changed the course of her life forever. And yet, only her parents died, perhaps other members of Evenfall would roam this land and eventually meet.

Her tail wagged slightly as she walked, swaying her hips along the shore glancing from time to time to the crystalline water that glowed under the sunlight. The divine light of the Heavens; a blessing from above. The light of the sun was sacred in Evenfall, and for a few moments she stood still, letting the rays lay on her slim body, rising her snout and breathing in and exhaling.

Not long after, she noticed she was followed, as her dark gaze happened to lay on a masked male along her trail. She rose an eyebrow, ignoring him for a while, before exhaling once more.
"Ze sun is lovely today," her voice was sweet like honey, but her accent gave her away for being a foreigner. The woman laid gracefully on a rock, keeping her distance and crossing her front paws. "Don't you think?" Hemera continued, quieter this time.
She was simply strolling. Enjoying the moment, enjoying the sun as he watched her tip up her head and drink in it's rays of light. He smiles to this, for sun and sand is what Naberius cherished, what he had been born to and where he would die.

She decides then to settle then on a rock, basking as a reptile might. His dark face lifts to her thickly accented voice, sunburst eyes meeting her dark ones, so dark they nearly looked black from this angle and distance.

Every day, I think. After all, he was from the land of Sun and Sand. It was only his nature. They say for his people, the sun brought them to life and sand ran through their veins. Not entirely true, but was poetic either way.

Your accent- I've not heard it before. She was indeed a foreigner, but weren't they all at some point or another, lest they were born here? Where is it you come from, lady of the lake?
Plum gaze settled on the reddish brute, her right eyebrow rising slightly. His affirmation caught her interest, some may take her ‘praising’ as small talk, but he was different. A fellow sun-blessed individual, so far away from home. Was it true? Did he really mean his words, or was he bluffing and took it as small talk? She couldn’t be sure. Her mind was running miles as her face and body remained still, eyes blinking every few seconds giving her away. “Indeed,” her eyes lingered on him for a while, “Every day is a blessing under ze sun,” cream tail twitching slightly.

Hemera’s accent was a norm in Evenfall, so when he mentioned it, she somehow felt embarrassed;
“Far away south,” she muttered accentuating south, distant tone could easily be noticed and interpreted as a ‘don’t ask any more questions about that’. She rarely if ever showed any emotions, even when she did, they were always shown with purpose.

“And you, masked volf? Where do you hail from?” the woman tone changed, softer than before.
A 'hmmmm' passes over his lips at her first string of words. His dark masked face lifting to the sky and his eyes closing as he did so, breathing deeply. The sun god was not an easy God. Not an extremely kind one and tested all those under his light. Yet he was mighty and could bring death as much as it could life. Naberius only followed the mighty

She quips about the south, causing him to turn back to her. She does not speak more on it and so he nods and moves the conversation away from her and onto him... which was perfectly fine by him. Home for me is south as well. South as always, I suppose. Akashingo, at the time, though our people are on travel as we prepare a summer palace for our Queen. Before, it was the Land of Sun and Sand, which I was born.

He does not speak titles. None like Lord and Prince. Not now. If her past was a bitter one, if her home a sore subject, if she were alone, flaunting such things would not win her favor and Naberius was a type of man always wanting a woman's favor.
