The sun's first light flickered through the pass. The claim of the wolves was evident, but Meridian payed no mind. Admiring the sunrise. She was an envoy of the light. Wherever the sun gazed, she would go.

A hummingbird bird caught her attention. Delicate wings fluttering. Luminescent feathers reflecting vibrant color. She watched it as is buzzed from flower to flower, eventually disappearing into the morning sky.
tuna had come to find where the light touched the earth, wondering what gifts may be collected from these lowlands whilst the queen settles into her new palace. the movement has put strain onto everyone, and perhaps the princes and sphinxes grow restless with the lack of answer toula has put forth about the next pharaoh to join her.

what tuna had found herself doing was actually collecting a bouquet of wildflowers that are coming into their last blooms before growing dormant. careful teeth have come to pick away the dying leaves to create a colorful display of golden rays in flower petals.

though, as tuna looks for something to tie the bundle with, she comes to see a stranger in the distance. squinting a bit, the fellahin does not recognize the scent and soon comes to investigate, flowers still in her clutch.

a few steps further, by now she can see the stranger and decides to offer what could only be deciphered as a mangled yodel, strained with her full mouth. it sends off a polite question of identity and intent as the loyal tuna remains cemented at her post, ready to run and sound the alarm if something hits the fan.
