tamar is visiting! aw but esp for @Meadow, @Reyson, and babies! <3

steps light, a gift in her jaws.

tamar traveled quietly to the place where her close friends had made their den. she did not approach the threshold without announcing herself, and only just so.

a young rabbit, laid against the ground. she crooned a note, ears lifting forward.
Broad shoulders scarred face pushed from the innards of the den. Rhonen at hia feet and them behind his leg, blue eyes peeking out.

Hello Lady Tamar.

A small smile to first his leader and then the boy at his feet a move in case anyone else wished to pop out.
"hello, reyson."

a grin wreathed her jaws. "how are they? how are you, and meadow?"

the birth was one for which she had been present. but now the little ones grew, and soon, would expand their explorations into the vale. tamar wished to be familiar to them before this.
He dipped scarred muzzle again.

Healthy and happy. Meadoe is tired and worn down, but she seems in good spirits regardless.

Reyson was glad that their leaders were interested in their children. It meshed well.
"you will tell me if she becomes ill?"

tamar's voice was low with worry. she knew the first weeks could also be the most dangerous.

but now she smiled quietly toward reyson and with a great affection, to call him — brother, almost. "she has you. she will be well."
Reyson enjoyed the family Meadow had made here. He didn't know if he would call them such himself, yet. But perhaps someday soon. There was still some unresolved things there, but he had worked through them. Now it was just pushing over that final hump of hurt. But he could and he would. He always did.

He nodded his head. I promise you I will. I will make sure that you are aware if she should become ill. But she is healthy. Tired more than anything.

He tilted an ear forward. I will do my best to keep her healthy and happy, Lady Tamar. But your affections for her will do more than I can in this time. I have found that all i can do will help, but woman's friendship makes it further.
she sighed gently.

it is true.

"thank you, reyson. i will see her soon."

tamar found herself restless, more often than not.
Reyson was a tool, a blunt instrument that had been given a job and had excelled at it. That was not to say that he hadn't had more going on behind the surface, but he had hid it well. And this was one of those times. He had not helped the woman of his former pack, bu the had seen well how they had helped each other. And he knew it to be true.

Are you okay? Lady Tamar?

There was an air of restlessness or nervousness to the she wolf. She had been through much in her short time in the vale, much that he had also had a paw in.
"i think so, reyson."

"well."

a pause.

"i think, now, that i would like to travel."
Ear went forward and he frowned in thought.

You can't travel alone. It's dangerous? Will Arsenio go with will you need me or meadow?

Thr thought of thr genteel leader moving about unguarded and meadow too. No he didn't like it.
"i can travel alone."

her eyes thanked him for his worry. her eyes asked him to understand her strength.

"i have been alone very little in my life. i think now, i want this. to be alone, if only for short moments."
If anyone could understand this sentiment it was him. A wolf raised with others. Taught to fight and bleed and die for others. Solitary was often sought after silence too. But that didn't make it easy.

He frowned, but blew out a breath and nodded. Very well.
"thank you, reyson."

her smile was genuine.

"you rest, with your little ones. i will come back." a touch to his shoulder, and then she turned to depart, warmer for their interlude.
