You got it!! she promised. I'll save up my best scaring for you—you'll never see it coming!

While Eshe thought of how she could scare Arric, he did the work and caught an impressive-looking fish. Wow! she exclaimed as she was pulled from her thoughts, Bravo! That was really impressive! She glanced at the growing pile of prey on the shore and licked her lips; the fish looked delicious.

Think you got it in you to catch some more? I'll actually watch out for the fish this time, she laughed, unable to resist the jab at herself.
He shook his head with a laugh.See that you do.

She was hungry he could tell. A couple more and he thought theyd be alright.

He nodded. Sure can. You waych and I'll grab.

A small smile but he looked her over again. Maybe just one more just as cold is good for you only for a short time.
Eshe agreed—it was cold, and the creek couldn’t afford either to get sick. Before she could say anything, a shadow caught her attention, and she slowly turned to the right and jutted her nose towards it.

There!! she whispered, wide-eyed and excited.
He leapt forward and made quick work of that one too. A toss and nlue eyes dancing he nodded.

Alright princess time to hop on out of the cold water. Akavir kick my ass or try at least, if you get sick and its my fault.
Fine, fine, Eshe agreed with an exaggerated and playful huff. She couldn't see Akavir doing that for her—because why would he?—but the thought brought a delighted warmth to her heart. Part of her wanted to see it happen, but she'd never admit that. Her expression remained neutral as she pushed herself onto all fours and slowly made her way onshore.

Standing on solid ground, she turned to Arric with a smile. Well, this was fun, she said. Do you want me to help you bring the stash to a cache? Or are you good? she asked.
Arric didn't share that he wasn't certain Akavir could beat him, oh the man man would try, but he would probably not win. But perhaps. He had something to fight for now.

I got it, make sure you take one to eat thought. He nosed around until he found one of the bigger ones and pressed it towards her. The other's he'd get in a cache near the two young ones that still remained. Solaria and Cygnet and then he'd go do another border patrol maybe.
Although Eshe felt guilty for taking the larger of the fish, she did not protest Arric's request. She took it graciously; it'd be a lovely dinner for her and @Akavir later that evening.

Alright, well, thank you again. I'll see you around, and from there, she went and spent the rest of the day with the pack's Alpha.
