@Elwood
and @Fox As promised. :)

Ashton had no troubles digging. The little golden hippie had an apparent knack for digging.
And getting filthy.
But that was easily fixable.
Back to business. The digging, yes, it was the best. Just knowing you were doing stuff, making room, your room, so much space, nooks, crannies, shelves, pantries...
it was perfection.

After the affirmation of his location to his Amber Alphess and the Greased Lightning mister Elwood, Ash knew he had some digging to do.
The very digging he was doing.
After barging straight the fine entrance, the sandy teen took to going down the spiral descent into his basement, the path wide and astonishingly roomy for a perceivably small and comfy den.
He traveled past dug out rooms, the spacious compartments that held small beds of collected dried sweet grass, soft cotton, and pleasant little lavender shrubs layed amongst the floors of each room, every one seeming to be a private den within a den. Those were his soon-to-be infirmaries, and he wanted to be sure if he got the healer trade, that he would be a well respected Doc.
After all, what the hell kinda doctor are ya, if your patients arent comfy and fellin' good in their own rooms?

The walls of the deep cavernous home were alit with wide leaves of firefly glows, him taking the time of trapping the little glowing buggers with honey and dew slathered banana leaves, then watching hundreds get stuck, only to be smashed underneath his paws, and made into fire fly night light lantern thingies.
His cave could never get dark. Such a soft and comfortable glow, so natural and sweet.

Traveling in the far back, the hippie added a few more trinkets and trivels to his collection of medicines. Cattails, a few more thick leaves, and masses upon masses of cobweb he had scounged up from spelunking with the Alpha.
God, all those spiders went homeless, that day.
Poor spiders.
Fox skulked—as was her typical way of traveling from place to place—through the caldera, intent on finding an appropriate gift for the two wolves who had helped her to chase off the hellcat. While Fox was more of a fighter and less of a hunter, that did not mean that she could not do the job. It just wasn't her finest skill. Her strengths lay in protecting her home at whatever cost. Oh, and (half-)remembering the large events that took place during her lifetime. That one, her being a chronicler, wasn't terribly useful, but she did like boasting about the many times she had defended her home, been a leader, and so on. It would make for good stories to tell her future children.

She was currently in the process of tracking down a rabbit (or two), when an unexpected scent piqued her interest and she began to follow that one instead. She couldn't quite remember what the smell was, only that it reminded her of a full belly and good, warm feelings. It took her the better part of an hour to follow the trail to its owner, and she soon found herself observing a pika from afar. It was collecting food for the winter, without a doubt, and Fox licked her lips. Where there was one, there were usually several of the tasty, tailless creatures. She waited for the right moment, and with a pounce and crunch, she managed to catch one. Another pika, hearing the commotion, tried to run for its life, but Fox was too quick for it, ending its life with little more than a snap of her jaws. Satisfied, she began to make her way to where she'd last crossed Ashton's scent.

It took her longer to track him down than she would have liked, and the two pikas were practically frozen by the time she found the odd medicine man. She stood outside what must have been Ash's den (for it smelled an awful lot like him), and woofed to announce her presence. The two pikas were at her feet as she waited for him to answer. Fox wasn't quite sure if he was here or not, but she would find out soon enough.
◆I still have no idea if El is comming, but if you read this El, jump in whenever you want to! :D◆

Rummaging in his stast of excess pistachios, he hear the thumping of footsteps above him, a thud, and a woof.
A visitor? Ouuuuuuuu, he was becoming known to the fam, woot.

Gingerly, he placed the leaf holding the unripened nut back in their drying station, and promptly padded his way back upstairs. Ears surveillance system was a go, and ..

oh, it was Flamin Femme Fatal, miss Fox.
Sweet, the Alpha babe, herself.

Stepping outside, the blond teen greeted her with the responsibility of respect and his usual jovial attitude.
He still hadn't realized he was filthy from the digging.

"Sup there, Fox? Bringin' gifts for little ol' meh?"
Elwood, too, was searching for Ashton, though he was empty-handed. His attempts to clean the wounds on his hip hadn't gone well; it was just a difficult place for him to reach, and though he had managed to do a basic job with his tongue, he was worried that infection would set in if he didn't seek further medical attention. So he followed his nose until it led him to Ashton.

He wasn't the medic's only caller, he discovered as he arrived. Fox, too, was present, along with two dead pikas. Elwood drew up alongside the Alpha, smiling sheepishly at Ashton. "Is the doctor's office open today?" he asked, peering past the blonde male and into the depths of what looked like a particularly elaborate burrow.
Ashton soon exited his little den (or so it looked to be from here), and Fox nudged the pika toward him. She was about to answer his question when Elwood walked up to them, making the delivery of her second gift much easier. “One for each of you,” she said, nudging the second pika to Elwood, “for helping me with that cougar the other day.” Their efforts were sincerely appreciated, and she wanted each of them to know the extent of her gratitude. Both would be more respected in the pack due to their actions, of course. And even though the hellcat had managed to slice off a piece of her face, Fox might not have been alive right now if it hadn't been for the both of them.
"Thank ya, beautiful. Food's always a chill thing to have. ", he gratefully accepted the gift, his words enthusiastic. Taking it, the soft little bundle of fur, he placed the scrumdidiliuptious meal behind his den entrance. He knew he didn't have an appetite infront of friends at the current moment, and decided that scarfing the adorable miniscule rodent down like a savage would probably be best for a solitary audience.

Turning to the agouti, the hippie exclaimed happily to his fellow Hawk,

"Of course the doc's office is open! While breath stays in meh lungs, and a heart beats in meh chest, there's gonna be a pharmacy goin on with this den, right here."

A comical nod affirmed the sentence, and kind orbs looked upon both lupines.
First with the Alphess , he remarked,

"That scab of yours is gonna leave a hardcore scar, Fox. If you want, I got a lotion mixture that'll melt the scab away, and give the skin cells an improvement of blending the scar tissue with the undamaged tissue, and it'll replace fur on that pretty and fiesty muzzle of yours. Even so, the lotion tastes like shit, but lucky for ya, I just collected some spearmint today, fresh from the north west tundra, so it'll give you a good minty and refreshing taste. Not only that, the stuff drys on in a matter of an hour, so no need to worry about accidentally smearin it all over ya face if you decide to sleep."

Then, Ashton took a walk around of Elwood, taking in the time damage done to his hind leg.
Within seconds, he had a report.

"Well, El, your leg might need a smidge more work done, and from the look of excess white blood cells clouding the wound, seems as though you got a touch of infantile infection in there. No arteries were chopped by that mean ol' puss that day, or else you coulda bled a hellovalot more than what you had. Ya got luck on your side, dude. I got quite a nice batch of milkweed left over from the summer, and a bowl of seawater. Its gonna take a bit of antiseptics to get it together, butI gotcha, if ya want the op done, bro."

A light shoulder bump was offered to the male comrade, and Ash took his stance back infront of the den entrance, looking between the two packmates of the Caldera.
Elwood was pleasantly surprised when Fox indicated that one of the pikas was for him, as a thank you gift for helping her out. He hadn't expected a reward, but appreciated her thoughtfulness. The Delta was simply happy that he had been in the right place at the right time. Bobbing his head, he used one forepaw to pull the pika closer to him, taking a moment to study the funny-looking creature. "Thanks, Fox," he said with a smile.

He then returned his attention to Ashton, who was first assessing the fiery female's facial wound. The medic spoke of skin cells and scar tissue, which made Elwood wince just a bit, but it sounded as though he had a lotion that would help heal Fox's face. Once he had addressed his first patient, he meandered around his second, checking out Elwood's damaged hind leg. The pewter male couldn't help but gulp worriedly as Ashton mentioned and infantile infection, but it sounded as though it wouldn't be difficult to treat.

"Yeah, if you don't mind, I think I'd like to go ahead and have you do that," he said, knowing that if he was left to his own devices, the wound wouldn't get the care that it needed.
Even though Fox was on good terms with Ashton, she wasn't willing to let him go around slathering whatever on her face or feeding her who knows what. "Thanks," Fox replied, "but no thanks." If other wolves wanted to have him practice his voodoo on them, she was fine with that. And she'd take natural advice from him any day. But poultices and potions were not her deal, so she would leave that to Elwood, who seemed more receptive to Ash's doctor tendencies.

"I'll leave you two to it. Enjoy the gifts, fellas." With the pikas delivered to their intended recipients, Fox bowed gracefully out of the way, not wishing to cause any further unrest with her discomfort of healers.
◆Good thread guys, Last post from me. Im gonna set us up another thread, Kim. Remedy, Ash has a word he would like with you♡ ◆

Ash nodded pleasantly even at the dismissal of Fox not desiring the treatment. Ash shrugged it off as not wanting someone to take away her hardcore battle scars.
Hell, if a babe wanted to look like she could take down a bear who rode on a carriage of sharks while juggling flaming T Rexs, who was he to stop her?

His offer was graciously accepted by Electric El, and shining a beaming grin at his lupine counterpart, Ash lightly bumped the male's left broad shoulder with his right slim one.

"Alright then Electro bro, step into my office, if you may. "

The teen observed the Alphess walk away, and stood there Gazing at the ember until she plodded off into farther Caldera lands.
He worried for her.

Troubles aside, Ash led his way into the den, awaiting the presence of his patient.
OOC: Sounds good! :)

IC: While Elwood was willing to receive Ashton's care, Fox was more reluctant. In fact, she flat out refused his services, though she wasn't necessarily rude about it. It seemed that she had a stubborn streak, or maybe it was independence -- whatever it was, Elwood did not blame her or judge her. Instead, he simply called a farewell after her retreating figure. "Bye, Fox. Nice to see you!"

He then responded to Ashton's friendly jostle with a grin, and followed the medic into his "office." As he disappeared into the depths, he said, "I hope this doesn't hurt too much..." He was only half-kidding.
