emiya explored! the territory these people claimed was vast compared to what she knew from home, and there were many things to look at, to study, to smell; along the waterway she spied a loon which had settled to coasting upon the creek, and was awed by it.
when it called, she listened, and when it suddenly took off she wondered what had spurred it to do so — ignorant that her presence might've disturbed the bird. behind her something stirred among the trees, but she did not take notice of it.
without the bird to hold her attention emiya turned towards the stilted redgrass and frosted bushes bordering the tree line, and began to stalk there.

Arlette had been busy today with catching fish since that seemed the one thing Cygnet seemed to enjoy. She didn't know what triggered her so to provide for the child that wasn't hers. At least it kept her active. The woman had fed Cygnet and decided that she could use an afternoon of doing something she might enjoy herself.

Arlette was startled though when she stumbled upon an unknown scent. The female followed it, and then found a female stalking amongst the bushes. She was young. "Hi, are you new?," Arlette asked curiously. What seemed to get her to ease a little was the hint of Arric she smelled.
