He'd meant to talk to Kukutux, if only to say hello! But she disappeared from him after the silent greeting they'd shared — and, out from under her eye, he thought he might try and find Vairë instead. He could introduce her to Raindrop, or see if perhaps she'd brought her children with her — he wanted to see if he could tell them apart just by knowing their names.

Instead, in his searching, he found himself face to face with someone who looked quite a bit like the moondoe.

"Hey," he said, looking faintly bewildered despite his smile. "Do you..."

They smelled of Moonglow. That made sense. But the isbjørn felt oddly flustered faced with what he thought must be one of Vairë's siblings — and he could not quite tell if they were a brother or a sister. There were strict guidelines on how he ought to act toward either one, but the protocols were quite varied.

He resolved to just be polite.

"You're from Moonglow," he said with a wag of his tail. "I've been staying at Moonsong — I think I mighta crossed your trail a few times. Is Ariadne your sister?"

It felt safer to bring up Ariadne rather than Vairë. Valiant tried not to contemplate why.
Thank you for starting <3
The snowdapple man who approached was wholly unfamiliar to Inkalorë, but they recognized the scents upon him readily. Moonsong, and a hint of Moonglow itself. Ink greeted him with a smile and a relaxed sway of their tail.

She is, They nodded as they spoke, casting a brief glance around for the sister in question. They didn't see her. Oh well! Ink looked back to the man and promptly forgot that they'd been looking her at all. I'm Inkalorë. I've been gone for a long time. Off traveling! But I thought it was time to come home - especially now that my sister - well, my littermate, she has children. And no husband to care for her, for them. Inkalorë was troubled by this.

If they ever found the man who'd abandoned her, they would cheerfully beat his ass.

But I guess you didn't ask for my life story, Inkalorë smiled apologetically. It's just a long way of saying I'm not very familiar with Moonglow or the other packs anymore. What'd you need, though? I can try to help.
The isbjørn's ears swiveled forward as Inkalorë mentioned they'd been traveling. This and their name was all he really knew about them, however, so he was quick to shake his head when they demured.

"A life story would be great," he said, although he didn't push for one. "I'm trying to get to know everyone, so it'd be a good start. My name's Valiant — I been traveling, too. 'Til recently."

It wasn't a life story; he was similarly worried about boring the other wolf with such a boring topic as himself.

"You think you'll stick around?" he wondered. "Or just visiting?"
