Set after the hunt and after Sulukinak's RO
Kaluktuk returned to the camp and continued to fume, feeling agitated and thinking he was justified in how he dealt with the shadow. He wished to do the same with the teenager who had inserted themselves to his hunting party also, but they did not wear the scent of Ariadne; he would not disturb any possible diplomacy between villages over this. The man felt as Sangilak of Moonsong, as Sivullik to his hunting party set by Rodyn, it was his job to keep his hunters safe.
There was still much to do. He needed to funnel his energies in to work, and saw many opportunities to do so. Bison were being portioned and skinned; jovial spars were transpiring between the menfolk and Kaluktuk thought of Njord; his son Kivaluk had hunted too, and Kaluktuk wondered if some common ground could be sought between them as they worked.
For now, he paced the Moonsong camp with agitated energy.
