Ryon thought of @Raindrop while he roamed through the mountains, looking for @Void. His attraction to her had been almost immediate, but he hadn't wanted to show it. Besides, he had only just met her, it would have been weird to be anyway other than what he had been. He wondered if he would see her again. He figured it would be easy enough to find her if she joined the pack on the coast.

Ryon brought his focus to the current, reaching the top of the mountain. He lifted his maw and howled for his brother, telling him he'd be in the Vale. If Void was anywhere within several miles, he would have heard him. Ryon headed down the mountain and into the forest. He would wait a day or so to see if his brother showed.
Void heard a familiar howl. Ryon was back around! In the last several months, two of his three long lost brothers had found him, along with his unknown younger half brother, Alek. Void went out to find her brother, heading towards Northstar Vale as his howl said that’s where he would be
Ryon took the time to explore the forest a bit while waiting to see if his brother had heard his call. He found himself coming to the edge of Lotus Spring. The water was low, the lily pads were in their dormant state, and there wasn't an insect to be found. Pitty, as it was probably a beautiful sight in the spring and summer. He wandered around the edge to see if anything interesting would appear.

When nothing did, he headed back into the forest. A moving shadow caught his eye, and his gaze narrowed as he tried to figure out what it was. When he realized it, he barked a greeting to his brother and quickly trotted over. He nudged Void's shoulder with his muzzle. How are you, brother? he asked, genuinely wanting to know.
"So-so, my sons been missing for months and my daughter is sick. my other son and daughter are healthy and growing well but I am worried for our missing and sick children. my pack, midnight scar, faltered as we lost all our members, and me and meylodi, my mate, are trying our best to provide for our pups and protect them this winter but its not the easiest task at hand..." Void said honestly. "How have you been though?" he asked.
Ryon went from relaxed and happy to surprised and concerned. His brows furrowed and his ears flicked back and forth as his brother explained what had been going on. Ryon instantly felt guilty for traipsing around the wilds without a care in the world. All the while, his brother and his family had needed his support.

Ryon's brain immediately switched gears. Tell me what I can do, he said. I can stay and support the family, or I can go in search of your son. Whatever you need of me, I am at your disposal. He would not leave Void and the others in such dire times. I will protect, I will hunt, he continued on. Consider me your personal auxiliary.

He waited then, expectantly, as if Void would give his first command right away. Of course, Ryon was ready and willing if he did.
