Amber moves through the forest with swiftness and elegance. She stopped and sniffed for any sign of Runt. She could pick up a faint trace of her sent, and Dante's. For a second she panicked but then realized it was stale. She followed the sent slowly, kicking up dirt over the sent trail on her way there. It took a while, but she finally reached the hotspot of the sent. "Runt? Are you here?" she whisperers. She looks around for a little head to poke out somewhere, or a friendly greeting. "Runt?" she repeats. She looks over her shoulder to see if anyone was following her. No one. Good.
thanks! I wanted to add that as of this thread, I consider Runt to not be injured yet, because I'm not sure of the outcome of what happens there.

The kid had indeed made her temporary den very close to Blacktail Deer Plateau. Her original one's entrance had been widened too much by that wolf, as well as he had scared her away from making it again in the territory. It had only lasted two or three days. She soon heard Amber's familiar voice, calling her name. The kid entered the territory with caution, soon finding her gaurdian nearby. "Yup." She replied. She entered the clearing where Amber stood. "Hey Amber!" She said kindly with a broad smile.
She let her breaths relax as she saw a little head appear. "You almost gave me a hard attack there!" she replied playfully, "I thought someone..... ate you or something." She walked over to her and greeted her with whimper. "Sorry I don't have food. I was going to hunt, but Alpha summoned the pack for a meeting." She was so used to calling her leader 'Alpha' instead of his real name. She hated when her old pack ways got to her. "Watcha been up too?" Her life so far has been, well, interesting actually. She had gotten the hang of some of the pack rules. But there was that time she almost got her nose ripped off when not listening to her Gamma, or having no clue what a trade was. Other than that, fine.
"That's okay." She said with a smile. The kid knew how to hunt, although ever since it had started getting colder, it had gotten harder to find prey. "I had a run-in with your alpha for a start," she told Amber with a grin. She knew it would probably worry the lady, but she was okay. She was alive, wasn't she? "How are ya doin'?" She asked Amber. She noticed the scent of her pack was stronger on her since she'd been there longer.

edit: @Amber have you seen this post? It's just you haven't posted in a little while.
