@Peregrine was safe, for the time being. Phox split his time between Moonglow and here, spending what time he had here trying to make sense of what was going on with his son. He was so very glad he was alive, but in what state? Towhee was off again, no doubt making the rounds to visit the children scattered about. He wished he could have gone with her, but that would mean not being nearby when Peregrine awoke, and Phox wanted to be no more than a day's trip away. Less, if he hustled.
He sought out @Heph today, though he would just as well welcome company from any of his packmates. He realized he didn't know a good deal of them, and perhaps it would be a good idea to remedy that. It might take his mind off the younger Redhawk. He knew of Chakliux's two wives, had met Rodyn briefly, and he knew of two sons of the leader. But he knew there were others who had been at the hunt—others he could not put a name to if he tried.
The weather was cold, but not quite freezing. There were clouds overhead this afternoon, but they broke on occasion to reveal sunshine.
