The bodily heat radiating through her small frame had subsided. The muscle aches had lessened, and she finally felt as though she'd slept a full night without interruption.

Upon awakening, a refreshed feeling overwhelmed her, and she couldn't help but seek out her mother, @Chacal, to share this sudden glee of finally being free of the sickness that had confined her for so long.

Moving in a slow circle, a demure dancer in the wake of the sun, a soft smile lightened her features. It has passed, mother! She sing-songs, her voice rid of the rasp it once held, now clear and angelic. I feel... like me again!
<3<3<3 my baby!

An ailing child weighed heavily on a mother's mind; more so, perhaps, than anything else might. The responsibilities as a pack leader were weighty, and yet they did not consume her every waking thought. What Chacal cared for, above all else, was her family- and her daughter's persistent illness had hung about her like a shroud of shadow.

She was astonished to see Chiro, and to hear her bell-like voice again now that she was seemingly free of the congestion. "Ahhh, my sweet!" She sang as she moved to greet her young girl, hardly recognizing her to see her in daylight after so much time spent in recovery. She laughed happily as she passed her muzzle over the girl's brow, pulling back to beam down at her daughter with dancing eyes. "So glad I am, to see you back on your feet!"
She revels in her mother's voice, and gentle gesture, taking both as comfort.

I am glad to be free of that den. It becomes stuffy after so long. The mere thought makes her nose wrinkle.

Tell me, mother — what have I missed! Much, I am sure. She wouldn't have been able to say just how long she'd been out of it, if anyone had asked. While she lay still in the den, the others would have continued to move around as her as they normally did.
