Pale eyes cast about the blandness of his den. He could scarcely call such an ulaq—for Sialuk and her people would speak this word with such reverence and warmth that the coldness of his own was unworthy to be called such.

But he lay the pelts out—grooming aside marks, and ensuring grime and tears had not marred what he had worked hard to collect in the prior months.

Stepping back out now, his eyes blinking against the sun as it highlighted the bright white snow, Argent took a moment to breathe—to tame the hammering of his heart—and certainly override what felt like the oncoming of a panic attack.
Talisman hadn’t been back to the healing ulaq in many days now. He felt well enough to explore the mountain slowly, always hoping to cross paths with his new pack mates. There were two in particular he hoped to find, though Talis hadn’t managed to bump into @Acrux or @Maggak just yet.

Today, his wandering paws brought him toward a tall man with a handsome silver pelt. The coyote couldn’t help but noticed their eye colors were the same, though he quickly averted his own gaze. He tucked his tail too, approaching the stranger with utmost respect.

Hello, I’m Talisman, he greeted, the tip of his auburn tail wriggling.
Pale blue eyes met the same—though the other pair belonged to what appeared to be a coyote. Blinking as the canid glanced quickly away, Argent settled back his stance, unused to being approached in such a timid manner.

“Hey,” he offered, the presence of this unfamiliar villager only serving a reminder that he had been gone for a time—and as such, new faces had come to roam the mountain. “I’m Argent. I was away on errands,” he offered, though the statement was not entirely truthful—fulfilling a bride price.
He didn’t quite follow the comment about errands, though he acknowledged it with a polite smile, his small head canting. Talis took another opportunity to ascertain the wolf, noting a quiet intensity about him. It made the coyote double check his submissive posture.

I’m the new kid on the block, he shared with a wiggle of his tail. What kinds of errands?
