It was still cold and the woman longed for the warmth of the sun though she knew it was ways away. She had been following the scent of a rabbit for a bit and was having no luck until it sprinted in front of her and the chase was on. She may have been older but the woman could still manage to hunt small critters by herself and it was quick and simple as she gained speed and jumped on the animal quickly breaking its neck in her jaws feeling the metallic substance hit her tongue.

@Killdeer
He hadn't left the territory for a few days after his tryst with Sialuk, tending instead to the internal needs of Brecheliant. Eventually, he made his way down the caldera and entered the meadow, nose low, searching for game to bring home.

Nostrils flared, he stood suddenly upright, a clenching of his stomach.

You're kidding me, he murmured.

A shadow-clad woman, hunting—but the smell of blood and fresh kill that accompanied her paled in comparison to the odor she carried herself. Sweet and pungent. . .

Fuuuuuuck, Killdeer remarked. He ought to walk away.

And yet.
Im dying XD this great

Her tail wagged slowly as she indulged in her meal almost not noticing the make over the scent of her prey until she finished. She licked her muzzle and looked over to the man whom she noticed now. “Well hello there.” Short and simple with small smile. She wondered was it her scent that drew him over or the smell of her freshly devoured meal. Or both.
Like a magnet to its partner, an arrow to his source, he moved forward. She was older than his mother—older than Towhee, even! He ought not. . .

And yet, the young Casanova was nosing at her cheek, her shoulder, awash in the scent of her.

Kill be damned. Maybe they'd get a bite afterwards.

I. . .don't know why I keep finding you ladies like this, he admitted, and choked back a hysterical laugh. It was as if fate held him in its arms, directing him where it may.
She could ask the same thing it was as if everywhere she went, the ebony female found eligible males to fulfill her needs. Which she wasn’t complaining about by the way. She had a goal in mind and she was determined. She chuckled a bit before speaking. “Tis the season I guess.” Her tail swayed her. She knew her scent would attract many she was just glad none of the men she encountered were forceful. “What’s your name?” She questioned. He seemed young but that didn’t change her mind. Just had to see his personality and how she’d play this encounter.
He took a deep breath and replied, Killdeer.

He moved toward the dark woman, linked like a magnet to her scent. Came up close, rubbing like a cat, nose against her belly, her flanks.

Your name? he managed, grinning despite himself.

So close to her core, he. . .

He was short-circuiting, a bit.
The man gave his name and it was a different one for sure. She kinda liked it. “My name is Moons….” the woman cut herself off after felt his body rubbing up against hers, and that same feeling that rose in her stomach was once again there and she found her body acting before her mind. Shayne would tell him her name after. She felt a soft needy like whine escape from her maw. Which wasn't normal for the she-wolf she did not beg. What is wrong with you she thought keep it together
It wasn't coming. No matter. Killdeer was young and gripped with lust, and he burst past formalities, instead weaving his way around her body, hooking his foreleg over, and—

...

...

Well, if she'd allow, the thing would happen. And the young man would have a very, very dopey look upon his face as he stepped back.
They had finished it quickly but hopefully, it was effective. She turned around to look at the man and he seemed pleased with himself.

“Well hi there.” the woman herself had her own smile on her muzzle. it was fast and they hadn't even had a conversation not that the other had been very talkative until after the deed was done. So she thought maybe of starting one to ease the awkwardness
As with Sialuk, he breathed hard, sank down, sat beside the shadowy woman with a dopey smile.

Hi, there, Killdeer echoed, grinning. So your name is. . .Moonssss—? He drew out the S she'd cut off with a slight chuckle, raising his eyebrows.

At least she seemed much more pleased than his first lover. He was improving! That was good!

He'd hang his metaphorical hat on that.
She let out a small laugh as he asked her name. “It’s Moonshadow actually.” The shadowy woman smiled. The female was tired but might as well get to know the man a bit more than just a physical level.

“I live not too far from here and you? You smell of a pack.” His pelt was intertwined with many different scents.
Moonshadow, he repeated with a smile. That's pretty; I like it.

He nodded in response to her question, canting his head toward the caldera. Brecheliant, Killdeer said. Just over on that dome-topped mountain.

Returning his gaze to her face, Killer asked, And what about you? Do you have a home—I mean, since we did that, just now, you and the babies will need a place to live and—

If he were human, he'd clap his hands over his mouth. As it was, he snapped his jaws shut, gave a brief shake of his head, and tried again: Do you have a place to stay? Somewhere that's safe?
She took the name he spoke into memory for future use if puppies did come from this. The woman smiled at his compliment of her name. “Thank you.”

She enjoyed the fact that the male cared enough to ask questions. “I’ve taken the liberty of occupying my old home. I stay in Blackfeather woods.” She wondered if he knew of where it was.

“So far it’s been safe but if I have any inclination it’s not I’ll move.” Now where to the she wolf had no idea. She would still have a few moons to plan everything according. “If any pups come from this are you wanting to know of them?” Might as well get down to point.
He wasn't familiar much with the territory she spoke of, but as for the question—

Of course, yes, Killer replied, fervent. I swear I'll know them, love them, help out. But—do you have a pack, or are you all on your own? It would probably be better if you had others to help.

He returned her stare with interest. I'm sure Brecheliant would be happy to have you.

Juuuust would need to check with Maia and Teya beforehand. Except, he'd already made the offer.

Fuck, wasn't post-nut clarity supposed to be a thing?
She smiled when he said he’d want to be involved and it made her heart happy. All she wants is for her babies to be loved, safe and happy. “I will say that I had another event like this a few days prior.“ She didn’t want to leave anything out.

Open and honest, she was too old for lies anyway. “I hope to find my brother when I get back to the woods. But if I don’t and find myself alone I’ll come find you.”
Ah. He was a little disappointed, but couldn't be surprised. Not as if they were betrothed to each other, or anything. He nodded, smiling softly, satisfied with the answer.

Good. I'm glad to hear that, Killdeer replied. I. . .just lost my own father, so I wouldn't wanna be a stranger to them. They should know more than just my name and face.

He snuggled up to Moonshadow for a little while longer, but knew he had to get back to Brecheliant soon. With a warm farewell, and a promise to check up on her in the dark forest, Killdeer left with an odd mixture of pleasure, shame, and fear.

Two women. Was he perhaps as desirable as Sialuk had implied?

I'll make this my last post so you can do puppy things!
“I promise you won’t be.”

She couldn’t wait for her babies to come now. Each male wanted involvement and she wouldn’t be doing it all alone this time. They rested together and once they parted ways, the woman went to go to her woods and prepare.

archiving now. :)
