she had kept her eyes on the tidepools hidden within the bay late last night. and in the early morning, iseul had come to pluck the delicacies. her mind had certainly wandered to the boy, to matteo. he walked with a man in his life now, and iseul knew that it was something he desired and needed. she did not know much of those magenta eyes and that marked muzzle, but iseul would do her best to trust that matteo was in good hands.

she shakes her mind free of the trouble. tender paws dipped into delicate crevices as she works a the bundle of mussels she found bound to the rocks of the bay structure, tongue running over precious meat she manages to break from the shells.

she laps at the flesh of those mussels, napping at the meat and greedily letting the delicacies slip down her throat eagerly before she can hear the voice of another fill her ears. the sound felt foreign in her ears, and even though Iseul knew she was a stranger in these parts, even this language did not sound familiar like the common tongue she had found all over the wilds.

curiously she lifts her head, and before her, iseul could only really describe him as a thing with his coat. his tune sounded strong, and Iseul strumbled back into the tidepool, the water splashing around her as she tried to get a grip of this creature before her very eyes!

a surprised yelp left her as she tried to get her feet beneath herself again, and Iseul wasn't sure if she should flee or try to scare him off! but how could she even determine what to do if she didn't know what this thing even was?
