@Kadence Set close to the borders of BFW

The arrangements were set. An assassin, trained by the very best, would come to Blackfeather. One of Deadmau's own, a young woman was being sent to them. Meldresi had permission to use the girl to expand the web that Mephala was weaving from Blackfeather to encompass as much of these Teekon Wilds as they could.

For the moment, the heavily pregnant priestess laid near the edges of her territory, eyes half closed in contemplation. Her pups kicked roughly inside her, fighting whatever little war was going on inside her womb. Meldresi paid them no mind and focused on planning. How many of her pups were going to be assassins? How many would be courtesans and spies? It truly depended on how many pups there were, and from the kicks she was getting, there were a bit more than three or four, a big litter.

If she played her cards right, Slade and Moon Bane would be trained as assassins, and possibly Raissa too, if she showed interest. The rest, she was not sure, for she rarely saw their faces. She much preferred a small group of wolves to manage anyway, at least until they got strong enough. But for now, she would wait for this assassin, gauge how well her skills really are and move on from there.
So Kadence herself doesn't know Deadmau planed for this, but he had someone tell her that BFW needed an assassin :)

Kadence trotted through the shadows, her pitch black pelt blending with the darkness and her large paws allowing for perfect silence. The young assassin had heard that the pack that dwelled in these shadowy woods needed an a killer like herself. She fit the description well. Not even a year old, she had already taken the lives of three. She could smell the faint tinge of border markings before she spotted the dark queen. Her belly was plump with the promise of pups soon to come. Kadence approached the soon to be mother and bowed her head.

Having not spoken much, her voice was deep and dark with a feminine twist.

"A little bird told me you needed one of my kind, no?" the juvenile questioned, her green-yellow eyes sparkling in the darkness.
Do you think Meldresi should tell Kadence what Deadmau had planned or just hide it for now?

She was younger than Meldresi expected, less than a year old, and yet she melted into the shadows and moved silently like a pro. The priestess turned towards the young assassin, who bowed her head respectfully towards her. "That little bird was correct, I need your talents." She smirked politely.

The priestess shifted her weight and faced the dark girl, indigo eyes gleaming as she examined her. Scars on her ears, three ticks. Underneath her right eye was an x, Deadmau's mark. "I am Meldresi, Alpha of Blackfeather Woods, an a priestess of Mephala. You know of her, correct?"
Maybe just hide it for now?

Kadence was glad to have a task, she had been bored for too long, the 'missions' of her old master growing quite dull. She returned the Dark Queens smirk, interested in what she had to say about the goddess.

"I know the one you speak of, yes. Why may I be of your use?" she dark assassin questioned, her pitch black fur ruffling in the slight breeze that pushed its way through the gloom. Even having just arrived in the dark woods, Kadence could tell it was a place she would like to live. The perfect base for a killer like herself.
"I wish to train assassins devoted to the Night Mother." She said blatantly, noting the assassin's interest in her lands. "They already qualify the latter, now it is just the training aspect. I have no prior experience in assassination, and even if I did, I would be out of commission for a few months. So, I need someone already accomplished in the field, and you look the part." The priestess murmured gently, letting her sultry voice carry in the breeze that had ruffled both the assassin's and the priestess' fur.
Kadence frowned at the dark queen in front of her. She had hoped that she would be able to do an actually assignment, not train petty babies. Still, this was better then her life before she escaped. And maybe if she did a good enough job, the queen would let her make a home in the woods. After thinking about it she let a sly grin spread across her striking face, her glowing yellow eyes sparkling.

"Then I am at your service. When to begin?" she asked, excited to be able to scare the shit out of some morons. Do some gruesome drills to get them ready for the real stuff. She smirked to herself at all the things she could plan.
We'll probably have to draw this out some more to get the EXP for it. :L

The priestess rose, her face twisting ever so slightly at the exertion. She was very, very close to giving birth, and the fact that she had a full litter inside her was growing cumbersome. The dark female turned towards her lands, peering into the darkness. "I'll show you to a place where you can train them, then I'll introduce you." She took a step into the black shrouded forest and began walking, waddling slightly, but confidently.
Okay, sounds good :P

Kadence followed the slightly tipsy looking female as she made her way further into the dark woods. She was excited to meet the wimps she would be training.

Her paws padded silently along behind the queen, her excitement rising the further they got into the woods. Though she became more and more interested in where Meldresi was leading the assassin, her cold, smirking expression never changed.
As the mist enveloped them both, the priestess wondered what kind of girl she was outside of her assassin's mask. Was she truly sadistic and insane, or a hardworking and loyal individual. Meldresi hoped for the latter; she wanted more loyal wolves than anything right now.

Speaking of this girl, she hadn't even learned her name yet. The priestess turned her gaze back to the young assassin and inquired. "What is your name?"
Her name. Should it even be considered a name? She had been a slave of evil, forced to work and kill so much that she feared she didn't even have an identity outside of her mask of darkness. She was sure her parents had named her before she as sold, before she was stolen. But she didn't know what it was. Therefor she just excepted her cruel fate and embraced the name. But since she had escaped, the word had been used so little that she had almost completely forgotten she had it. She had become nameless. This was chance to become what ever she wanted. The only problem was that she didn't know what else she could be.

"I am called Kadence" she said slowly, not entirely sure of herself, her voice sounding foreign to her own shadowy ears.
We should wrap it up here!

She noted the slow, uncertain way the young girl said her name. It was as if she was not used to saying it. But that would soon change, as she would be incorporated into the pack, hopefully. The priestess touched her shoulder gently with her tail, in a strange maternal way unbeknownst to her. "Welcome to my pack, Kadence."
Okay sounds good :)

The light, feathery touch on her shoulder made the dark girl look up in surprise, but not discomfort. In fact, the touch was rather comforting.

Kadence surprised herself when she felt a small smile form on her face. It felt good to be welcome somewhere. Not held captive, but welcome.

"Thank you." she said simply, dipping her head in gratitude.
Last post!

Meldresi smiled warmly back to the young female, genuine warmth. She could gain a loyal follower by playing nice, but she couldn't resist being sweet to a girl like her. She believed assassins should have some type of humanity in them. If their careers were destroyed, what would they have to fall back on?

But she felt some kind of connection to this young (misguided?) girl. Something maternal? It was probably the hormones of pregnancy, but she was really drawn to her, similar to that poor girl Nightwing from before. She kept walking through the woods, confident that she had a new disciple in her midst, so her pack could continue to survive through the winter.
