lil' spring fling to maybe lift the mood! i'll start the next round in about a week (next friday) or potentially sooner if everyone responds before then.

Sialuk was mere days from laboring her children, and while her mood wasn't exactly cheery, she couldn't help but notice the days had grown longer. The temperatures were still well and cold, with snow currently drifting down and sticking to her silvery white pelt. She heaved herself to the creekside for a long, deep drink, then decided it would be nice to see everyone at once. Maybe that would lift her spirits.

She called for @Alaric, @Elentari, the newcoming @Moonshadow, and her two children: @Acrux and @Maggak. The village was small, quiet, and cozy, but she knew this would not last long in her current state. Whether she had one or ten children this year, she knew that—once they arrived—life was about to get a whole lot more busy.
The woman felt like she was about to explode little did she know that in little as two weeks she would. She walked out of her den at the other woman’s call or more so waddled over wondering what it was that was needed, the woman looked about as far along as she was.

With a small bow of her head and a smile she spoke softly. “Hello.”
Sialuk's call came on the mountain air. Mixed with the cold snow. Alaric looked longingly at his den away from the wind where he housed cozy pelts and sweet smelling herbs, but he heeded her call.

Stepping into the space occupied with his own beat as always. Bobbing his head to a song currently playing in his mind.

He dipped his muzzle to Sialuk. Hey Lady Sialuk.

And settled beside Moonshadow. Learning your way about? You doing okay?

He asked gently.

Though his smile and his eyes were always mischievous. You could see the care and concern hidden in them. Like small little gems.
An unfamiliar face and a very familiar face answered her call. Sialuk did her best not to feel dejected by the small turnout. It would have to do. The first to arrive was well into her pregnancy as well, and Sialuk wondered silently at the children's father, but she did not ask.

It is good to meet you, Sialuk said. You are Moonshadow, yes?

To Alaric, she gave a warm smile and reached out to brush her muzzle against his. They had been through much together over the past year, and he had become a close friend in that time.
