The moon hung over the edges of the territory and though he had finished his circle Massaraq did not head inward or even settle to sleep. The coolness of the night against the encroaching rays of spring made him remember winter and sleep eluded him even as he trod after it on eager paws hoping that exhaustion would help ease him into dreams. Like wind whistling, empty and yet full of movement. And when he headed to return to familiar borders he did not hope to find sleep before the dawn.
