Peaceful interactions are welcome, she is not aware of any nearby territory’s and is not near any I believe. :)
Adah, after a peaceful rest decided to wake up and look around the small lonely area she had called for a temporary home. She was in search of water, any nearby creeks or streams will do.

She hummed to herself, perhaps to her a lovely hymn. Walking in the soft grass she came upon a small stream. A win, she walked up and drank from it. She also found a nearby puddle to wash her paws from digging her small lean to. She saw her reflection…. her thoughts drawing back to their beautifully lovely mother. She hoped she wasn’t too worried already. That would be unfortunate.

She then thought of her brother, where to start she wondered. Was there anyone nearby who could help her? Perhaps had known him yet?
when wolf dreamer returned to the valley, he carried a still-warm racoon by its ringed tail. this far into spring, the meat would be marbled with new fat. it would melt for wilwarin.

he was not alone in the valley, and did not expect to be. but he was protective of the den in the brushfall, and so moved in a friendly manner toward the stranger.

he set down the racoon. "it's a beautiful day." wolf dreamer's eyes welcomed the woman. "are you with a pack?" he had not smelled any others, but asked all the same in politeness.
Thank you for replying <3 WolfDreamer is a beautiful character.
A large wolf approached her, clad in beautiful autumn shades with black tips here and there and a bright white nape. She was reserved at first, yet saw that they were peaceful and swished her tail to greet in return….

“It is,” she started, “I am not unfortunately, I have just arrived in this land in search of a relative, whom I haven’t found yet.” This man was polite, could he have known John? She’d play it out further, “By chance, are you with a pack?” This was only a temporary home.
thank you! i like they're both peaceful<3

"i'm not," the dreamer said gently. he wasn't sure how much to say about wilwarin, and decided that nothing would be best. warm as the stranger might be, she was alone with children.

"i hope you find them. you've chosen a beautiful place to look."

he glanced back at the grotto and then returned to their meeting. "if you're looking for a pack to ask, i would start on the coast."
“Ah, alright,” she would not press, instead accepting and listening to the advice given further, “Thank you.” The coast….perhaps he was there! Her ears perked up a bit more, this was a good tip.

“Well then, how might I get to the sea from here?” Though exciting, she should not raise hopes too high, John could be anywhere on the coast “Thank you for the advice, and I wish you well.”

Later she would head back to the temporary lean to- and get some rest and stuff prepared for the next day. She met her first stranger in this land, they were peaceful. A good sign.
"go northwest from here for two days. you will reach the snowy coast. follow it west until you find several rivers. you'll find a pack, i'm sure. the land is too rich not to have a home on it."

he paused. "may i have your name? i've — been away from others, for a while. i'm — dreamer."

it felt odd to say aloud.
Thanks for the directions, whenever you are ready to fade let me know. :) Heading off for a couple errands.
She nodded, taking it in to her internal memory. She would go northwest, for two days. That wasn’t terrible, it would likely be a nice journey barring the weather is still nice.

He paused, “Adah, my name is Adah.” She paused with a soft smile, he stated that he hadn’t been near others for a time. “Of course, that is a unique name Dreamer,” what a lovely name it was. She enjoyed knowing of others with interesting names, knowing hers was not a common name itself.

“It is quite a pleasure to meet you, I do hope to have more peaceful encounters like this one.”
last post for me! very nice thread :)

"adah. it sounds like the sun."

he watched her go, then picked up the raccoon and turned toward the pile of fallen foliage where wilwarin made her den with the star-sons.

adah. it was like music.

there is music always in this world.
“Thank you!” she said graciously, then turned to leave. Him doing the same. Peace favors the peaceful….
