It was getting colder. The Scylla brothers spent a lot of their time huddled together at the edge of Ravensblood Forest or hunting in the surrounding areas, whiling away the hours without any real plans.

But there wasn't much food to be had, and despite occasional visits from @Neris and the constant company of @Lethe Scylla, Eldoris was starting to feel a little lost. He was a pack wolf, and two-and-a-half wolves did not a pack make. They would need to attach themselves to a group sooner rather than later, but approaching a group in the dead of winter was risky, and the lone brothers were starting to become weak and slow. The longer they waited, the worse it became.

It was morning, and Lethe had departed to hunt. Dori sat in the shelter of a black, water-beaten rock near the edge of the water, watching the rain and waiting.
Hope you don't mind a visit from Sen. c: She's working towards the Outrider trade, so maybe they could help one another out?

Winter was a time of cold air and possible snow, but far from being a time to visit the shore. The ocean breeze would hold a salty chill to it, and entering the water for a long period of time could very well give a wolf hypothermia. Still, here the sooty female was once again, carefully placing each paw in front of her as she walked along the shore. She'd been to the area before, back when she was still a loner wandering Sea Lion Shores. Now she wandered again, but not as a loner. This time she walked the shore as a pack wolf, who was once again a long way from home. Traveling away from the Glacier was like a routine for her, the urge to see and explore more never letting her stay in the pack's territory for long.

The rain fell down onto her coat, but didn't seem to hold a roughness to it. It'd roll right off, only ever letting a few drops sink down to touch her skin. It was much different from her previous trek near the ocean, where the rain had been coming down so hard it was nearly blinding. That rain had been as cold as ice, soaking through every inch of her fur and down to the flesh beneath it. It had been a dreary day, but she'd managed to meet another wolf who lead them both to a sheltered area. When the storm had settled, Sen had departed from the small shelter and went on with her journey, but felt a bit guilty after the fact.

She would never admit to searching for the wolf, or just any other lupine, again, but a small piece of her conscious was excited by the thought. Perhaps she could even offer to lead whoever she'd meet back to the Glacier, and maybe even convince them to join. However strange it was for such thoughts to be moving through the supposedly-cold-hearted lupine's mind, she couldn't prevent them from forming, nor could she force them away. So, there she trotted along, each step leaving a print in the sand. The form of a rock came into view, piquing her curiosity a bit, but with the scent of a wolf lingering near it, her paws refused to immediately carry her any closer.

"Evening," her voice called out, hoping she wasn't just talking to an unoccupied rock. "Weather's not too good today, wouldn't you say?" A grin cracked across her maw, recalling a similar conversation starter from a short time ago.
