The little omnivore was sniffling along the side of the Ridge. She was glad she was slowly exiting the Coast area. She was sick of that stupid coywolf and how mean and stupid she was. Autumn was sick of somehow accidentally running into her enemy several times. And then people like Osprey Jr. and Ypres and Amelie were those ones she never saw again, even though she would prefer seeing them over that darn coywolf.

She lifted her head and glanced up. A small snowflake had landed on her nose. "Oo!" She gasped a little as tiny crystals began to fall onto the Ridge's peak. The light snow for today had begun.
Yeah Kiiyea lives around her so it will work great :D Can it be set from when she is back from her journey to the coast?

Kiiyea was glad to be back from her long trip to the coast. It had been nice and all, but she had missed her rocky ledges and the drifting of snow. A couple rocks crumbled carelessly under her too-big paws as she climbed up the ridge. Up ahead she heard a faint gasp and caught sight of a red flash of fur. The royal lynx sniffed the air but was disappointed when she found that it was blowing towards the unknown creature. Being her usual stuck up self, she didn't care if the animal caught scent of her or not, just so long as it didn't bother her.
sure. Also i wanted to add i love her avatar.

Autumn caught the scent in the air. It was familiar. Cougar... No, bobcat.. No..... She scanned her mind, trying to recall from her childhood what it was. Lynx! She glanced down the slope. Lynxes from Silvertip had a wide range of personalities, ranging from territorial and aggressive to helpful and kind. It was hard to determine what they were like. She hopped from ledge to ledge down the slope a little, till she was on the one right above the feline. "Hello, Miss. I'm Autumn. What's yours?" Well, she would soon find what this lynx was like.
Thanks! Autumns is really pretty too!

Too bad. The little red creature had spotted her and was now situated on a ledge right above her head. She was very energetic and her approach to Kiiyea made even the ignorant cat feel a little spark of happiness. It was not often that you met such a nice soul in these lands full of mutts. Maybe this was an opportunity to make a rare friend.

Still, she tilted her chin up and gazed at the fox through wide yellow eyes. She was pretty small for her breed, probably the same size as the red canine sitting in front of her.

"I am Kiiyea. Pleasure to meet you, Autumn. Do you live around here as well?" asked the small cat, her whimsical voice ringing through the rocks and snow like a light breeze. It was not often that the feline made friends, but this might be an exception.
thanks!

"Nice to meet you, Kiiyea. I don't live around here- I'm a traveler. I wander around, in the Wilds mostly." Autumn informed her. Her traveling seemed to come up in her conversations a lot. Most wolves thought she would stay somewhere, but adventure had been found best by traveling. She had made many friends, a few incidents where someone tried to hunt her, and even an enemy. Most of her friends she had never seen again. She remembered the first time she had started her travels- she had met a wolf pup called Osprey Junior with strangely colored eyes. She'd never seen her again though. Ah, memories.
Kiiyea had always enjoyed traveling around, but it was always a relief to come back home to her cozy den nestled in the mountains. She couldn't imagine not having a permanent place to be.

"Sounds tough. But I bet you get to see a lot of amazing things." the flecked cat observed, her eyes shining with a little bit of admiration. She hadn't come into this conversation looking to be all buddy buddy with the fox, but she found herself opening up more and more, and actually enjoying the talk she was having.

"But since you're here, can I do anything to help you?" that last part surprised even her, as she rarely offered her time up willingly to someone else.
"I do. I get to meet lots of people too." She said. Some places she went were very pretty. She had especially liked the shore and these mountains right here. Nice veiws. When she asked if she could help her, Onyx was a little surprised. It wasn't often that total strangers offered to help her with anything. She was no longer a total stranger, but they didn't really know eachother very well yet. "Well... I don't need help with anything... Do you? We could hunt and split the catch, or I could give you a story or some gossip... Whatever you want, really, long as it's not impossible." Autumn said to Kiiyea. She was willing to help as long as Kiiyea was nice and stuff.
Kiiyea shook her head when the fox asked if she needed any help herself. In fact, she was pretty worn out from her trip and eager to get back to her den to take a long nap.

"No, I don't think there is anything I need at the moment. In fact, I'm just getting back from a journey of my own. I am actually pretty tired, so I might just go back to my den." she admitted, yawning a little bit. The thought of her nice warm bed of rabbit pets motivated the little cat to get back.

"But it was really nice meeting you! Maybe we will meet again soon." she offered hopefully, looking back up at the red canine.
"Maybe! I hope to see you again sometime, Kiiyea!" She said with a kind smile. She was a little disappointed that there wasn't anything they were going to chat about, but hey, meeting a lynx instead of a wolf was a fun and good enough change. Most of what she met were canines, why not a feline for once? "G'bye Kiiyea. Till next time, friend!" She called, with a whip of her fluffy tail over her head like she was waving. With that she dashed off, down the ridge, and hopefully in the direction of more creatures who were as kind and friendly as Kiiyea.

last post for me! Thanks for the thread.
Yeah! That was fun!

The fox yipped a goodbye and waved her tail over her head in a farewell. The small feline found herself smiling a bit as she watched her red-furred friend scamper away. It wasn't often that she met someone that made her open up like that. It was refreshing.

When the last glimpse of Autumn disappeared in the maze of rocks and snow, the winter cat turned and headed further up in the mountains towards her home. It was good to be back.
