@Grimm @Mikael @Theseus @Godfrey Maybe one of the newbies could hop in? Fox will be lukewarm friendly (at the very best), but I need to meet you peeps!

Six days of relentless lovemaking was taking its toll on Fox. Not that she was about to complain about the situation. She relished each and every time Peregrine touched her, and she had barely eaten. Well, there was the foray into the holiday feast, in which they had coupled in front of everybody. Fox had felt no shame in doing as much. They were wild animals, after all, and she would allow Peregrine to do whatever he wanted to her so long as it resulted in children. Not that she was anything but happy to oblige, of course. The ways in which her body had changed had caused her to ache every moment that she was away from him, and relish every moment that his body was entwined with her own.

Still, there were moments when they had to break away from one another, and now was one of those times. After a recent bout of good ol' fashioned humping, Fox slipped away to one of the caldera's creeks for a long drink of water. There, she sat for a moment, basking in the silent cold and wondering how long she could even stand to be away from him.
Tempest warily approached the Alpha Female. She knew she was probably close to finishing her 'special week now, and Tempest hoped she wouldn't mind company. She fell into a submissive posture next to the beautiful fae. "Greetings, @Fox." she announced with respect. "Once again, thank you for accepting me"
Don't worry about tagging me in each reply. :)

If Fox had known that Tempest thought of her as a "beautiful fae," she would have had a laugh-attack. Fox had always been a rough-and-tumble tomboy who liked scrapping with anybody and everybody who was willing. Of course, she'd have to tone it down once the pups were born, but that didn't mean she would completely stop her wardening and warrioring... the latter of which wasn't even a real word.

"No need to be so formal," Fox replied, twitching an ear. "Any sign of your murderous father lingering about?" Crass and uncouth as always, but perhaps accentuated by her current state of mind. "What does he look like, anyway? Do you know his name?" If he came traipsing into the caldera, Fox wanted to make sure he was easily found and put to death if need be.
Tempest smiled as the fae spoke, then quickly frowned. "He is a huge black brute, his name i do not know. I have not seen or scented him since I came to these lands. Hopefully, he is dead already."
Tempest sat a respectful distance from the red fae, before continuing. "Know that I will let nothing harm this pack. I would gladly risk my life for the pack and your unborn pups." she said in a calm voice. She wanted to wipe out all doubts the alpha may have about her.
Large and black. That could have described half the wolves in Teekon Wilds. Apparently, Tempest's father didn't have any defining features, and she didn't even know his name. Well, that was going to make it awfully difficult to figure out if a big black wolf was her father or not. Fox narrowed her eyes when Tempest pledged that no harm would come to Redhawk Caldera. She wondered if Bones had ever made the same vow.

“Good,” Fox replied in a brusque voice. “Have you met anybody else here?” she asked, doing her best to be amiable and friendly. It was just so difficult when all she wanted to do was shut herself away from everybody and spend the entire week with Peregrine.

Fox listened, disinterested, until she felt like she'd spent enough time not to come off as a complete butt, then made a beeline back to her lover.

Tacking on an ending since it's more than a month old.
