Please note that this song is not mine! I got it from Wolf's Rain.<3 @Nishu Inte. Spar?

A bright, full moon hangs over the Teekon Wilds. Rain sings her songs to it, her voice pure in the frigid night air. It echoes off the mountain for all to hear, mixing in with the songs of others who call out to the moon this night.

I hear a voice.
A voice, resounding through the sky that stopped crying.
It has shot through the target of my heart.
Chasing the summer I spent with you,
I pass through the end of winter.
The words I heard from you that day
Are guiding me.
The smell of a snow storm,
High frequencies mixed in a harmony.
There's more than enough memories, but
If I turned around, I could lose just as much.
So I recklessly went down that road,
Praying for tomorrow.

She goes quiet and gazes at the disk in the night sky. A full moon always sends her heart soaring, she loves the mystic feelings she gets from it. Like the white rock fills her with power. Rain sits on her spot on one of the many jutting cliffs of the Sunspire. It is a beautiful night, the sounds of crickets filling her ears and the starts dotting in thick patterns across the sky.
You want to spar with Nishu? but look at him! you can't attack that! xD No worries, still will be a spar soon.

Nishu wasn't far away from Rain when she began to sing. He was out to find a place to enjoy the full moon. He didn't expect to find her out here but at the same time he was glad she was here close by. He wasn't ready to sleep yet so the only thing that came to mind was to go see her.

He approaches from below and looks up at Rain. The Moonlight shined onto her which made her appear to glow. He remained silent and watched her sing. He has never heard anyone really sing before so to him it was a new experience. He listened carefully to the rest of her song. It felt as if Rain was some sort of goddess enchanting the mountain. He was glad that he didn't miss this beautiful event.

Once she had finished it left him with a smile. He wanted to get her attention but not in a normal matter. He didn't want to ruin the mood that was in the air. "Oh goddess of the moon, you're as beautiful as the moon itself even more when you enchant the mountain with your songs." He said as he bowed down gracefully. "You bless me with your presence." All he wanted to do was to keep Rain in her moment. Just coming to say hello might have ruinned everything, Nishu didn't want to ruin anything for Rain.
The sound of a voice speaking to her spooks Rain. She jumps a little, turning to see Nishu behind her, she smiles at him, laughing softly at his praise and feeling bashful towards it. "No one can compare with the beauty of the moon." She glances back up at it with a dreamy look in her eyes. "Together we are blessed. I am only honored to be able to sing to her in hopes that she hears." It takes a moment for her to pull her gaze back to Nishu. "She watches us," Rain tells him. "Protects us from the night. Once every few weeks she gives us herself in full. I believe we must honor that privilege." The lighter grey in his coat shines bright in the moon's light making him look as if he is hiding partly in shadows. He looks mysterious to her this night. A feeling moves in her heart, the moon is making her more vulnerable with the way it brings forth strong emotions. "What do you believe of it, Nishu?" She asks him curiously. She wonders if he has any personal beliefs of the disk in the sky. He had mentioned a Goddess, but that may have only been a saying, not a true belief.
It was a bit difficult to figure out how to turn this into a spar but I think I got it :P

Nishu then proceeded in joining Rain at her spot among the cliffs. He sat down at her side and looked up at the moon. He and the moon both shared the color of silver and so did Rain. It appeared that Rain shared a connection with the moon, perhaps the same way he did. He was told that the moon was a Knight herself. She used to be a strong powerful wolf who wanted to guide all of her kin through life. Her devotion was so strong that her spirit had transformed into the moon that they all know. Ever since then she had guided wolves all over the world with her wisdom and light and continues to do so today.

Thinking about it he turned to face Rain and gave her an answer. "I believe the moon used to be a Knight like me. Her spirit was so strong that she lives on as the moon we see tonight. I was told she was strongly devoted to guide wolves through the darkness and onto the right path. I'm sure your song made her smile." He said calmly while looking into Rain's icy blue eyes. They seem to sparkle which made it difficult to not simply stare.

Nishu felt like he should do something in the moon's honor. He thought about for a moment. The moon was a Knight, surely seeing her kin spar together to test their strength and devotion would honor her. It was an excellent time to start that promised spar he had with Rain. With the moon at it's fullest, they could spar under her light and show the strength that flows through her kins. Yes now was the best time for it.

A small grin came upon Nishu. "As a Knight showing our strength honors her. What do you say about doing that spar you wanted. Even if you are not a Knight yourself, I'm sure she wouldn't mind watching us." He said with a smile. There was enough space around them and with the moonlight shinning on them it was sure to be good to spar here. He waited for an answer before moving to set himself up for a spar.
Rain smiles at Nishu as he comments that her song made the moon smile. She hopes that the moon has indeed heard her. The song seems to fit her life, it makes her sad to think she's still hurting inside. Her shoulders slope a little at the thought. As Nishu explains his beliefs she pushes down her sorrows and listens intently.

He tells her that the moon used to be a knight that now hangs in the sky to guide all wolves to the right path. She isn't too surprised that this is what he believes in and can't help but press her nose to his shoulder with a smile saying, "
It's a strong belief." Her gaze shifts from Nishu's eyes to the moon in it's beauty. She takes a small breath in, enjoying his scent before turning her whole head back up. He is beginning to smell like the mountains.

She flicks an ear at his next statement. "
A spar?" Even if it weren't for the moon, she would still spar with him. He still owes her one. She spins to face the dark silver male, eyes gleaming with excitement. "I would love to!" Without warning she jumps to tackle him, a playful growl vibrating in her chest.
As Rain pushed her nose against his shoulder it left him thinking of what he was actually doing. He had always expected following leaders around or atleast a person that's really in need. With Rain she was in need but he also owed her at the same time. Everything was fine but he question the fact that she was very close to him. He didn't mind, in fact he liked it but was it really alright? There wasn't anything bad about it but if it made Rain happy then it was alright.

Even if he was watching her eyes, thinking about her made him drop his guard. Completely cought off guard she was able to tackle him without any problems. He should have been ready at all times. Next time just pokes him with her nose, he'll be on his guard. He couldn't let himself get pushed over when ever she tackles him. It would make him look bad, He was a Knight after all. And now it was the time to prove it.

"A sneak attack won't get the best of me." He said in a playful tone after being tackled. He would first attempt to pull Rain down off him forcefully. Doing this by trying to land a firm grip on her neck with his jaws then he would rotate to the right using his left paw to push rain to rotate with him. If he succeeds Rain will land on her side next to him and he would release her so he could get back on foot before making his next move. If unsuccessful he will continue to try to get out of his disadvantage without harming Rain. Nishu will not give up even if this was just a firendly spar. He couldn't let her have her way, not yet anyway.
She could feel Nishu grab the scruff of her neck between his teeth before he somehow managing to move them both and have her end up on her side next to him. Rain looks up at the grey male befuddled. Blinking a few times, she flicks an ear and gets to her paws, shaking out her coat. Without pausing to think about what he had done, she lunges forward again. If she can manage to somehow keep him down, she can grab him by the scruff and hopefully hold him. With his size and strength, she is more than positive that he will still be able to get away though. She decides that she can think as she goes and aims low towards his legs.

This night has gone from a beautiful calm full moon light sky to a mystical battle scene. She is glad that Nishu had brought it up because what could be better to give to the moon than her song and their fight? A roll of emotions courses through her like a raging river and for a split second a small whine escapes her.
Im not a fan of deciding where Rain would land her attack attempts :P so I leave the choices to you by giving the area where it will be a confirmed hit (in this case any lower part of the front standing wolf, I'm sure you get the picture). I hope that works for you.

He was successful in bringing her down to his side. As planned he released his grip and was able to get back standing. The time to do anything else was short lived as Rain lunged back at him. It didn't seem like she was going to let him think about how to beat her. It's clear that she was a worthy opponent, He was glad to be able to spar with her here under the moonlight. It was going to be a fight worth remembering.

Wanting to take advantage of his size he pushed up with his front legs believeing would target something around his neck. The moment he reached the peak of being able to stand on just his hind legs he realised Rain did not target his neck. Rain had the choice of where to land a hit anywhere at his lower body without a chance for him to evade or attempt to counter Nishu's mass by following up and stand a bit on hind legs.

His plan would be to bite lightly at Rain's hips so he could toss her even more off balance when he lands on her. But if she stands up against him instead he'll simply try to push her backwards and hopefully on her back, Then there he would have the complete advantage which may lead to a victory. Nishu did leave himself open, he might quickly end up on the side with the disadvantage but he didn't think Rain could overpower him.
[
I feel like this is a bit of power playing so let meh know if you want me to change anything. Sorry it's so short lol

The grey male rears up on his hind legs leaving himself open to an attack. Rain lunges forward to collide into his underbelly. He lands on her, biting at her hips. She stumbles for a moment before gaining her footing back, but unable to support Nishu's weight, she attempts to push him off with her teeth in his side. Her legs start to buckle and she falls under him on her own side. Now the large male has the advantage. His body is pinning her to the ground, she wiggles under him trying to escape.

Even though she had wanted to defeat him to show him that she is strong, it looks as if Nishu will end up with the win here. That doesn't mean she will give up so easily. She will still give it her all. She wants him to recognize her, to admire her strength. Over everything she wants his approval.
Rain's collision was a bit heavy to take on, more than he thought. If he hadn't landed on her he might have simply fell with a delay on his attack. Instead he was able tough it out and get a grip on her hips. He struggled to keep her down as she attempted to tossed him off her. Nishu did have the advantage but it wasn't a death match. He would just consider this as a point he gained.

He decided to hold her down just a little bit longer. "The Knight Nishu inte scores a point." He said as he pulled away from her. He was pretty sure if he had made a wrong move, Rain could have scored.

Standing, ready for another attack from her but was distracted by a thought. He didn't get to spar much ever since he started his mission. In the cold winter, the warmth he felt from her went to his mind. "The heat of battle during winter.. I forgot what that felt like, until now.. So who shall get the next point?" He said with a grin. He kinda knew this already but he always did like a spar in the winter. It was the only real way for him to get all warmed up in such short time.
Narrowing her eyes at him, Rain feels frustrated that he was able to get the first point. "I will be getting the next point." Instead of lunging at him again, she begins to circle him, her head low. "Tell me something Nishu," she starts, eyes scanning over his strong form, looking for any indication of an attack. "Where did you learn to fight." This will tell her a little more about his past. She is interested in getting to know as much as she can about him. He fascinates her with his ideas of Knights and working to bring them back. She can't help but be drawn to his strength either or his ways of wishing to protect and defend others. She can relate to that very well. But she could never work as a Knight as much as she may want to try. The pack is much more important to her.
Nishu remained in place as he lets Rain circle around him. He would only turn his head to keep an eye on her, switching sides when Rain walks out of sight. He carefully listened to her steps. The moment he hears a change in her pace he plans to turn around quickly to face her and strengthen his stance in order to hold his ground against her. While he waits for that moment he answer her.

"Back home before I started any task I would always spar with my comrades, Much like what we are doing here. You could say I've been fighting or preparing for a fight since I was born." He said calmly. Except there was only a few differences here. To make things interesting between his spars there were bets made. Basically trying to get others to do more chores. Then there was the classic test to see who was better. In every case to goal was to get better at fighting. The spar with Rain was mainly to show off strength in honor of the full moon but why not have a little added fun just for the two of them.

For a moment he thought about what he could do to make this spar more interesting. "What do you say to a little wager. Like first to score two points has to provide a meal for the other. There is no backing out once decided." He said with a grin. Nishu already had the advantage, he wasn't sure if she would really accept that bet, but he threw it out there wanting to see what she would have in mind.
Nishu's been fighting since birth then. Rain things back to what she was doing when she was growing up. All she can remember is play fighting with her siblings. Her favorite game was one they called 'defend the pack'. One of her siblings would be a rabid wolf and the other pups had to defeat them without being bitten. If they were bitten then that pup would turn rabid. It was a fun game, Rain had become a rabid pup almost every time though. Her dodging abilities back then were close to zero. She smiles at the memories of her clumsy self as a pup.

She comes back to the present as Nishu suggests a wager making her grin. "
I'm all up for it. Though you already have one point." Little does he know that she is a horrible hunter. Any meal she can catch for them will be too small to fill them up. She may be able to catch a couple of rabbits if she can find some.

Tensing she lunges to the right of him, turns and reaches out with her jaws towards his side. Rain knows that he was probably already expecting some sort of sudden attack so she keeps her body ready to jump away if he strikes back. She hopes he wins just so they can have a good meal, but she won't go easy on him just for that. She would like to win to show him that she is strong.
Maybe it wasn't the best idea to have the winner do the chore. It didn't fit the purpose of a gamble. But Nishu wasn't interested in making Rain lose. He wanted to see her will. If she was only focused on winning the bet she wouldn't fight anymore. That would lead to a disappointment. The fight here was to show strength under the moon. He had created a win/lose situation which something Nishu had to know how to deal with. It's impossible to have a complete win without a little lost somewhere. His trainers made sure that he understood that. "Being stronger comes with more responsibilities. Are you really up for it?" He said with a smile. He sounded like one of his teachers he sparred with. He could never forget those words.

The moment he heard a change in her stepping and rotated towards her direction. He turned to quickly and caused a misstep which made his stance off balance. It was too late to do recover from his mistake. It forced Rain to go for his left side. Only due to his fighting experience he had the reflex to let himself fall and then push on the ground with all his legs thursting his back towards her front legs in attempt to trip her over him.

Maybe he shouldn't have tried showing off a bit but that didn't stop him from fighting as he usually does. Even if he wins, catching something for her wasn't a problem at all. He already had an idea of where to start hunting. The challenge would be catching something for the two of them, and that he was up for it.
She has no reckoning of how he had managed it, but she now finds herself falling over him. A gasp escapes as her side thuds against the hard rock. Holding back a squeal she jumps to here paws, and then takes a pause. "Would you consider that another point for you? If so then this fight is over and you win." She hopes he does not consider that a point. Their fight is short lived if so, but a growl from her stomach tells her that perhaps they should go hunting. Taking a glance at the moon she thinks about how their fight and a good hunt can be all for it. Full moon's are always busy nights, she wonders if every wolf does the same.

He will be hunting for her if this is the end of it then. She gazes at him with admiration and something else. Something she doesn't wish to admit too. The flicker in her gaze only lasts a moment before she looks away from him. This wolf does things to her, things that he may not even realize. His path is far different than hers though, she needs to keep things under control. She feels like she is hoping for something that could never be, but still she holds onto the hope of what could be. Maybe she is foolish to do so, but she can't deny what feelings stir in her heart.
Rain would have likely scored a point if he had done anything else to recover from his misstep. Although both were down for a moment, none managed to score a point. Nishu quickly hopped back onto his paws, ready to make an assault towards Rain. The growl from her stomach stopped him. He took a deep breath and relaxed, no longer in any combat stance. He stood tall and grined. "No, that wasn't a point for me. You have to hold the other down in order to score." Then after seeing her eyes sparkle he couldn't help but try to keep an imagine of their beauty in his mind but her gaze didn't last long enough for him to admire it.

If Rain was hungry then she wasn't at her fullest. He would rather continue when she is at her highest strength. "Lets put a pause on this spar for now. Wouldn't you want to get something to eat before settling down for the night? Shouldn't be too hard to find something nearby. Up for a midnight hunt under the moon?" Then he looked up at the moon.

So, the night started off with Rain singing her song to the moon, yes Rain as the goddess of the moon. He kinda wondered if she looked like the one in the past, The wolf who became the moon long ago. It was such a long time ago that surely no one really knows. But together the pair sparred in honor of her and then a little hunt before the night ends. This is bound to be a special night that Nishu will remember for a long time. He did notice that he was spending more and more time with Rain. He enjoyed it but did it really forfill his duties? As long as he is with her she was safe. He felt happy to be her Knight. For now, Nishu took it as a bonus. Compared to the Sound it was better but the same problem from before appeared. Would he be able to freely leave once his contract was done? Unlike at the Sound this matter was more at heart.
Rain nods her head to Nishu in agreement saying, "A hunt sounds good to me." She paws at the grey male before her with a smile. "We can finish our spar after?" As much as she would love to finish their spar now, especially after the long wait of having one, food sounds really good to her. "Would you like to lead or shall I? She asks him. Rain doesn't mind who leads the hunt as long as they catch something. She hopes something larger than the rabbit she usually goes after. She would enjoy feasting on a deer.

Her breath is coming in heavy from their short fight, but it catches for a moment as she continues to look at Nishu. She admires the strength beneath his coat, the ripple of muscle. She has the urge to nuzzle him and hesitates, not knowing if it was something she should do. She clears her throat a little and looks up at the moon, watching Nishu from the corner of her eye. What is wrong with her? An ear flicks. Was there something wrong with the small feeling that is starting to show for him? She shakes her head, smiling softly to herself. How foolish. He wouldn't feel the same.
Looking off the cliff's edge he managed to determine where he could find a hunting target. There was abit of distance to get over before coming in range of a target. Turning to looking at Rain he smiled. "I'll lead the charge" The wind blew towards the direction he was counting on going. "I'm sure there is something over there we can hunt." He said with confidense, but that didn't mean there was really some over there.

"Lets go!" He jumped down from the edge and landed heavily into the snow. The distance was enough to delay a sudden sprint since he need a moment to recover from his landing. Before running he watched for Rain to see if she was following or going around. He remained where he landed, watching and thinking for a moment. Challenging a large prey was always something he enjoyed but they were never alone which made even more challenging. But that wasn't going to be a problem. Rain was going to be with him so he will have to do his best.
Nishu jumps from the ledge of the cliff to land in the snow below with a slight sprint. Rain moves to follow him, nearly tripping over herself as she lands. This will be a fun hunt, she wishes that others of the pack could join them. It has been a while since she has been involved with a pack hunt. She remembers how good it felt knowing that the pack was around her. That they all hunted as one and for each other so that they could survive. It is what she longed for, the feeling of being one with a pack. The Sunspire is a very lonely place in her opinion. It isn't often that she comes across pack members nor do they do much together as a pack. A conversation here and there maybe, but nothing like what should be done. Though she has Nishu now. He is as close to her as a pack should be and that warms her. Rain is happy that she has him now. It is not so lonely with a shadow protecting her and keeping her company. She will do all she can to protect him as well, and to help him reach his goals as he is doing for her. She smiles at him, indicating with a slight nod of her head for him to lead on.
