@Wyeth @Mara will we be spreeing? Cause I have so much muse... Wyeth I am assuming he followed n stuff. Mara please tell me if I describe the gorge incorrectly.

Runt led Wyeth to the new gorge. With a glance back at him to make sure he was watching where to place his paws, she went down the path into the gorge. It was difficult to get in unless you knew the entrance, and it could easily be overlooked. Finally after finding her way down the rocky wall, she set paw at the gorge's floor. "Mara!" She called out loudly, and it echoed off the walls. "C'mere, Mara! There's someone ya need ta meet!" She yelled loudly into the open space. She glanced up at Wyeth. "She should be here in a minute." She told him, then looking out across the gorge for the alpha-to-be.

Wyeth's keen eyes did not miss anything, he observed and absorbed every detail he saw, he memorised the route Runt took him through and made sure if he ever went out of the gorge, he would know the way back in. The path down to the gorge was difficult to locate and find which was good, they didn't want enemies to know the entrance to his pack, his new home. Pretty sure he had memorised everything, the cinnamon agouti paused beside Runt and waited as she called for the Alpha, Mara.

Tigerheart gave Runt a nod to show he heard what she said, then began to observe the area he was in. Being a warrior had trained him to always be aware of his surroundings, so if he was going to live here, he would need to know what this area was like in case he had to fight battles here. And if he did, the warrior would have an advantage.

Yass, spree! And yeah, I think you did a pretty good job, but I was envisioning it with more trees :3

Hearing the call of her friend, Mara's russet ears perked and she got to her paws, starting off towards her voice. Weaving her way in and out of the trunks, she spotted Runt, as well as a large male, at the bottom of the trail. She shook her head at the fact that Runt had shown someone the trail without being sure that they wanted to join the pack. If someone decided that they wanted to go join the spine any time soon and shared the gorge's location, they could be in trouble. She would have to explain that to her friend later on.

Stepping out of the trees, her steely eyes studied the newcomer carefully. He was handsome, that was plain to see. With a strong build and a regal face, she was sure that he would make a good addition to the pack.

The normally outspoken girl remained rather quiet as she approached the pair. Nodding to Runt, she left her gaze on the male behind her. "Who's your friend?" she asked almost sarcastically.
cool table! And yay a spree :)

Runt watched the girl approach. She nodded towards the man. "This is Wyeth. Or Tigerheart. He wants to be a part of the pack, one of it's founders." She told Mara. "And from how he's acted, he seems like he would make a fine member." She said. He had seemed respectful, kind- he'd described that he was strong and fierce but still kindhearted when he was introducing his nickname. She knew Mara would need new pack founders any way, and Runt didn't think letting him see the path was a big deal. He had said he wanted to help found the pack.
thanks lol, I figured Mars would suit him.

The soon to be Alpha, Mara soon came. She was small compared to his own size, with deep rust colored fur and large gray eyes. She addressed Runt, her words almost sarcastic, he supposed one would be warier of trusting strangers after being kicked out of a pack with a horrible Alpha. Wyeth did not speak, instead waited for Runt to introduce himself. "And from how he's acted, he seems like he would make a fine member." she'd seen the better side of him, in battle, sometimes he would drown in bloodlust and appear to become a killing machine. Now, he controlled his temper and rarely did it ever happen, but it was still there and it was hard to control, it was like a bomb, ready to go off any second.

Tigerheart dipped his head respectfully to Mara, Hello milady, he spoke quietly in a lightly accented voice. I am Wyeth, Wyeth Innisfree but most wolves call me Tigerheart. I don't mind either name. The cinnamon agouti's posture was neutral, if slightly submissive, after all he didn't know if Mara was going to accept him at all. I wish to join and help found your pack.

Just an idea, but I can see Wyeth and Mara having a sorta love/hate relationship :P Also, I changed Mara's personality a bit, so if something seems a bit off about the way she acts, I put it in her profile :3

The soon to be alphess eyed the multi-colored man as Runt spoke. Her storm hued eyes flittered to Runt for half a second when she spoke of how he acted before. Her friend definitely seemed to think highly of him, and she did need more wolves willing to follow her, but the tiny crimson girl was still a bit weary of Wyeth. Or Tigerheart. The fact that he had two names confused Mara slightly, but she didn't let her face show it. In fact, she didn't let her face show anything.

He seemed respectful and his stance showed that he didn't wish to harm anyone, that he was even a little bit submissive.

Going back to the fact that one of her most trusted friends, one that had been through a lot at the paws of other, seemed to think that this wolf was an okay guy, she decided it was worth a shot.

The way he called her milady made the slightly immature she-wolf smirk, her steely façade coming down.

"I appreciate the respect, but calling me milady makes me feel old" she joked, a little of her old humor coming to the surface as her eyes sparkled mischievously.
Runt stood awkwardly to the side as Tigerheart introduced himself and his case. Mara, instead of addressing whether he would be accepted, simply told him that milady made her feel old. She waited a moment to see if Mara would accept him, but she didn't continue. "Well? Is he in?" She asked. She was eager to have a warrior mentor, someone she could have friendly spars with instead of near death every time she fought. She was sick of all the scars and wounds- she loved fighting, but it was not fun when you risked your life every time.
Gotta go after this post...

A smile touched the warrior's lips, Its an old habit, he explained. I'll stop if you want me to, but then, what will you have me call you? The agouti male was not insulted at all by her words, even if someone insulted him, he wouldn't even care. The life of scars, betrayal and bloodshed had caused him to build a wall around him, to protect him emotionally and mentally. Runt's impatience drew a larger smile out of him, and even a small chuckle. Eager, aren't ya?

The youth's eagerness was one of a kind, but by the looks of it, he would need to train her to be patient. A warrior needed to be patient, his father hammered it into him but before that, he had been a very annoying, impatient apprentice and Tigerheart knew that Runt would probably be like him.

Olive eyes twinkling, he turned to Mara, respectfully averting his gaze to avoid eye contact. Runt told me about the Spine, I have no wish to join them. Wyeth said, I will pledge myself to the pack and yourself, if you'll have me. Casting Runt a friendly smile, Tigerheart turned back to the soon to be Alphess And Runt needs a mentor.

Aww no :'(

Mara smiled at Runt's excitement. When Wyeth voiced her fears about the spine, Mara shot a sharp glance at Runt. Yet another thing she had told him about. Turning her gaze back to Wyeth, she felt her smile twitch a bit at the mention of him becoming Runt's mentor. After watching over her for so long, Mara felt very protective of the pup. She was like her little sister and she felt like by letting Wyeth mentor her, that she was giving Runt away.

But she could see the admiration in her eyes as she looked at Wyeth. Maybe she could let it slide, just this once.

"You can call me what ever you want, just so long as it doesn't sound old." she said, faking seriousness. "And I except your offer. Welcome to the gorge." she finished. This one was interesting, it would be fun getting to know him.
She was eager, eager to start training her skills already. Her eyes lit up when Tigerheart said the part about a mentor. Runt shrugged at shot a glance back at Mara that read, what? She knew exactly what, but she didn't see the problem with it, if he was gonna be accepted in the next few moments anyway. Her tail wagged a little when Mara officially accepted him into the to-be-pack. And she couldn't wait for this pack to begin and stuff to really start happening.
Shall we finish up with one more round?

From the look of Mara, she seemed to be a yearling, maybe just over a year old but younger than him. He was sure she was younger than him, it didn't matter right now, he would see how well she could lead a pack and offer her some advice if she needed it. Wyeth was not of high rank currently, just a loner with a band of rogues who were going to create a pack, and even when the pack was created, he doubted he would be more than a subordinate immediately. The cinnamon agouti was just as ambitious as the next wolf, and perhaps deep inside him, he thought he could have demanded a higher rank, but he didn't.

Young as he was, Tigerheart was not so foolish to believe things should be handed to him in such a manner, he knew that things like that came with time and effort. But he did not join the soon to be pack to become a leader, he joined because he wanted the comradeship of a pack and a family. If he was to be promoted to the leadership tier later on, the wolf of the sea would gladly accept the role, but he did not strive to become one, the only thing he wanted was for the pack and his packmates to be safe, and for this pack to thrive.

Too many times had he joined a pack and have the leader flee off to somewhere, leaving the pack in chaos, leaving them with the only option of disbanding. Other leaders simply vanished, or died, and when he tried to step up, the other wolves were too scared and they all left willingly. It hardened his heart and whenever he joined another pack, it was after careful thinking and analysing, wondering if the Alpha would stay and make sure the pack thrived. Wyeth had no intention of the Gorge crumbling into ruins, if Mara ever left and nobody stepped up, he would, because he would not stand and watch another pack he joined disband.

"You can call me whatever you want, just so long as it doesn't sound old." a smile twitched at his lips at those words, but he did not reply. Wyeth had never been one of words, but rather of action. "And I accept your offer. Welcome to the gorge." Tigerheart tilted his head towards her politely, Thank you Mara, the shadow of a smirk touched his lips, I suppose its alright if I call you Mara right? No old ladiness? It was all out of good fun, besides, the cinnamon agouti was sure the female could take a joke, and the fact that it was a joke was evident in his twinkling green gold eyes.

Tigerheart straightened up, leaving his tail in a neutral position, his stoic mask closing in again and with birdlike cant of his head he spoke I'll go and explore my soon to be home, any of you want to come with me?

Sounds good to me :)

Mara chuckled lightly at his response to her name and she nodded, confirming that that was perfect. Turning her head to Runt, the dainty she wolf shot her a smirk.

"Happy now, miss impatient?" She teased. When Wyeth spoke of going to exploring the territory, the soon to be leader shook her head. She had a lot on her plate and unfortunately, exploring was not something she had time for at the moment. But it was important. "If you find anything useful or interesting, let me know, k?" she instructed Wyeth. It would be extremely helpful if someone else could do the discovering for her.

She nodded a good bye at the pair and turned back to the rock ledge from which she had come. "It was very nice to meet you, but I really should get going. Duty calls!" she joked, flicking her russet ears before disappearing behind the bend in the wall.
Her cheeks heated as Mara teased her lightly. She grinned a little and glanced at Mara. At first her smug thoughts were, why is she in such a hurry to leave? But she realized Mara, as an alpha-to-be, probably did have things to see too. Runt did too. For now, even though there were no caches, prey still needed to be hunted. "Feel free ta look around! See ya later, Tigerheart!" She said with a grin, before she dashed towards the exit of the gorge to hunt.
Tigerheart nodded, amused at the fact that Runt seem to prefer using his nickname rather than using his real name. It was good, he supposed, to have a change. Besides, the cinnamon agouti quite like his tiger nickname and it was great to have someone who preferred to use that rather than his boring given name. Wyeth has to thank his parents though, because his name was better than some others, those were just plain weird.

Turning around, Wyeth began trotting in the direction of the river, deciding to take a look around his new home and get used to his surroundings.
