And so Audrey III became a pack member. Kind of. Not yet. The pack was still in the making; the territory explored, boundaries set, food caches to set....and later raid. Ah yes, Audrey would definitely spend his time by those caches, perhaps even set aside a little cache of his own. Yes, that was what he would do: find a secret place to hoard his own food.

The goliath made his way down to said gorge where the pack would make their home. It was not his style, that was for sure. It was small, cramped, not only for someone his height, but someone his weight as well.

Audrey found this out the hard way. When trying to slip his way into the gorge and traverse past the river, he got stuck between the rock walls around his midriff. "You've gotta be shittin' me..." The wolf-dog snarled as he gripped the ground and tried to pull his fat ass through.
Runt had slipped out of the gorge after Tigerheart had been accepted. Even though she was eager to start her training, he had some exploring to do and she had some hunting to do. She had gone out and hunted, coming back with two little brown rabbits stuffed in the space between her jaws. She needed to find some convenient cache spaces as well, she noted. As she came towards the entrance a very odd thing was sticking out. It was a butt. And a tail. The canine snarled as he struggled to get through. "Havin' trouble?" She chuckled smoothly, as smoothly as one could with two rabbits stuffed in their mouth. "And more importantly, why are ya here?" She asked coolly with a questioning tilt of her head, despite the fact that he couldn't see her yet.
@Runt I'm back!

The behemoth growled softly as he tried to squeeze himself through the narrow entrance, wincing in pain as the rocks crushed him slightly. His ears perked as the wolf-dog heard a muffled voice behind him, and he turned slightly to amplify his voice towards the unknown female. "Nooo shit, Sherlock!" He hissed, eyes narrowing with annoyance. "I'm here because a little red wolf asked me to come join this pack of hers. And I'm assumin' that you're anotha one of those pack wolves." Audrey wriggled, waggling his large buttocks and tail and pushing with his hind legs. "Now be a pal and help me through, would ya!?"

Her brow arched higher as an amused grin filled her face. This big wolf dog was funny for some reason.
"Look, brah, I'll try my best. But I don't know if I'll be able ta get someone as big as ya outta there. By the way, the small red wolf was Mara. I suppouse I'll get your name after I get ya outta here." She chuckled. She placed the rabbits behind her. Then Runt reached forward and sharply nipped his hind ankles. She hopped it would hurt enough to propel him forward fast, fast enough to free his overweight self from the entrance into the gorge.
His mouth opened for some final retort, but was silenced and quickly forgotten by the sudden sharp pains at his ankles. The wolf-dog growled in pain, kicking out at the miniscule wolf but only hitting air and the ground. The bites had the desired effects, at first, propelling him forward slightly...that was until the rocks hit a meatier part of his body. "Shit..." he hissed out the curse, frustrated at his predicament.

She leaped back as he kicked wildly. Runt was almost glad when he began to move, but her hopes plummeted to the bottom of a pit when he seemed to get stuck even worse. She sighed loud and dramatically.
"Ya are what ya eat. I guess ya eat fat dogs." She chuckled quietly. Oh well. Hopefully he wasn't too self-conscious about his weight. Instead she leaned around him and, using her jaws, tried to yank some stones out that weren't a firm part of the stone wall. Like any stones near him that could be wedged between him and the wall. There wasn't a lot of space though. She hummed a quiet catchy tune as she worked. It was difficult, and work went slowly, but hopefully it was making some progress. He could help her out by continuing to push himself forward, so if a rock came out that triggered his escape, he could go. She didn't want to be here right now though, getting some fat dude out of a pickle.
The loner chuckled darkly at the girl's comment on him eating fat dogs. "I'll eat anything I can get. And anything that is bothering me, like you are right now, girlie." The wolf-dog snorted, biting his lip as he felt the tight, squeezing pain around his hips. He could feel the rocks digging deep into his sides, and felt a slight wetness as well. Was he bleeding? Just his luck.

The other wolf began helping him out some more, pulling rocks away from the rockface. He tried to wiggle himself free some more as the space between him and the rocks expanded, feeling himself slowly but surely squeeze out. Just a few more rocks and he would be home free.

Runt snorted at his words. Surely this dude wasn't a cannibal. He wouldn't eat her.
"And I'll kill anythin' that gets in my way, like ya are right now." She mimicked him in an annoying deep voice. She was only mimicking, so her words were only half true. Had Orange gotten in her way? No, he'd gotten in Jupiter's way of being Alpha. Killing that jerk slavemaster Beta had only been for the best interests of the slaves and the pack. Jupiter had had a brighter future for the young slaves. And then Coal had ruined it by finding out about the murder of his Beta. Too bad. Runt shook away the deep thoughts and reached forward, her strong jaws finding a rock and throwing it in a growing pile near her. Slow progress, but for a good cause (hopefully).
He chuckled again at the girl's little joke, the noise coming from between strained teeth. He kept pulling his girth as the woman pulled more loose rocks from the rockside. Luckily, he was actually moving, inch by inch, but that stopped when he hissed in pain, feeling a liquid trickle down his haunches. Something had cut him, digging deep into the malleable skin. "Hurry up, man! This is gettin' pretty painful..."

She could see just in front of his hind leg, below his side, was a tiny crimson pool. Great. She didn't wanna be responsible for Jade having to be healing this wound for the next half month.
"What's your name, by the way? Hey, when I say 'go', shoot forward as fast as possible no matta what." She told him. She was pretty sure she'd found the problem. Removing the smaller ones had helped, but one large rock jutted out, also digging into his side. It looked sort of loose, but she wasn't sure. A good strong hard whack would probably crack it off, if she hit hard enough. It might hurt though. She went over at an angle where she could reach it from above. She gently tapped it with her paw, practicing so she would aim right. Then with a final swing higher above her head, she slammed it down with a loud crack. Hitting the stone that hard hurt her leg, but she'd be okay. "Go!" She shouted loudly as soon as she heard the crack. Hopefully this would work without splitting his side open.
"Audrey III. Just Audrey is fine." He gritted between his teeth. So the girl finally found a way to get him loose? Took her long enough. The former pitdog growled, awaiting the signal, and when it came, he surged forward as a large rock was broken off. After a few seconds of straining, Audrey managed to get out of the rock face and through the other side. He panted, turning to lick at his wounds before he turned to greet his savior face-to-face. "Damn. You're small. A little bubbeleh."

Runt smirked.
"Audrey III? A junior, huh?" She chuckled at the thought of such a big guy being a junior. Even a passed down name was better than 'runt'. "Yeah, yeah, and you're really fat. But I already noticed that, huh? Anyway. Be more careful tryin' ta get through the entrance into the gorge itself. Next time I ain't gonna be here ta save ya." She said with a roll of her eyes. She wondered how the guy had earned Mara's respect or trust or anything that would've motivated her to let this dude in.
