(Sorry this is short)
Seska paced about fifteen feet away from the packs border on aching paws, his bright eyes scanning the area nervously. He licked his muzzle, debating turning around and leaving. Swallowing deeply he let out a weak, broken, quiet howl, growling at himself with growing frustration. He paced some more, figuring no one would have been able to hear him. He sat down with a determined look. He pointed his muzzle to the sky and let out another howl, putting all his malnourished frame had into it. Once he stopped he stood, backing another few feet away from the border, sitting down again, shifting his weight nervously between his paws.
hope you don't mind me popping in! :D

.Flash was padding along the borders, breathing in the fresh air. The air was still and dense, yet the sun-touched male could sense prey somewhere. Right on cue, he spotted two hares chewing on some still unfrozen grass. In spring, summer and autumn he could stalk among the greens, yet in winter, his golden pelt stuck out like a burr. He padded as close as possible, and charged at them. He was only about fifteen paces away from them before the started running.

But he was still a wolf, and he was much much bigger. He caught up to them quite easily, slamming one of his paws into one's skull then leaping on the other. Both were dead within a couple of seconds. Not bad for winter hunting, he thought happily as he ripped into one. But then he realised, a small white and grey shape was crouching in the snow, right outside the borders. It was a pup, a small cold and hungry pup. It was trying to howl, but it was quiet. Due to hunger?

“Hello. Are you okay?" he padded closer, concern taking over his brain. It was a pup, god damn it, he couldn't leave a pup out in the snow to freeze. He nudged the scraps of the hare he was eating towards it. “Do you want something to eat?"

Seska had his head bowed, not focusing on his surroundings, lost in his own hopeful thoughts. The ground was cold and hard under his paws and he was starting to get uncomfortable and restless, shifting around and pawing at the dirt. He sighed softly, lifting his head and tilting it as he saw movement out of the corner of his eye. He stood, turning and watching as he saw a blur of golden fur. His eyes grew in admiration as the larger male quickly killed two hares. He stood slowly as he realized the other had seen him, and bowed his head submissively.

"H-Hello" he said softly, watching the bigger wolf warily, nodding quickly when asked if he was okay. He watched as the other pushed the meat towards him, looking up and tilting his head slightly, unsure if he was serious or not. But shortly his hunger got the best of him. "Thank you" he said gratefully before taking a rather large bite, not fully realizing how hungry he had been.
Post order is now Seska, Shadow, Flash

Shadow had been patrolling his borders as usual, keen silver eyes keeping a lookout for intruders of all sorts. In this cold merciless season, you could trust no one but your packmates, and sometimes you couldn't trust your own packmates for fear they might be spies from another pack. Or that might just be him being overly suspicious, it was natural after all those times of being betrayed. And the Roman was going to make sure it didn't happen again, that his pack was loyal to him and their own only.

Then he heard a howl, it was weak and feeble and showed no promise but it was a leader's duty to attend to such things so he trotted towards the direction of the howl, arriving soon. It was a Juvenile, ragged and thin, obviously malnourished. Honestly, didn't anyone know how to take care of themselves nowadays? And if it was seeking entrance to his pack, well, he had to prove himself, a lot. And Shadow seriously doubted it and was half going to chase the youth away before deciding to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Shadow came soon enough to see Flash approaching the pathetic bundle and offering him some of his prey. Immediately, a deep growl sought to slip pass his lips but he suppressed it, instead approached in a calm manner. A dangerous glint in his platinum gaze and a smirk touching his lips. I remember the day when someone trespassed and a loyal wolf howled for me while the other sought to guide the intruder out peacefully. the Roman drawled slowly. Now, I see the same wolf feeding a stranger prey, prey that he probably hasn't earned. Prey that the pack so desperately needs.

.It was obviously nervous. Where was it's parents? who would be so cruel to leave their pup alone in winter? Flash didn't think anybody could be cruel enough to just leave their kid around. Were they hunting? But then one of them would be with him or he would be tucked up somewhere safely. Had they abandoned him? Who would just do that?

The pup seemed to realise Flash wouldn't harm him as he took a huge bite of the hare. It was more calmed down. What's your name? Where are your parents? A kiddo like you shouldn't be alone to face the dangers of winter. Flash gently muttered. If you parents aren't here, would you like to join my pack for a while? We could take care you you.

Shadow had arrived. Was that ager glinting in his eyes? Flash thought he would have enough compassion. This was a PUP for Apollo's sake. Who could just ignore it? It was a pup, it barely knew what life was. Flash was just torn. Torn between loyalty, and compassion.

"I remember the day when someone trespassed and a loyal wolf howled for me while the other sought to guide the intruder out peacefully. Now, I see the same wolf feeding a stranger prey, prey that he probably hasn't earned. Prey that the pack so desperately needs."

Shadow I...I... It's a pup. And the part of the hare he was eating was my share for the day. I gave it to him. I've been hunting the entire day, there's another hare back there. The tawny male stuttered, pointing in the direction of the other hare, which layed in sight. It was my share. Not anybody else's. And I chose to give it to his poor hungry pup. Punish me if you must. But let him free. The tawny male could only bow his head and hoped for some compassion.

Seska ate a few more bites, but he didn't want to eat all of the strangers meal, so he stepped back a little. "My names Seska" he said, a little more confidence seeping into his voice now that he realized the other wouldn't hurt him. "And my parents don't want me." His tone was hurt, but resentful as he said this, looking down. He perked up at the offer of joining his pack, but before he could say anything another wolf arrived, and if Seska wasn't mistaken he looked angry.
He quietly listened as they spoke. He tilted his head, he hadn't meant to get the the stranger in trouble. He wanted to say something, say that it was his fault, and the other shouldn't be punished for it. But he feared angering the new wolf, Shadow he gathered, further. After a short internal battle he decided to speak up. He waited until the one who had helped him had stopped talking. "Sir" he began, facing Shadow, "I mean no disrespect, but I don't think he should get in trouble for this" he said, trying to sound confident "It's my fault. I took the food and if anyone should get in trouble for it it should be me".

The Roman watched coldly as Flash offered an explanation of why he gave a stranger food. That wolf was old enough already, it was almost the size of an adult. Surely he knew how to hunt, a loner might not be able to hunt large prey but he should be able to feed himself on small prey. The youth's frame was ragged and he was obviously malnourished, what had gotten him to this state? "Shadow I...I... It's a pup. And the part of the hare he was eating was my share for the day. I gave it to him. I've been hunting the entire day, there's another hare back there." But the sun touched male's words did not placate the Roman, his eyes remained as cold as ever, the smirk still dancing on his lips.

Its not a pup, its a young wolf nearing his adult years, someone who should know how to feed himself. Shadow's icy gaze turned to look at the youth, though it warmed ever so slightly at the sight of the youngster. Despite his cold and merciless exterior, the silver Praetor was not one to leave a helpless young wolf to die in these bare lands. He listened as the stranger made to defend his subordinate and just by his attitude, knew he would be a valuable asset. If he could prove he had skills. It is not your fault, youngster. You did not attack him and take the food did you? No, he gave it to you.

Shadow turned to Flash, a tired smile breaking through his mask and he shook his head in mock exasperation. Gods of Rome, promise me this is one of the only times you'll ever giveaway needed food. Or I'll be forced to punish you. He leaned forward to touch his nose to the tawny male's cheek before withdrawing and taking a few steps closer to the malnourished boy. You're in a bad shape alright kid.

Sorry for the wait @Seska

. Flash bowed his head in shame. Shadow was right, the pup was almost an adult, who should be capable of taking care of himself. But as he dared to look up slightly, he saw that Shadow wasn't going to leave the pup alone. Yes! Flash mentally cheered, if he was getting punished, as least it wasn't in vain.

Shadow muttered to the pup telling him it wasn't his fault. As this, Flash hung his head again. Shame burn upon his head. Why had he been so foolish. Maybe if he just called for Shadow to decide what to do, this wouldn't be happening and the tawny male might have avoided any punishment at all. Gods of rome, why today?

"Gods of Rome, promise me this is one of the only times you'll ever giveaway needed food. Or I'll be forced to punish you."

Flash bolted upright.I'll go hunting again. Now I mean... Flash trailed off, glad that he wasn't in trouble and the pup might have a future in Noctisardor Bypass.

Dipping his head to Shadow, he retreated, leaving the hare on the ground as an obvious sacrifice for the alpha. Backing off and giving the pup an encouraging nod over his shoulder, he leap out of sight and back into the forest, breathing in the cold, sharp winter air.
