It had only been a couple days after Crescendo had drawn his own daughters blood, scarred her and left her for dead. Bored, he sat and carefully extended a single wickedly sharp claw. Face impassive, he turned and slowly drew a claw through the smooth bark. The huge male lowered his black paw and gazed upon his work, his symbol. A spiral with a line down the center. A smile slowly lit up his handsome face, silver eyes glowing wickedly. The same mark he carved into wolves, that in his mind, were his. One day, he would find his plaything, and break her.
@Dovev
hey, just let me know how you want this to play out/preferred fighting style!

The night was one frosty cloak that toyed with the breath pouring from Dovev's parted lips. A permenant cloud seemed to trail from his jaws, a simpering ghost that stubbornly stalked after the white wolf's silent movements. For the wolf was in no hurry, and instead his focus was solely on the purpose of blending in.

It wasn't like the creature could just meld into the darkness, allowing his body to shift into something unnatural- no, the wolf had his presence of ivory fur that seemed to shine even in moonless nights. It was a dull but visible sort of hue, dampened by the impending cold and outlining a solid appearance of tone and bawdy strength that always seemed to smirk upon his lips.

His southward bound direction had turned Dovev away from the open meadow and into the oddly quiet pine forests that nestled along sloping, rocky ridges of the mountains on either side. He loved the silence that winter brought, hiding away creatures that would normally be awake even at this hour. It made him come to a reveling stop, pearly eyes closed and his ears tilted to the soft reverberations of leaves hushed in the chilling atmosphere.
Lets start the fight, and we can work out injuries as we go?

Crescendo watched as a pale shadow wove through the trees, and smiled when he recognized the scent. "Hey you!" He called out, grinning. "Looking for another one of your lost pack mates? Your pack is like a fucking herd of sheep!" He chuckled loudly, alerting the other to his location. His eyes glinted coldly, he was still full of energy after killing (or so he thought) his bitch of a daughter. He could still taste her sweet, thick blood.
sure lets just jump into it haha

It was an immediate response, a quick switch of lights that Dovev's eyes snapped back open, a steely glint as the words echoed out from the trees. He hadn't known that the Creek's little misfit neighbors were patrolling this far north, but whoever had hid his simpering little voice in the woods was obviously one of them.

No. I wasn't looking for anyone.

The wolf stood bare among the darkened, wintry forest, motionless and a grim statue mask in his appearance. This was most likely Star's aggressor by the brazen tone, and Dovev didn't expect his luck to win out in a situation like this. But, he wouldn't let his anger that was being boil steam out of control... as much as he would have liked to. Instead, the wolf lifted his chin and stared eagerly in the direction the stranger had heckled him from, silently beckoning him to make the first move.
Crescendo melted from the shadows, appearing a few feet in front of the pale one. He was glad to notice that he was taller then the silver brute, but he too looked strong and healthy. "Does she appreciate the little gift I gave her? I hope she always remembers her master." The insults and cruel words rolled of his tongue. He stood at his full height, his tail held high and his ears shoved forward confidently. "We had lots of fun in those caves...I bet she misses me."

There was no time to judge his actions, but the arctic was questioning the integrity of it all. Obviously, this devil of a creature was the perpetrator of Star's wounds, kidnappings, and part of the pack that had attack that Creek patrol. He himself hadn't been a part of anything- yet it would be his fight to pick because the fact that these morons had dared lay a dagger on his pack had enraged him so.

Only the slight bristling of Dovev's shoulders showed before the wolf turned to the left, sliding his back paws to quickly change his body in one motion. Throwing himself forward, the wolf opted to snake close to the ground rather than jump, aiming for clasping his jaws on the underside of his aggressor's neck. It was a brazen attack, but Dovev needed this creature to move in order for him to judge and plan out his series of attacks- with the end result of ripping his face off.
The male opted to slither toward Crescendo like a snake, so Crescendo decided decided to crush him like a snake. Rearing up on his back legs, Crescendo waited until the other came closer before thundering down, hoping to crush the male like a bug. His huge size would be an advantage in this situation, Crescendo noted with glee.

Silver eyes glinted with an almost mad blood lust, the same look that had terrified many, including Star and Tempest. As always, crescendo hoped to give more wounds then he got.

One of the few things going for Dovev was his expertise- the male was no stranger to fighting, and had been involved in many in his yearlong history at Glacier. It didn't mean the male knew the outcome of this battle, but he could pour all of his experience into it.

When Crescendo rose up onto his paws, Dovev pushed himself onto his own to meet the creature in a two-legged stance. He felt the raven male's front feet fall onto his shoulders, but with his legs splayed and placed squarely on the ground. Lunging out, Dovev punched with his forefeet whilst opening his jaws to aim for the wolf's neck.
The brute's forelegs opened up jagged, shallow cuts on Crescendo's stomach. Howling in outrage, Crescendo barreled into the males stomach, forelegs ready to cut flesh and maw open to bite it. At point blank range, Crescendo knew one of his attacks had to land. His own stomach was wet with blood, the dark beast turned crimson. He didn't think, simply thought.

Crescendo would later remember the silver one as a good fighter, in his opinion much better then Kieran or something, he had never really remembered the males name. Shouts during the battle had given him an idea of who was who, but he didn't remember names. He remembered scars.

Although his nails had embedded into the stranger's chest, Dovev was knocked back down onto his side, and felt teeth into his upper chest. Although the male's paws missed, the ivory wolf could feel skin tearing. He writhed, aiming to loose himself with the sporadic motion and spring back up onto his paws.

Blood was beginning to seep onto his ivory fur and the wolf let out a snarl, feeling the burns of the fang wounds. Dovev wondered if this idiot ate shit or something, because the bite marks could easily become infected. Riled, the Creek wolf sprung forward again, opting to come in from the side versus a direct confrontation. He was aiming to slam into Crescendo's shoulder and throw him off balance so that Dovev could grab his scruff and pin him down.
Lets wrap up!

Crescendo spun away, leaping a few feet away from the Swiftcurrent wolf. His wounds stung, but he could care for them later. It wasn't that he didn't want to continue the fight, just that he didn't want to waste any blood on a fight like this one. If the male wanted to continue the fun, however, Crescendo wouldn't stop him.

"You fight well, for a sheep. Lets call it a tie, before one of us dies." he admitted grudgingly. Of course not as good as him, (In his mind) but still good. His lust for a fight had faded, but a lust for...something else...had replaced it.

He panted, eyes still cold, but with a little bit of respect in them. "You would go far in a strong pack, like Blackfeather. Consider it." with a whirl, he trotted with in the direction that he had come, mind on a certain fae he had yet to greet...
sure, thanks for the thread!

Their dueling forms had created a large swath of disturbed land, where their paws had churned the dirt and their bodies had rolled in the snow. Dovev's last move fell on empty air and the creature spun, his tail arched high in the air as he faced his opponent, the snarl on his lips.

Dovev knew Crescendo's kind only too well. These shadow lurkers, the self-righteous assassins and bounty hunters that flocked together to form their own little band of killers and psychopaths. With their ebony coats and glaringly bright eyes full of murder, Dovev had always given them a wide berth- not out of safety, but out of disdain.

His opponent had fought well, landing a few bitemarks and scathing claw lines under Dovev's snowy coat. It was good they had ended it there, for the ivory brute would've only kept going until rage to defend had blinded his grey eyes. Crescendo's words echoed on the silent, wintry night air, for Dovev had no intention gratifying his foe with a response. He stood, his own chest panting, as the onyx male turned and whisked away into the night, dissapearing as quickly as he had appeared. After a moment of staring in his direction, Dovev turned and began to trot off in the opposite direction, north towards the Creek.
