@Bindi thought I'd get this up before I head to the gym!

The ball had started rolling. Before it had been a pebble, then it became an unstoppable pebble. The moment he talked to Peregrine it had become a potential reality and now it wasn't going to stop. At least, he hoped it would never stop.

Once again, Silvertip Mountain was his destination and, as the sun began to sink down into the horizon, he realised he didn't want to go anywhere else. Here was pretty darn comfortable. He was slightly worried about the proximity to other packs, but there seemed to be enough space and, if not, there was always the hot springs - another place where Fitz felt pretty comfortable and the river kept Blacktail Deer Plateau at bay.

Feeling pretty at home, he allowed himself a brief snooze as his day dream of establishing a pack exerted itself in his mind.
Bindi had traveled long and far to leave her family behind. Leaving them, meant leaving everything she knew, and it wasn't exactly easy. After the betrayal of her former pack, the black wolfess didn't want to run into them again. So she set of on an adventure to discover new lands, and call them her own.

She was alone, but unlike many wolves, she didn't hide in fear or become a coward when anothers approach. No, that was not Bindi, she was a proud, strong, brave wolfess and let everyone in her path know it. With her head held high, and her stride confident, the female set out to discover these foreign lands called the Teekon Wilds.

After countless days of traveling and getting little sleep, the young female finally had found an abandoned den and settled there. She was a decent hunter and was able to keep her stomach pleased, but she needed something more than just hares, fish, and other small creatures to keep her fed. Already learning that several packs are in the area, Bindi knew to keep low and not to cause attention to herslef. However needing what they have, the young wolfess set off to infiltrate a pack.

What she came across was not what expected, a male, white as snow, lay sleeping? Well that was a stupid idea, the young female thought to herself. Never know what, or who could steak up on you, she added with a smirk crossing her features. Step by step, the female inch closer to the sleeping male. Once she was only a few paces in front of him, she let out a screeching bark. "Wake up" she yelled as high as she could, before falling over laughing at the male. In her mind she hopes he doesn't try to kill her, but if that would be the case, she wouldn't go down without a fight. Being the first wolf she's met since exploring these lands, she didn't know how this wolf would react. So acting like she would back at home, the wolfess introduced herself to the male, Bindi style.
FitzDutiful was used to sleeping in pack lands, but rumours were abound that dangerous dogs lingered and so he had spied the pitch black wolf but feigned his sleep as she approached. He didn't get the impression that she was out to kill - it wasn't as if she was stalking him. In the end, he was right as she just shouted at him instead!

Feigning surprise he "woke up", "Wow, quite a wake up call there!" he said as he looked her over - trying to size up potential recruits for his new pack. Life as lone wolf was hard and it was difficult to catch food with his injury, but it had been his decision to start this now. He didn't regret it at all.

The female in front of him seemed young, younger than he was anyway. He was two in a few days whereas she seemed new to the life of a yearling. The sight made him smile. He could do with a few enthusiastic wolves to counter balance his old soul.

"Looking for a new home?" he enquired, unless any new packs had set up lately he was pretty sure that she didn't belong to any that usually resided around this area.
Put in a quick edit to take out her introduction, as it was kind of sloppy. Hope it doesn't change anything in the next post
Once she gained control of her laughter, the female focused on the male. He seemed to show no signs of attacking, so she gave a small nod of her head to greet him properly. As for answering his question, well Bindi wasn't exactly sure what she was looking for.

Leaving her former pack was the hardest decision of her life, but when leaving she had not set out looking for anything particular. The yearling left her family to explore new lands, and start her own life, so assuming when the male said if she was looking for a home, he meant a pack. Perhaps joining one will help her get on her own two feet again, and then she can continue her travels.

"I certainly wouldn't mind joining a pack" the female answered truthfully. She would have other wolves to hunt with, and the security of protected boarders, so maybe she could finally sleep at night. It was just then the female realized that he had a scent of one of the packs in the area, but it was faint. Did he leave his pack? If so why was he offering her a home if he didn't even have one himself?
Fitz was being coy. It wasn't usually like him but something in this yearling's expression - or maybe her words, or maybe the way she held herself - brought it out in him. He decided against introducing himself right now. She was looking for a home, no one said that she was looking to make one. He wasn't formally asking her to join them - yet. They were both just... testing the waters.

"How about making a home, making a pack?" he asked her, cleaning his paws as he did so. He was trying to ask as if this was a perfectly normal conversation. It wasn't every day you tried to create a pack or got asked to be a founding member of one. Today, though, they both got that scenario.

Trying not to hurry himself, trying not to portray his eagerness at another recruit he kept himself occupied, watching her from the corner of his eye.
The look on Bindi's face said it all when the male stated about creating a pack. So this is most likely why the scent of his former pack was faded, because he set out to make his own creation. He had not been thrown out of his pack, or left to pursue a lone life, but instead to create a pack.

Even though the young female had just met the male, she had a certain respect for him. It was not easy to create a pack, and you never know if you actually going to complete your goal. Bindi pondered at the question, but realized she had nothing to lose if it never worked out. Besides, being a founding member of a pack had it's benefits.

She watched as the male cleaned his paw, but she could feel his stare on her. "Well..." not actual sure how to accept, the young female spoke what was on her mind. "If your truly committed to creating a pack, and a home, I would be honored to be a part of it."
The midnight female saw straight through his sly question and answered what he had meant all along. "I have never been one for subtly." he laughed. "There's two or three of us at the moment, three or four counting yourself. I think we have a good beginning. FitzDutiful, at your service."

He couldn't be more specific with the numbers as he had yet to know for certain what Raissa wanted to do. It was likely she was onboard, just as likely she had turned down his offer. Either way, he was fully absorbed into his task of gathering up other lone wolves and creating a name for themselves. Although he would be leading it, and he felt the confidence to do so, it wasn't his pack and he made sure that everyone knew that. There wasn't a pack with just one wolf, there wasn't a family with just one wolf and in FitzDutiful's mind pack equalled family.

He had stopped cleaning his paw, and let the excitement at this endeavour glean from his eyes and infest his smile. It was going to be a good adventure.
The male explained how there were already other wolves, and that they had a good beginning. The dark female was pleased to hear that this male, whos name she learned is FitzDutiful, had already been recruiting. She figured the quicker this new pack is official, is the quicker she gets back to exploring.

"Well I'm glad that there are others" she said cheerfully, already imagining the fresh meals she will have to satisfy her stomach. Living off of scraps is not an enjoyable life, but it's what most loners go through. In the back of her mind Bindi's prays that this pack is actually put together, because if not, she is literally going to kill somebody for a good meal.

She watched as FitzDutiful smile grew, and he seemed to be happy about her being on board. It was nice to see a wolf with some fun spirt, where Bindi came from everyone was strict and didn't allow her games. It was one of the very reasons why she left, because no one was going to tell her how to live her life.
She seemed happy that there were others but FitzDutiful had yet to learn her name. "So you're officially taking this journey with us...?" he asked, in a way that explicitly implied that he wanted the name of his new recruit. After she, presumably introduced herself, FitzDutiful welcomed her again by name.

"We've got a tiny cache started over here," he said, walking to an area of freshly dug ground, hidden in one of the caves behind where he had been resting. "Feel free to help yourself if you need to, though don't forget to replenish it - as if that actually needs saying."

A spin was the next thing FitzDutiful did, supposedly indicating the entire mountain range. "Then make yourself at home. We still need our borders enhancing, food fetched, fun, laughter and smiles - and there's the others to meet. Tempest and Raissa are definitely with us and should be around here somewhere. I met a wolf named Artax but who can say. Either way, we should be secure soon." His tail wagged, excitement clear.

Welcome to Silvertip Mountain.
Last post from me! Great thread, i'm sure Bindi will love it at Slivertip Mountian!

"Bindi," the young female added on to his sentence, as it was clear he wanted her name. The male seemed kind, so she hoped he was a good alpha also. When FitzDutiful said about a cache, the female's ears immediately rose, and a smile grew on her face. "Ill be sure to go hunting soon" she explained, as she was a good hunter, and was experienced in catching small prey.

The male also introduced wolves by their name, but she had never met them before. So the young female just nodded her head, and would try to remember those wolf names if she ran into any of them. She thanked FitzDutiful for accepting her with a sway of her tail, and then set off to explore more of the mountain.
