To answer Copper's question - I'll only be posting once to signify the start of new rounds. If you want to post more than once in a round feel free to do so! And there's no posting order when a new round starts (though for those of you having conversations you might want to post order between yourselves to stop confusion)

It was time.

FitzDutiful was preparing to undertake the most momentous occasion since the pack had been founded. Their first pack meeting. The ranks had just been shuffled according to how he felt wolves had performed and they had been announced a few hours ago. Now he wanted all of Silvertip Mountain together to get to know one another.

Usually, pack meetings were held when something important needed to be said. FitzDutiful felt that his members getting to know one another and bonding in such a manner would help strengthen their ties as well as give him an understanding of how his pack members interact with one another.

With all of this in mind he lifted his muzzle in the air and howled for all his members to come join for their first official meeting.
Ooo! First pack meeting! I'm Excited to meet everyone!
Copper was lying down in his den, when he heard a howl. The first pack meeting. This would be alright. as long as there wasn't any bad news to announce. If not, this would be a momentous occasion. Copper trotted over the rocky fields to get to the place where the howl originated. He came upon Fitz, who was doing a surprisingly good job at being Alpha. copper noticed Fitz looked quite tired. The "Dutiful" part of his name was being fulfilled. he was a little..To say the least, droopy.

Copper sat down, and looked at Fitz for a second time.
"You Okay buddy? Copper said, cocking his head in question.
"It's not too easy, is it?" Copper then realized this was being a tad insubordinate, and lowered his head.
Standing on top of the boulder, Tempest gazed down at the fluffy snowbank gathered up against the side of the rough rock. Her green eyes sparked, and she crouched, muscles bunching under her peppered pelt. With a huge leap she flew off the boulder. She laughed at the feeling of free falling, then landed with a startled "oomph" in the snow, sending it into the sky and falling around the delighted fae in a white cloud.
Tempest lay reveling in the snow, coating herself in the cold powder, before a familiar howl had her on her feet, ears perked.

In no time she arrived at the scene of the howl, tail wagging as she noticed Fitz. She greeted him warmly, but eyed the one next to him with distrust. He smelled foreign, and was male. Tempest gazed coldly at him for a moment. She realized that a month ago, she wouldn't have cared. She gritted her teeth, she hated Mikeal and her father for changing that. So she stood and forced a smile on her face. "Hello" she greeted the newcomer. "Who are you?"
andrea.. Is there post order here? If so I'll delete.

Copper stared as the odd wolf flopped a good five feet down on a hill. Then he proceeded to ask his name, with a smile.. copper looked into the wolfess' face. She was white from the snow. He stared, as bit incredulously.
"Names Copper. some call me Cobber Or Cobbs." Copper replied, with a swift shake of his shoulders. He sniffed into the air. He smelled doubt. He hoped someone didn't hate him already. Copper's deep voice took a softer tone.
"Nice to meet you. Who are you?" Even when he was being kind, he held his head high.
Raissa had heard the pack rankings announced earlier that morning and was a little surprised to find that she had fallen to the near bottom. But she wouldn't let that get her down, so she padded along with a happy bounce until she came to the place Fitz had howled for, joining the three wolves. She gave a nod and a smile to Tempest, her current best friend in the pack and gave Fitz a quick lick on the cheek before going to sit by a wolf she didn't recognize yet. It was good that the pack was gaining members and she was happy to see they had another male in the pack. At least Fitz wouldn't be completely out numbered any more.

"Hi, I'm Raissa. And I think I caught your name. Copper?" she asked in a friendly manner, noticing the cold stare Tempest had shot him. She wondered what that was all about. Maybe she would ask her friend later, hoping nothing was bothering her.
Im assuming this is after copper and bindi meet. Sorry I posted so late, had a birthday party to got to.

When a howl broke through the air, Bindi's ears stood up tall, and she began trotting to the scene. When arriving she found herself apon the entire pack, all who she recognized. She strolled in confident as always, and gave a greeting to all "Hello everyone".

Bindi wanted to know more about her new family, there past, things they like, the trades their pursuing. It was all very important to the midnight wolfess, she wanted to connect with them and show her kind nature along with her mischievous fun loving side. She worked her way over to Fitz and sat a respectable distance from him, after all she knew him best out of everyone here. The obsidian female briefly met Copper, Riassa, and Tempest, but she had connected most with her alpha. Not knowing what the meeting was about she patiently awaited for Fitz to speak, and gave her full attention to him.
Holy HydroFraking! Every one is talking to Copper!

"That's My name. Don't wear it out!" Copper said, smiling. He had apparently not made a deep enough dent in anybodies memory. That's fine. He didn't want to be known as the smi-teen. Copper laughed at his own wordplay. He was such a clever beast.

His tail wagged with excitement. Who knew what Fitz was going to say. Hopefully he had made his mark in the pack. It would be horrible if he had to wait for a new shipment of wolves to connect with. It might take him awhile. But, he knew that in this stage if he wanted out, he could just leave. But something not yet justified had invaded Coppers' mind. He might find.. Something greater. a real relationship. Not just the satisfaction he 'wanted.' Or did he. Coppers whole way of thinking changed a bit then.
"You don't remember me?" Copper said, genuine concern filling his speech.
Raissa nodded to Bindi as she appeared to the group, saying hello to everyone in one sentence. Then she turned back to Copper, his tail wagging as he pleased himself by saying what he did. He was interesting so far, but not necessarily in a bad way. She wondered why he asked if they really didn't remember him. For her, this was the first time meeting him, but she couldn't say the same for the others.

"Well, I've only just met you." she explained, a little cautiously.
Got the timeline wrong one again. Improv mode activate!

Copper looked up into the sky, remembering something from long ago..
"Sorry! It's just" Copper paused, trying to remember why she had already met the Rusty god. "Your quite familiar." Copper shook his head. He couldn't shake the thought that he had met her. Oh well. Copper had met many a beast back in his loner days. Maybe he had met this calm wolf then.
Copper looked back at himself in his loner days.
More like glory days.

He remembered how strong he had been, he was so inexperienced then. And a bit overcocky. More than he was at the moment. He was young, and handsome. Not that he wasn't any less alluring. Just he was more.. More of a rugged experience handsome now. That was odd for him to say though, as he was still barely out of adolescence. copper sighed, fully engulfed in nostalgia
Raissa smiled as he realized that he hadn't in fact met her, that maybe he had just met someone that looked an awful lot like her.

"Oh okay." she said happily, before turning back to Fitz, eager to hear what he had to say.
Round two begins. The last round starts Feb 15th

Surprisingly, the newest recruit was the first to arrive at the pack meeting. He commented on how FitzDutiful looked and remarked that it wasn't so easy. It surprised FitzDutiful for it was almost as if Copper had done this too. Maybe he would make a good counsellor. "It's going all right, I think." he replied, waiting for the rest of the pack to arrive.

Tempest was next to do so, though she didn't seem that overjoyed at seeing Copper. FitzDutiful didn't have time to think about that before Raissa arrived and FitzDutiful couldn't disguise his happiness to see her. Bindi appeared not long after and the meeting started in earnest.

"Welcome everyone." he said, stopping the chatter between Copper and the others as he did so. "I thought it was about time we had a pack meeting. I wanted to thank you all for committing to our cause and helping to establish this pack. I hope you all consider it your home and please know that if you have any questions I am available for you to ask them to." He looked around to see how everyone was taking his words before continuing.

"I'd like to take this moment to encourage everyone to pursue trades to strengthen yourself and your pack. Some of you have talked to me about this already, but others may not have considered it. I want to make it clear, the more trades, the more responsibility you get and the higher in our pack you will climb." There was no chance any leader position would go to a wolf without at least one confirmed trade. Preferably three (and hopefully he would have the three by them too).

Now for the part he was concerned about. He wanted his pack members to get to know each other and this was an ideal opportunity. It was, of course, up to them how much they chose to share.

"While we're all here - and on the subject of trades - I'd like you all to briefly introduce yourselves and announce any trades you have or what to work towards. If you don't have any in mind yet then please tell us what you consider your strengths and maybe we can find a trade for you."

He needed to lead by example.

"I'll start. As you know, I'm FitzDutiful. I earned my counsellor trade in my previous pack, the Redhawk Caldera. Since then I have been working towards both Warden and Naturalist trades and hope to complete my training soon." It was a confusing topic, earning trades as the alpha. After all, he was the one to judge them worthy and he seemed to hold himself to a higher standard. Regardless, he should have them under his belt soon.
She listened as Fitz explained why he had called everyone to the meeting. Even though she was harsh and rude to her packmates she cared, if she really didn't give a damn about her pack she wouldn't have showed up. When he mentioned about ranks, she gave a shake of her head. Rank to her did not matter, she lowered herslef to no one, and in return expected no one to lower to her. In the midnight wolfess's mind, everyone was equal, no matter what rank. Once her alpha was done speaking she went, figuring since she already knew her trades she would speak. "As i'm sure everyone already knows i'm Bindi, I am pursuing the warden, warrior, and gamekeeper trades. I am close to gaining my warden trade, and will purse gamekeeper next."

The obsidian female said and looked around for any emotion, not that she expected any. She wasn't exactly friends, with Riassa, or Copper, so she was sure they could care less about her. She wanted to get to know them, to become friends with them, but in order for that to happen she would have to open up to them. She held so many mistakes in her past, if she dare open herself to someone, it could result in more than just one death. Her former pack wasn't far away for the Teekon Wilds, and could send someone to murder her and anyone she cared for. It was both safer, and easier this way, let everyone hate her so no one will die due to her. Bindi had caused enough deaths, she didn't want to cause anymore.
Copper's ears tucked, when the pack glanced at him. He walked up, and sat down, looking at the ground. Under his rusty coat, he blushed red. He didn't want to talk. Copper was coming down with a horrible case of stage fright. Copper muttered something. His words slurred, and mixed with the quiet, he was inaudible.

But what he said wasn't much more interesting than muttered greetings.
"I'm Copper, and I don't know what I want to do.." Copper said, in a quiet, let's get it over with tone of voice. He wasn't good at anything-not really, but he couldn't name any significant strengths at the time. If he didn't cough anything out, he wasn't going to seem to be useful to the pack.

Copper scooted back over to his spot next to Bindi, and sat, looking at the ground, with a hard expression. He wasn't going to look at any of his packmates. They thought he was weak.
Raissa listened intently to what Fitz was saying, her ears perked and eager to hear what he was saying. It was a great idea to have a sort of 'get to know you" thing. She had done almost the exact thing with Prima and Peregrine and it really helped them get to know each other. When Bindi spoke Raissa couldn't help feel a bit of anger to her. She was not only ranking higher in the pack, but she was going for the exact trades the tri-colored she wolf wanted. She looked down at her lame ankle, her brows crinkled unhappily. Why couldn't it be done healing yet? Sure, she could walk and hunt and do simple things, but she still was tentative to try what she really wanted. Sparring. It had been too long since she had last practiced, the fight with Star.

Maybe it was time to tell Fitz about that. He deserved to know what had happened after all. When Copper went up to speak, he looked scared and tentative. She looked at him with warm eyes as he said he didn't know what to do. She could help with that. Maybe she could even train him to be a warrior.

After he came back to sit down, Raissa stood up, her eyes sparkling, happy and proud to be a part of mountain pack. "I'm Raissa, and I am looking to complete my training as a warrior, but until my ankle is fully healed, I will be working towards the warden trade." she spoke, her voice full. She would not let Bindi get to her.

As soon as she was done speaking, she moved back to sit down, waiting to hear what the others had to say. Her ankle throbbed slightly, bringing back a wave of memories that made her grimace and scowl ever so slightly.
Last round, thread will be archived Feb 19

Bindi went first, explaining that she was going for the Warrior, Warden and Gamekeeper trades. FitzDutiful smiled as he watched her having known all this already and he was pleased that she chose to share this information with her pack. He had the feeling that she was quite flighty but he was determined that he could show her the value of Silvertip Mountain should she admit to him that she wanted to leave.

Copper spoke up next, but explained that he didn't have a clue what he wanted to do and that caused FitzDutiful to frown. This wasn't what he had expected but before he could say anything Raissa mentioned that she was going after the Warrior and Warden. His heart caught fire, pleased that she had decided to go after some trades after all.

Tempest seemed unwilling to say anything and so FitzDutiful decided to bring the meeting to a close, making a mental note to talk to both Tempest and Copper about their future plans.

"Thank you everyone," he said, smiling around to them all. "I'll formally end this meeting now. Feel free to linger and chat or head off and work towards your trades or goals or whatever plans you had for today. If any of you want any help, advice or tasks then just let me know. I'm always here for you all."

With that said, FitzDutiful stayed until the last of his pack wolves wandered away before heading back to his den for a quick nap before warden duties commenced.
Last for me

Fitz seemed pleased that the meeting had gone so well and brought it to a close. She looked over at Copper, sending him a worried glance. She wanted to talk to him about his trades but she didn't want to right then, she was still pretty angry at Bindi. She honestly couldn't even find a reason to be angry, but she still was. Just the thought of the black she-wolf made Raissa's blood boil and she knew she needed to go let off some steam before she could talk to anybody reasonably.

She gave everyone a smile and a quick nod before heading of, to either find some prey or remark the borders for about the millionth time that day.
So sorry, my Firefox crashed while I was last writing my post and I forgot to respond! Feel so stupid

Tempest finally found the nerve to speak, and began to step forward. She was interrupted however, by Fitz's voice, and she backpedaled quickly to where she had been sitting. She bent her head with a little embarrassment, and when Fitz was finished speaking she quietly slipped away.

Her plan was to fill some of the caches, and with that in mind the misty fae set of to explore the small woods near the mountains base.
Bindi watched as Tempest was about to speak, but was cut off by Fitz. The midnight wolfess wondered what trades Tempest would be interested in. Perhaps Tempest would have something in common with the obsidian female, even though it was unlikely. She listened has Fitz finished speaking, and she dipped her head to say goodbye before leaving the meeting.

Her plans were simple that day, she was no outrider but she just wanted to get away from the mountain for awhile. Little did she know, but Bindi would encounter a young wolfess named Runt on her adventure, and find out so pretty interesting information.
