The pack's food was running low, Flash put his wanderlust away as he got away from the worrying cache. It was a okay day, not too cold but but not a day with sunlight either. He felt himself shake with wanderlust as he approached the borders. Quivering, he tried folding it away into the corner of his head as he continued to approach. Now shaking severely as he tried to patrol the borders, he almost screamed.
"Oh fuck it!" He exclaimed, stepping out of the borders and heading out, but keeping to rising sun valley. Somewhere around emberwood, as he padded around, a whiff of hare came to him, a strong whiff of hare too. He stalked closer, and realised it was a hare warren. A small tunnel like hole sticking out in the dirt. Not the best prey there is, but pretty good.
As he turned around, he smelled something rotting. Curiosity got to him and he stalked closer. As he reached the horrible scent, he realised it was a dead deer about to start rotting. Some parts had peeled off, but the two hind legs still looked fine. He feed himself on some unrotten parts of the neck, deciding it was still eatable. He then approached the back of the deer, ripping off it's two hind legs and returning to the bypass. Thinking of the hare nest, he started to wander around the bypass again.
