Kovacs made slow progress along the coastline, stopping often to replenish his hearts in the foliaged that fringed the beach and investigate the lingering trails of wolves. The further east he went, the more the overall theme of scents shifted away from the fishy scent he had come to associate with the Bay. This one was subtler.
After dispensing with his feathery BFF, the lumbering giant set his sights on the distant cliffs. Perhaps the area would be claimed, and if he was lucky, those wolves would be in need of brawn.
