The mute fae had finally been accepted into a pack, one that made her immensely happy. Here, females were always above males, a fact Phantom found comfort in. It had been the same in her old pack, and the white girl had remembered awaiting the breeding season with excitement, hoping that against all odds she would be selected. That chance never came, however, before the attack of the males. She had figured out the system of ranks here, and had chosen to devote herself to pleasing her queen.

This day, same as many days before it, Phantom sat by the sea's edge, it gentle but cold waves lapping gently at her petit paws. Today Mother Sea was calm, a stark contrast to the tempest she had been the previous day. However, through out the day the waves had been picking up slightly, hinting at another tempest sometime soon. But for now, the silent fae gazed out over the frothy waves with startling green eyes that were a contrast to her pelt of bone.

After a long time at the water's edge, the silent one decided to finally make herself useful. At times, it seemed that in the womb she had given up her voice for a body that was strong of mind and labor, for Phantom was a great hunter, and an even better fighter when she wanted to be. Her looks were also considerable, though those got her nowhere with her lack of voice.

The ivory fae swiftly turned and loped with graceful lope along the beach. Finally, she found a small group of seals, and using stealth and brute strength managed to kill a slower one before it slipped back into the cold embrace of Mother Sea. Even though it was slow, it was also a nice size, and Phantom had some trouble pulling it back up the beach. It was times like these when she cursed her lack of voice, for if she was able to she would have surely called for help by now. But she couldn't and had to simply hope that someone would come along and help her with the fat thing.
Wynter was padding along the edge of the beach that bordered the forest, It was a nice day outside today and she decided to go for a walk since she saw no reason for her to remain at camp. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a white wolf. She recognized it as the white female who had recently been accepted into their pack. Although she hadnt been able to learn the females name for she was mute. Perhaps there was some way the female would be able to tell her some point. She watched as the female took down a seal all on her own. Wow she is a good hunter. Even Wynter knew she wouldn't be able to take down a seal on her own. She watched as the mute attempted to pull the seal inland. She smiled slightly by she decided rather than watching she would trot over and help. She padded up beside the wolf and nodded. "Need some help?" Wynter asked politely and smiled as she she took hold of some of the seal and began to help pull it up the beach.

"Great job by the way. Couldn't have pulled that off on my own if I tried"
Phantom nodded as the cinnamon fae, and offered her a happy smile as she commented on her hunting skills. She shrugged modestly, and together the two pulled the seal up toward the forest. Phantom knew it would probably have to be ripped into chunks before being able to fit in a cache, but that was a task she could complete later. Firstly, she would attempt to converse with the female.

The pale fae trotted closer to the other, and sat. She shrugged her shoulders, put on a questioning face, and pointed at the cinnamon one. Translation: Who are you? She repeated the action once again before gazing curiously at the currently unknown but kind fae.
Once Wynter and the white female had brought the seal inland Wynter sat and the young female joined her. Wynter had so many questions but she wasn't sure how she would get the answers. Just then the mute shrugged her shoulders and pointed towards me almost if questioning who i was. "If i read you correctly, you asked me who I was. I am Wynter," she said as she smiled slightly " I don't know if you can answer me in anyway but what is your name?" She asks tilting her head slightly hoping the female would answer her question somehow.

OOC/ Got aim so we can talk on there. Faster than Pm :P
Phantom nodded as Wynter answered her gestures correctly. She smiled, the name fit for the fae, though she didn't know why. Then she asked Phantom her own name. The colorless fae's brow wrinkled, considering. How to tell her? Even if she couldn't get the message across, it would be alright if the fae called her something else.

Finally, the fae decided to just try something. She pointed at the snow, for white. ghosts were white, weren't they? Then, she pointed at the sky. A phantom was a dead wolf, wasn't it? Realizing that this logic would be very hard to understand, she tried acting.

The fae drew a claw across her throat, symbolizing death. Then, the lay on the ground, eyes closed. After a moment she stood again, and looked at the fae wonderingly. Hopefully she was smarter then the alpha and would at least get some of what she had just showed her.
Wynter watched carefully analyzing as the white wolf tryed to act out her name. First she pointed at the snow white. Kinda like her fur. But white. Then she pointed to the sky and Wynter looked confused. She watched as the female tried again. She clawed at her throat and fell to the ground. Dead, white. Then the female rose again. Kind of like a ghost.
" I think i get it, Ghost or Phantom," she gave two words in case one was wrong. She though the second one might be right though because it suited the white female more. Ghost didn't really make any sense to her. She smiled in the hopes she had it right. If she didn't she thought she never will.
Phantom nodded at the mention of Phantom, a huge smile on her face. This female was much better at this then the alpha had been. Her tail wagging happily, she ripped out a hunk of the seals flesh and placed it at the girl's feet before taking her own. She hoped that beside her disability, they could still become friends. She would like that very much.

The pale one lay in a sphinx like posture beside her meal, before carefully ripping out a chunk and tasting it. Good. Very. She took a larger mouthful, tail still wagging slightly. Finally, someone who understood her.
The white female got very happy at the mention of what Wynter guessed to be her name "Phantom suits you" the amber female smiled her tail wagging slightly and nodded as the female to a chunk of the seal and placed it at her feet before getting her own. She too lay down beside the meat and began to eat. This was what Wynter thought could be the beginning of a great friendship.

Wynter looked up from her meal briefly " It's not a really that hard to read you. I mean for me at least. Just takes a little patience and understanding" the female smiled and went back to eating her meal.
