Placed at the borders, Tagging; @Koda & @Kesuk :3

After her talk with Kove, Scarlett was slowly believing in herself again. What happened at DFG really gutted her self confidence. Scarlett thought that some wolves might have her back, but no one spoke up to defend her. She felt betrayed by her pack. After Tuwawi told Scarlett to leave DFG lands it was not that the light lady was leaving because the fire furred female wanted her to. Scarlett wanted to leave herself too. She could not stay and let Duskfire be ruled by .. that woman. Luckily, the pale female had a few wolves that believed in her and now Scarlett was planning to talk to some friends. Maybe they would like to join her new pack.

Now the albino stood at the border of Blacktail Deer Plateau, she realized that it might be rude to call the couple Koda and Kesuk to ask if they might join her pack. She was basically knocking on their door to ask if they would leave their home for her. The light female hesitated for a moment. Then she just told herself that she was just going to have a chat with her two friends, drop that she will start her own pack and see how to two would react. Maybe, if she was lucky, they would ask for a spot. She hoped so. The albino howled for the mated couple with that hope in mind.
Kesuk had been patrolling the borders not to far from where Scarlett stood when she heard the call ring out in the damp air. She was surprised when she found it was calling for both her and Koda. She pricked her ears to try and identify the voice. It sounded very familiar yet she couldn't quite place it. She headed towards the voice, a curious look on her face and her bright blue eyes searching the water coated woods.

Finally she spotted the pale figure not too far out and a smile fit to her lips. Scarlett! It then made sense why she was calling for both her and her mate, but what was she doing so far from home? Kesuk remembered how long it had taken her to reach the glacier, so it must be important. Maybe she had found Nea! Kesuk hoped that was the case as she padded forward to greet her friend.

"Scarlett! What a great surprise!" she spoke, walking up to her and greeting her with a happy nose bump. "What brings you to the plateau?" she asked, smiling.
Koda can jump in any time!

The light female sat down as she waited. She didn't want to be impatient and just nervously pace around the border. That wasn't like her. She wondered how the two would react with her being at their front door. Maybe they wouldn't want to leave at all. Who knows. It was Kesuk that came to her call first. The greeting was so genuine and happy that Scarlett grew happy too, to see her. A quick yip came of her lips in greeting, and her tail patted again the ground. "Hi Kesuk!," she barked in greeting.

The albino's red eyes scanned over Kesuk. She wondered if things were okay with her and Koda now. The male had spoken over their disagreement. "Well, I have some reasons," she admitted. "But I also wanted to see my good friends for a good needed chat," she spoke, a sad smile turning on her face. It was though to admit that she was kicked out of her pack, her home. That would make her look bad. "I got kicked out of my home," she whispered. "And I also wanted to check if you and Koda were doing okay.."
The smile slipped off Kesuk's face soon to be replaced by a worried look. She got kicked out? Scarlett was such a kind wolf, why would anybody want her out of their pack? If they did, then they were certainly not wolves Kesuk would want to be in a pack with anyways. She nudged Scarlett's cheek with her nose, concern evident on her face. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" she asked, wanting to comfort her friend. If there was anything she could do to help her feel better, then she was all ears.

"And for Koda and I, I think we're going to be fine." she said. The fact that she knew about it suggested that Koda had told her. That was fine with Kesuk, but only because Scarlett was her good friend as well. She didn't know how she would've reacted if he had gone blabbing to some random wolf. She highly doubted he would do that, but the thought made her fur itch.
The albino let out a soft sniffle before she gathered herself. She shouldn't have a break down here in front of Kesuk. "Well, there was a mutilated head placed on our borders and one of the wolves went crazy, she was already a bit crazy, she is also the founder of the pack that rejoined. She wanted revenge and I spoke out against her. I was higher in rank.. but.. no one defended me. And they probably all hated me.. Or something. And .. She told me to leave. And then.. I did. But only because I wanted myself. I couldn't live with her in one pack." Scarlett spoke about the gist of what happened. Of course there was more.

The kind female smiled at that. "I am glad to hear. He was really worried about it," Scarlett admitted. Her tail wagged gently. "On other news. Better news. Me and my soon to be mate will be starting our own pack! You missed so much Kesuk. We need to talk more often because so much happened. I don't know where to start." Scarlett actually liked girl talk. She met Kesuk when she was in heat, the darker furred one told her she would meet the right guy one day, and now she had! Always listen to Kesuk.
Koda had returned to a spot where he'd stashed some food months earlier. It was now buried under snow and frost, and he was having some difficulty digging up the frozen ground. "Fucking winter," he muttered as his claws scratched into the dirt, barely leaving a mark. It was like trying to dig through solid rock.

A howl rang out, requesting his presence at the border. Koda reluctantly backed away from the hole. "You win for now, but I'll be back." He said as he turned and departed for the border. As soon as he was out of sight, a raven swooped down and picked up where he left off.

Fast forward. Koda arrives at the border to see Kesuk is already there, talking with the white wolf Koda assumes made the call. He approaches the two, nuzzling Kesuk before turning to the stranger, who is actually not a stranger at all. "Hey Scarlett!" He was surprised to see her here, so far from Duskfire. "What brings you out here?" He asked, unaware she'd just finished explaining to Kesuk.
Sorry for the short post and the delay! RL is gettin busy :P

Kesuk was happy when Koda arrived, returning his lick and smiling up at him, "Hey babe." she greeted before turning back to their friend. When Koda's asked the exact question Scarlett had just answered, her smile faltered slightly and her eyes dropped to the ground. It was probably better for Scarlett to answer that consider what a serious question it was. She was still worried about what happened, but it seemed like Scarlett was handling it pretty well.

She settled herself on the ground in a comfortable position, content to listen to Scarlett explain again and let them talk.
Hope there is nothing serious! <3

Scarlett smiled kindly when Koda approached. This was the first time she saw the couple together. Aww, they looked so cute! Scarlett hummed softly. Her ears fell back when she had to answer that question again. "Well.. I've been kicked out from Duskfire Glacier," she spoke to Koda. He wondered how he would take this. Koda always had been a good friend. She gave him the short version now. Then the albino decided that she needed to give Koda a bit more info about the 'why'. "The female founder returned. She was crazy. I talked back to her because I didn't agree on having a war with another pack. Even though she was lower in rank she said that I needed to get out. No one of DFG even defended me...," she ended in a whisper.

Scarlett let out a soft sigh and then smiled sadly. "It is better this way. I didn't want to live under the command of a maniac. I just wanted to check up on you two. You are good friends." Scarlett still felt a bit bad for the blunt recruiting she was doing for her own pack. "My.. boyfriend suggested to start our own pack. So that is exciting news, which I also want to share. We will settle in Bearclaw Valley. It is on the other side of this mountain rage all the way to the east,' she explained. "Secluded and safe." Scarlett turned a bit more proud. She hoped her friend would show some interest in it and maybe even want to join.
gonna squeak out a reply, sorry for holding this up

Koda listened as Scarlett explained the painful circumstances that had led to her standing before them now. He bristled slightly, angered by the treatment she'd received from her pack. "That is just... messed up," he growled, barely restraining himself from swearing out loud. "Damn, I'm sorry, Scarlett."

He was about to suggest she join the plateau when she informed him that she and her boyfriend planned to start a pack of their own. Koda was relieved to hear she'd found a man to take care of her. But why wasn't he here by her side right now, when she no doubt needed his support? "That is exciting news," he agreed, glancing at Kesuk to see what she thought. "I wish you both well," he said, unaware that Scarlett was hoping he and Kesuk would want to come along.
Kesuk listened quietly as Scarlett explained once again what had happened, anger building up inside of her from hearing the story a second time. She had been through something similar and she knew how much it hurt. Without realizing it, a glare had formed on her face as she stared at the ground, so when she looked back up at Scarlett, there was a firm look on her face.

When she had first met Scarlett, she said she would do anything to help her. Sure, that had been for a completely different issue, but she was her friend, and Kesuk was determined to help, considering she didn't have many friends. She met Scarlett's eyes with surprising force hidden in her gaze.

"Do you have room for any more?" she questioned, her voice almost void of emotion due to the fact that she was completely lost in thought. If her answer was yes, maybe her friend would allow her to join. Sure, the plateau was the best home she had ever had, but Dante would understand the circumstances. She was doing this for the wellbeing of one of her good friends.

If she went to live in the mountains, maybe she could even get Onyx to come too. The young girl had grown on her like a sister, and she didn't think she felt very welcome in her home pack. And then there was Koda. He didn't have to come with her, but she had basically already made up her mind. If Scarlett needed members for her pack, she would go with her.
As of now we have only 1 spot left. But, there might be some that go inactive in the next week! Plus we have a few members that might leave. Just so you guys know! <3

Scarlett turned to face a growling Koda. "It is alright," she assured him. Surely, it was not alright that they kick she rout so disrespectfully. But apparently that was the way it goes. Scarlett felt that this option might be better. Now she could be with Kove and have her babies she badly craved without anyone stopping her. She would be alpha. "Thank you, Koda. Hopefully it will work out!"

Scarlett turned to Kesuk and excitedly wagged her tail. So her friends might want to join her after all?! She would love that. "Oh I would love that! Yes, we do have spots left since we are just starting up." Scarlett came here with the prospect of getting her two friends in her pack. She hoped one of the two would ask for a spot and now Kesuk did. It made her really happy. "You two are always welcome. Please know that."
"Wait, you want us to join?" asked Koda. He wasn't completely opposed to the idea, but he couldn't just up and leave at a moment's notice. There was still stuff he needed to take care of before he could leave the plateau.

It seemed Kesuk, however, had already made up her mind to go with Scarlett. "We'd just need some time to think about it and talk it over," he said, mostly to his mate. The decision to completely uproot their lives could not be made in such haste.
Koda's reasonable voice broke the ice eyed she-wolf out of her 'friend-helping' trance. She turned to him and realized what he said was definitely a better idea then what she was considering. She couldn't just up and leave everything. That would just be dumb, and it would probably end in disaster.

She nodded at Koda's words, looking him in the eyes before turning back to Scarlett. "Yeah, we would probably need some time to talk about it. And then if we do decide to go, we would need a little more time to get things figured out here." she replied, adding on to what Koda had said.

It was times like these she was thankful for the differences between her and her mate. He was definitely more reasonable then her and he helped her think, preventing her from making rash decisions that would probably have a negative effect on her life later on. Not that going with Scarlett was one of those, but still, it was eye-opening to have him.
Last Round, thank you <3

Scarlett looked at her two friends discussing. It was something she didn't need to be part of but something that needed to be discussed privately. At least that is how the red eyed female thought about it. "Like I said. You are welcome to do whatever you prefer. You are always welcome. It is at the end of the mountain range. You can look into the valley from above so I could give you a balcony view," she hummed. The entrance was a bit harder to find but she was sure her two friends would howl for her if they needed help. The steep walls made howls echo loudly, so she would hear them.

Scarlett felt much better seeing both her friends and them being back together. "Well, I think it is my time to leave but, I will make sure to visit you guys. You should meet Kove too! Koda you will like him." Maybe they could go on a double date and do some hunting. "Take care you two," Scarlett wished and then bobbed her head goodbye in greeting.
last from me

"Be careful out there," Koda said as the white wolf departed. Once she'd gone, he turned to Kesuk. "Sorry, I know you want to help Scarlet, but I need some time to think this over," he explained. Even though he didn't see eye to eye with many of his pack mates, he still felt a sense of loyalty to the plateau. But the thought of starting over fresh with his beloved mate was enough to make him seriously consider leaving them behind forever.

"What do you say we talk about this over some food?" He suggested, nudging Kesuk's shoulder as he turned to leave.
