Jace had met Bindi and Fitz and decided it was time to meet everyone else. Jace sat in the meadow and lifted his muzzle to the sky "New wolf in the pack, want to get to know everyone." he howled.

Jace was still nervous, a lot of wolves he didn't know were going to be here within a few minutes. "I'm going to do the best I can to be a contributing factor to this pack, I will make them proud.". Jace wandered the meadow and got to now his surroundings while waiting for his new pack.

Jace sniffed out a couple traces of caribou, "At least we won't go hungry, if we can catch the good ones." he though. Jace sniffed the border and added his own scent to that of his new pack and sat back, "This is really a beautiful area, I'm glad that I stopped here. The mountains and land are magnificent, I can't wait to enjoy a good mountain rain in the spring!"
The silver fae came across the male as he was marking the borders, and decided to watch him for a brief moment before revealing herself. With a soft chuff, she slipped gracefully into the sunlight. As she approached, she noticed that the males eyes, like Jenson's, were of two different colours. A green and amber. She stared for a moment, noting how the two colors contrasted each other greatly.

Finally she tore her gaze away and sat a short distance from the brute. "Welcome. I'm Tempest." her gaze studied him, and she offered him a small smile of her green gaze met his. Their pack was growing rapidly, a fact Tempest was quite pleased with.
Jace didn't know what it was but he immediately liked Tempest. Something about her seemed friendly and inviting, he started thinking that this pack thing wasn't going to be so bad after all. Maybe it was her green eyes, Jace had only the one but he enjoyed having something to share with his new packmate, even if it was just eye color.

Jace smiled back, "Hey Tempest, my name's Jace. I'm glad to be part of the pack, I'll do whatever I can to help out and be a productive member." Jace shuffled nervously, then circled Tempest getting her scent firmly placed in his memory. She smelled good, like the mountain, fir trees and earth. Jace sat back on his haunches, "Sorry, that was probably awkward, I like to get a good noseful of new scents."
She smiled shyly at his apology. "It fine." She drew in a breath, adding the scent of Jace to her mental 'pack mate' category. He seemed friendly, and kind. Tempest hoped that they could be friends one day, he seemed like a good one to have.

"Do you have any trades you want to pursue yet? I just returned from a trip learning about different herbs, for healer." The loner she had met had been a kind one, and told her of various herbs and their uses before setting out her own way. She halfheartedly wondered if they would ever meet again. Probably not. Teekon Wilds was large, and many wolves seemed to disapear into it's depths, never to be seen again. She though sadly of the sudden disappearance of Mikeal, but pushed it away. This pack was a fresh start. No need to open up old scars.
Tempest's question set Jace back for a second. "Here I offer to do everything I can for the pack and haven't even thought of what trades I could do." he thought. Jace sat quiet and thought for a second, "I was thinking of maybe outrider, counselor. Maybe chronicler?", Jace smiled, "Healer is a good trade to have. It's good you got time to travel and learn herbs."

Jace was feeling better about his decision about joining a pack the more time he spent with Tempest. He was pretty sure that the rest of the pack was going to be as friendly and open as she was, he was actually allowing himself to get excited about meeting the rest of them.

"So no one's shown me the den quite yet, where's it at exactly? Are there pups?"
She nodded and smiled at his words, but his next question, she found strange. Tempest gazed at him, brow furrowed in confusion. "Den? There isn't a Den here, we all have our own. I can show you a couple great spots to set one up, though. As for pups...not yet. But soon, I think."

She sat, and absentmindedly traced something into the snow, gaze on Jace. She glanced down, to see...a spiral. Eyes widened in shock for the briefest of moments, and she was quick to swipe a paw across the white and destroy the doodle. The same doodle etched in her shoulder, that she tried her hardest not to think about. She looked back up at Jace, trying to cover up her brief slip with a grin. "So, newbie, wanna hunt?" surprisingly, her voice remained even.
Jace noticed the doodle, briefly, and that it was the same one on Tempest's shoulder, but he also noticed how much pain it caused Tempest to see what she was drawing in the snow. He decided he would ask about that another time, but he wanted to make sure his new friend and packmate was ok. Jace decided against asking her so soon, but he made a mental note to ask her after the hunt. This was turning out to be a really good decision, Jace thought as he smiled to himself.

"That'd would be a lot of fun and we can practice working together and get to know each other better." Jace stretched out his paws in the snow and playfully flicked some snow at Tempest, giving her a sideways smile. "So what'll it be, I think i smelled caribou, they're a bit big for just us two. I also smell some rabbit."

Jace sniffed around in the snow a bit more, "Ya I think that's all I've got, maybe a squirrel? But it could be dead already with how old the scent is."
Tempest stood hastily and nodded to Jace. I think that rabbit would be good. You lead?" She asked, voice steady. She inhaled deeply, she too could scent the trails. But she wanted to see how good at tracking Jace was. Probably good, from the way he had caught those scents.
