@Wynter

Phantom stared at the small mouse, frowning. The thing appeared to be frozen to the side of a tree. She prodded it carefully with a claw, but it didn't budge. It's eyes stared ahead, frozen in death. It was terrible sad, when your meal was frozen to a tree, however small it may be. Actually, it was more of a snack then a meal. More of a bite then a snack. Never less, she still stared sadly at it. What a waste.

Stupid mouse.
Wynter trotted over to where the green eyed fae was standing staring at the trunk of the tree. She brushed along the fae's flank as she came to stand beside her. She looked in the direction that had Phatoms gaze fixed. She spotted the small mouse that was frozen on the side of the tree. Wynter let out a muffled laugh of sorts. "That's a very sad mouse you've got yourself there. To easy of a catch if i do say so myself. It does know we cant climb trees right." she laughed some more and she too prodded the mouse with her paw. Alive for sure. She wondered why it hadnt tried running. The mouse wouldn't have gotten away even if it had run but it would have made this a little more entertaining. "Want to let this one be, spare him his life and try to find something a little more substantial to eat." Poor mouse
'Life'?

Phantom gazed at Wynter questioningly, but with a small smile on her face. Without warning, she swung a heavy blow at the frozen thing, with a loud crack it separated from it's perch and fell to the ground. She prodded it with a paw, but it lay still and unmoving. She pushed it beneath the snow and motioned for Wynter to follow, giving a small nod. Yes. Hunt.

She motioned to some rabbit tracks a few steps away, they where fresh. Rabbit was something the girl hadn't had in a while, she found the delecasies of the sea to be more to her taste. But rabbit was near, so rabbit it was. With a quick, eager grin to her companion, the ghost set off through the snow.

Sorry for the wait, had some baby hamsters to attend to : )
Wynter watched as with one swift blow Phantom killed the mouse and buried it in the snow and motioned for her to follow. She followed Phantom as the female picked up on some bunny tracks. Phantom decided she would go after that one so ya ter scouted around to see if there were another set of tracks. Sure enough amother s e's t of bunny prints appeared before her. Fairly fresh she followed the scent of rabbit to a small burrow. It seemed this was just a lone rabbit and the hole wasn't that deep. She had the rabbit cornered. She began to dig to make the entrance of the hole wider. She then grabbed the bunny in her powerful jaws trying not to drool at how hungry she now was. She promptly dropped the bunny on the ground but before the bunny had chance to escape pounced on it and bit into its neck. She padded back in the direction of Phantom happily the small rabbit hanging from her jaw.
Phantom smiled around the rabbit she was carrying when she noticed Wynter with one as well. She gestured toward a nearby cache, and put her rabbit in it. She nosed the rabbit Wynter carried, and then to the two of them. She was hungry, and her stomach rumbled to prove her point. She didn't eat it yet, though. Wynter would have to agree.
Wynter smiled at Phantom who was also holding a rabbit in her jaws. Phatom had placed her rabbit into the cache and was nosing at the one in her jaws. Then she pinted between them. Wynter laughed. " Sure we can share" she said placing the rabbit on the ground. "I don't know about you but I'm starving," she said laying down by the rabbit and tearing a piece of for Phantom placing it at her feet. "Here have this, if you want more just take." Wynter took a piece of meat off the rabbit and began to eat. She enjoyed spending time with her friends within the pack. It meant a lot to know she was accepted here. She felt at home among these wolves although the memories of her old pack would never completly fade away. She was at peace here in the sound.
Phantom was quick to eat her share, but her mind wandered to more important matters. More specifically, DFG. Phantom was aware that the queen had hired a group of assassins to assist them already, but felt she could do more. First, she would ask Wynter a question she had been wondering about.

In the ground she traced a tiny paw print, pointed at it, and shrugged. She wanted to know what mate ship and puppies were like here. Secretly, her biggest wish was to have her own litter, hear their tiny voices and protect them and love them. But her lack of voice had resulted in lack of interest from the males of her pack. She hoped that things would be different here.
Wynter watched as Phatom quickly ate her share. She must have been hungry. Then she noticed Phantom begin to draw in the ground. It was a small pawprint. Then she pointed at it and shrugged. Wynter took that as something about puppies. Perhaps the rules here? "It's a complicated topic really," Wynter began "See from what I know males are ranked very lowly here. As far as mates go i dont believe any of the females here have them. Just because of the religion." Wynter was annoyed she could not provide a lot of information on this topic and stood and stretched. Wynter hadnt really thought about pups. Or a mate for that fact. She liked the idea but she didn't know that she would make a very good mother.

ooc- If you are actually curious about pups and stuff i believe there is a thread caiaphas started in the members only for sign up to have pups this spring. Lol. While you were gone. I made a new friend in the pack. Also i made another wolf Rhythm. She's a lone wolf but shell be in a pack soon.
Phantom gazed down sadly at the tiny paw in the earth, longingly. She looked up at Wynter, then gestured down to the paw, and to herself. She really wanted to have pups of her own, more then anything. And she would do anything for them.

She placed her own paw lightly over the tiny one, lost in thought, looking down at it.
Wynter nodded slightly as phantom pointed to the small paw the white fae had drawn into the dirt and then at herself. She could tell by the look in the white wolf's eyes that she longed to have pups of her own. Wynter didn't mind the idea herself but she knew not this year. Maybe not even at all. It didn't appear to be in Wynter's or maybe even phantom's future to have pups of their own and that thought saddened Phantom. Wynter padded over to lay right beside the fae whom she thought of as a sister. She brushed her head against Phantoms assuring her everything would work out. She hoped that would make the white fae even the slightest bit happier. Wynter had no words of comfort to say the the white wolf because she wasn't sure herself the words she would say.
Phantom gave a sad little sigh, but lightened up a bit when Wynter comforted her. At least she had a friend. She gazed longingly at the paw print a moment longer before motioning Wynter to follow her. She would go to the sea. She would comfort her as well, embrace the sad girl in it's waves.

Through the land she loped, until she felt sand underneath her paws. She rushed forward to meet the waves, and stood their, surrounded by them for a few minutes. The sea, no matter the occasion, would be with her. She had devoted herself to the sea, and the sea in turn would protect her.
Wynter saw a small smile appear on Phantom's face when she comforted her which was good. She was happy now. Just then Phantom stood motioning for her to follow. Wynter stood as well beginning to trail behind Phantom. She wondered where the white fae was taking her but instead of asking she just followed.

When they reached the edge of the beach Wynter smiled. She loved the feeling of the sand between the creases in her paws soft and silky. She trotted near to the edge of the water but just far enough back the water wouldn't roll onto her paws. She sat down and watched as Phantom let the waves embrace her. Wynter didnt know how she ended up living in a pack that practically worships the sea yet she didnt like the water. Let alone swimming.

"Having fun" she shouted with a small laugh over the crash of the waves. "If you don't mind i think ill stay over here," Wynter said quieter but still loud enough the fae could hear her.
Recklessly, Phantom dove into the water and opened her eyes. It was blurry, but she could make out the shapes of shells and crustations. She gazed around in wonder before popping back up, gasping for breath. She made her way back to the beach and shook herself dry, heading toward Wynter when she was finished. She smiled, not all was bad. There was still a small chance the white fae may one day have pups.
Wynter smiled slightly as Phantom hopped out of the water. "Your back" she joked. She began trotting down the beach she felt she had enough length for a decent run maybe even a race. Wynter looked back at Phantom with a playful look in her eyes. Wynter decided to try this whole signaling thing. She swung her head round and galloped a few strides then looked back to phantom. She hoped she didn't look like a complete idiot and made at least a little sense.
Phantom took only a few moments to understand the female. Without warning, she leaped to her feet and took of across the sand, paws thundering in the surf. He smiled, and were she able to she would have laughed. But now all the concentrated on was keeping her paws moving, her gaze set on a pile of what looked like boulders in the distance.
Wynter grinned as she saw phantom begin to gallop towards her. She couldn't let this white fae win. She was fast though. She admitted she had chosen a decent wolf to race. She didn't hesitate too long and began to gallop away. "Last one to the boulders has to find the other a tasty snack" Wynter smiled. She felt that was a fair deal. She didn't want to be too cruel. Plus if she lost. She didnt want to suffer any of the cruel consequences she may have thought up. Also she was hungry. Win win situation sort of. Except if she lost she knew she would never here the end of it. Even though the fae couldn't talk she was sure shed find some way to rub it in.
Rolled to see who would win!

Phantom ran hard, and for a few minutes the two were matched. A gull caught her attention, and she looked up for a moment, only to trip and fall. She was quick to get back up, but Wynter was already far ahead. With a smile, Phantom slowed her pace enough to dip her head and crab a crab in her jaws, she was soon at Wynters side, and lay it by her paws.
ooc/ Smart :D

Wynter smiled as she reached the boulders first. Phantom trotted up behind her placing a crab at her feet. She laughed for a moment. "What happened i thought you were going to win" she laughed staring down at the crab. She was even more hungry now that there was a snack a few inches from her feet. "Crab, my favourite," she said smiling. She looked up at Phantom. "You want some.Ill gladly share," she said with a friendly smile on her face. That was fun. She felt free running down the beach the wind in her fur. It had been a while since she had a full out run like that.
