@Rhythm
Spring was slowly coming to the wilds, he could feel it. All winter he had toiled away, wandering here from his home, and now his journey was at an end and the warmth was coming. He hoped it would come soon, for the spring was his favorite season. It reminded him of something new. And perhaps he would get a fresh start, find a pack in which he could feel comfortable, maybe even take a loving mate.

The male was tired of loneliness, wanted something new. He wanted a pack and friends and companionship. It was not in his nature to be alone.

He sat looking at the bright sky, completely immersed in a small red and brown bird hoping along a branch and singing beautifully.
Rhythm was enjoying the warmth this had to be the days she enjoyed the most. The days when it wasnt cold or damp outside but cool and sunny. She padded through the forest. She had to admit. It was kind of lonely not having a pack. But she certainly couldn't have stayed where she was. She hated feeling ignored. Or incapable. Her pack mates treated her like she was stupid. That she couldn't do anything on her own. She lifted her head for a moment as if proud. Ill prove them wrong She smiled.

Just then out of the corner of her eye she spotted a Black- Brown wolf staring up into a tree. Her ears twitched as she could hear the sound of a small bird singing its beautiful song. She took a moment just looking at the wolf. She wondered if he was friendly. She padded over nervously and chuffed quietly to get his attention although careful not to scare of the bird.
A soft chuff made Nanuk turn his head, to his surprise a pretty female was walking toward him. He stood and met her halfway, admiring her. "Hello" he said softly as a greeting. He had not spoken for so long, and it felt strange to do so. "My name in Nanuk. Who are you?" he spoke simply, and with great care. He didn't want to insult this female somehow through a blunder of speech.
Rhythm smiled as the wolf met her halfway. This wolf was in fact quite handsome. His coat mainly black but with patches of brown. And his amber eyes as well. "Hello," she replied to his greeting. "My name is Rhythm," she smiled. "Nice song those birds have isn't it" she said glancing up in the tree where the bird was still sat chirping its little song.
"Hello, Rhythm" he said in the same small voice. "The songs are very nice, yes" He looked up toward the small bird, who chose that moment to hop to a different tree some distance away. He gave a small sigh as it vanished, and turned his attention back to the girl. Her pelt was a grey, commonplace, but she seemed friendlier then most wolves. Unlike other males, Nanuk took no pride or interest in appearance. it was nothing if you didn't have the personality to match it.
Rhythm watched as the bird flew off then glanced at the black wolf. His coat wasn't pristine but it had its rugged look to it. Hard working perhaps. She wouldn't know unless she asked. What a stupid question though. She decided to start off with something a smidge simpler. "No pack? No mate? No family?" three questions in one she might as well cover them all now. Although she was sure she knew the answer to pretty much all of them for she smelled no scent of other wolves.

"What's your story?" that was a harder question. "Who am i kidding you don't have to answer that if you dont want. I'm sorry. I ask a lot of questions or talk to much." She said glancing down at her paws.

Her old pack used to find her annoying on top of useless. She didn't have any friends in that pack. She was just "there" almost invisible sometimes. Even when she tried to talk to someone they would always just roll there eyes or talk all snarky. She hated it but that was her life. She was kind of used to it.
