After her run-in with the dark stranger, Dove departed from her company with a new mindset. She was eager to get to work (really!), which was more than a little strange. Her path led along the eastern edge of the lake, and by early evening she found herself at the north shore, tired but content from the exploration. There had been a number of fresh plants springing up all over the place, and while she had wanted to pick them and investigate, Dove wasn't so sure about her abilities. It seemed like a better idea to find someone that could tell her more - someone who could teach her about the various plants.

But that would come in the morning. This trip seemed to have taken on a life of its own, with Dove seeking out a shaded spot beneath a copse of old cedar trees, but she didn't go right to sleep. The girl turned on the spot a few times and plopped herself down, becoming a bundle of grey-washed-white in the shadows, and stared out at the distant lake; she could not see it well from her location, but the sound of the connected river was quite soothing.
Tempest padded along the shores of a great lake, her maw stuffed with a few various herbs. She was determined to increase her herb store, which she kept on a few natural rocky ledges in her den. She carried a few newly budded Blackberry leaves, (bee stings) some chervil fronds, (for stomach ache), and dock(to sooth wounds). Her eyes brightened when she noticed another green shot, and she loped toward it eagerly. Tempest was pleased with the spring, already tempting green from the brown and grey. So concentrated on her work she was, she didn't notice the other wolf a few dozen feet away.
