All Welcome <3

Sebastian trotted casually to the a thinner wilderness of oaks, maples, and dogwoods after he crossed the river. That seemed like a pleasant forest to be in. Sebastian was still a bit amazing and shocked at the same time since his meeting with Muirgen. Which wolf would think of themselves as a seal. It was extremely weird. It also distracted him from finding his dad. The large build male had the same massive height as his father but did not yet have the muscle to look like one formed tank. His mix of grays were the same pattern, even his eyes were the same colors. The only thing Sebastian did have was a tail. To think he even tried to bite of his own when he was a troubling teenager. It hurt too much. Luckily the wounds healed and there was nothing to be seen from his actions.

Sebastian trotted into the woods, it was clear they weren't claimed. He should start to hunt soon. He was growing hungry. Maybe he would come across a raccoon or rabbit. His pale eyes scanned around his surroundings. He didn't even realize that if he would have crossed the river several miles up stream he would have ran into his father. So close and yet so far away. Sebastian was going to confront his father for what he had done. How could he abandon his family... and his son. Sebastian wished he would get the recognition from the man he called his father. Even though he didn't want to be like him, he hated that his father wouldn't even acknowledge him as his family.
Spring was unlocking the iron grip winter had on the northeastern land, releasing the blossoms and sprigs that Meldresi was aching for as her stocks slowly disappeared. With the ceremonies she had to perform over the winter and the fight with Swiftcurrent, her stocks were nearly nonexistent by the time winter ended. It was a blessing to her to see that the cold months were over. With her pups grown and her body fat nearly gone, the priestess left the shadows of her kingdom (queendom?) and explored the newly blossoming lands.

She wasn't a stupid woman; it was too early to do any real harvesting. The priestess merely wanted to check the surrounding lands for signs of growth for the different plants she needed, which she would mark before heading back to the woods.

She found only a few plants budding; the winter snow still held its grip over much of the land, with the patches growing slowly as the days grew warmer. The dark woman wandered through the woods, knowing that the trees would prevent the snow below from melting for a long while. There were still patches and bushes on the forest floor that could still bear flowers and leaves for Meldresi to use. As she peered into the bushes the alphess smelled a vaguely familiar smell. Her indigo eyes flashed to the smell, recognizing the figure. Dark Brother Burke. Meldresi was ready to bark a greeting to him, but paused when she saw the tail. The most recognizable thing about Burke was his tail, or a lack of one. This wolf looked exactly like Burke, minus the tail. Interesting. "May I ask your name?" She said softly.
Yay!

Sebastian big frame moved through the woods, quietly. He lacked the muscle what gave his father his square build. It might also be because his father did not have a tail. The younger male sniffled over the ground, his tail up. The lone wolf carried himself like Burke. With the same poise. If only the younger one knew, he would try and change it. He hated his father for leaving him for breaking his fantasy world. The masked male trotted forward he lazily chased after a bunny but it already spotted him. Hungry gnawed at his stomach but he would not let that stop him. He had been a lone wolf for several months now. He was not a failure.

The male pushed his nose to the ground once more, and followed several trails that was until he had a very strong scent in his nose. Once he looked up he saw a dark colored female approaching him. His ears popped up at first before they fell back. He only met crazy wolves, like one girl who thought she was a seal. Maybe this one was weird too. His pale eyes glanced over her until they fell into her blue ones. She scented of swamp, herbs and other.. things. Small things. Sebastian frowned, even more so at her question. "Well that is rather forward. What do you want with my name?," he asked, confused and frowning. He once again towered over another wolf. She did not seem frightened of him, but rather... interested? Sebastian squinted his eyes suspiciously.
Even his mannerisms reminded her of Burke; the outside-of-the-box thinking, the guarded way he spoke. Meldresi did not know Burke's relationship with this male, who she assumed was his son, since Burke never spoke of his family. She prepared herself for any kind of reaction from the wolf: anger, sadness, closed resentment, before explaining herself.

"You look an awful lot like another wolf I know..." she said, her husky, sultry voice coming back to her unbiddened. She was not trying to seduce the boy at all, but she supposed that being away from her pups for longer and longer periods drove her back to her natural seductiveness. "I wished to know your name to see if you are truly kin to this wolf, or if this is merely a coincidence. I would not be surprised by the latter."
Sebastian's pale eyes settled on the dark female. She had some flair and status with the way she carried herself. The large grey male kept his eyes on her. He got a weird vibe from her. His nose could smell several males and other wolves. She was in a pack, that was certain. When the dark female spoke about him looking like another wolf, Sebastian just knew this female knew his father. He was careful. His father could have behaved very badly towards this lady and want to take revenge on him. Sebastian wondered if he could take on this female. He was bigger, but who know maybe she was in a secret assassin club or something.

Sebastian knew by her next words she was certain he was Burke's son. "You are right. I am looking for a wolf that is an older version of me. He is my father, called Burke Sebastian Rochester. He has a docked tail. I'm Sebastian Thomas Rochester. My mother called be after him because I look at lot like him," The male returned with the same calmness in his tone. Sebastian wasn't going to tell her just yet that he planned on confronting his father for abandoning him. "I get the feeling you know him," Sebastian stated.
@Sebastian Sorry D:

Meldresi's ear twitched, and her eyes brightened in triumph. She was right. This was his son. Sebastian's mother was correct in naming him after his father; the similarities between them where uncanny at best. If she had not seen his tail, and the lack of a red mark on his shoulder, she would have hailed him as the Dark Brother.

"I know him, indeed. He is one of my pack members." She did not relinquish Burke's status in the pack, that of him being one of her best spies and a member of the Dark Brotherhood. That society was a secret to everyone, outside of her clients, her pack, and a few other souls. "I could take you to him, Sebastian." She was curious to see the conversation between these polar twins. Was Sebastian the prodigal son returning home, or was this a long awaited confrontation? Regardless, she wondered if the younger Rochester was interested in following in his father's footsteps. That would be interesting, indeed.
Not to worry! I am subscribed to this thread. So I see a update right away <3 Plus, I know you are busy with school!

Sebastian squinted his eyes. One of her pack members? So that meant that he was talking to his father's alpha? What the--- Why did he father leave him and his pack because he couldn't be alpha to then join a pack where he wasn't the alpha either. Sebastian didn't understand. Did his father just left because he didn't want him. He didn't want his family!? The sensitive male grew a bit overwhelmed. He was still young and hadn't mastered the skill of being always calm. The sensitive side was something from his mother. "I hope you are aware that you have a disloyal pig in your pack," Sebastian huffed, sounding bitter. "One who just leaves the ones he is suppose to love and care for! He abandoned what he should have fought for, but he didn't because he wanted to be right." Well Burke had been right, his brother, and Sebastian's uncle couldn't care for a pack. Now more where dead than alive.

The male let out a loud snort and then raised his head a bit. His tail gave an annoyed flicker. He had a way to get to his father, but this female would know pretty sure that he wasn't very fond of his father. And in some way he was. He just wanted his father to approve of him. The rochester was a bit taken back by her offer. It made looking for his father far easier. "And why would you do that?," Sebastian then questioned, slightly suspicious. This female was the alpha of his father's new pack... if she was anything like Burke then he might land into a trap? Sebastian wasn't stupid. But he also really wanted to see his father. Sebastian was so conflicted. If Sebastian knew that Burke was now taking care of Meldresi' s young and that he was more than a loyal member of her brotherhood, the young male wouldn't know what to do. His father never spend a second with him...
Meldresi shook her head. "Everything I have seen from your father completely negates your claim." While she could not imagine Burke being much of a father, she could not imagine him being disloyal. But then again, who knew? "Perhaps your father is a changed man. He has been in my pack for three months, and has done nothing but support the pack through all of our ventures." Burke had fed the pack and protected its borders, but now he was turning his gaze further inwards, focusing on becoming a councilor for the pack. And so far, he has been doing a good job at it. She had not doubted his loyalty in the slightest.

"Every child deserves a chance to reconcile with their parents." She secretly hoped that it would be the same for her own. Bane had not shown up over the past few months, and she feared that his memory was fading in the minds of his children and, ironically, being replaced by Burke. The brute was already a favorite of Cicero and Damien, and Potema was slowly taking to him. "I am giving you the chance to do so, Sebastian."
If Sebastian would run in to his father with three other kids, it would end badly. Even the fact that Meldresi's kids were seeing his father as theirs would probably upset the young male. Sebastian should not walk into Black Feather woods without any one guiding him. But that was the point, Sebastian wanted to confront Burke alone. The young tank couldn't believe what this woman was saying. "Yeah sure he is," He snorted in disbelieve and shook his head. But inside his mind Sebastian didn't understand. Why?! Why would his father do something like that. A soft pout almost came upon his features.

"I want to but I don't want you to be there," he returned. "I want to confront my dad alone." Sebastian really didn't realize how dangerous his father could be. He was convicted that he could just yell at Burke and then be done with it. That Burke would accept that and then take him in with loving arms. That would most definitely not be the case. "I also don't know if it is a trap. I don't know you or if you really know my father. Didn't ask him what his past was? Bet he lied about that."
Meldresi shrugged gracefully. "Then I will call for him and leave, so that you two can talk on your own. I would not stay there and watch you. It would be a private moment." ...That hopefully will not end in bloodshed of any kind. Meldresi said to herself. Who knows how Burke will react to his long lost son being there, the one he abandoned, according to him.

The dark priestess giggled softly at Sebastian's caution. "Oh, please." She smiled at him, eyes glittering like dark jewels in her mirth. "What would I have to gain from trapping you? You are an unknown loner, with no relations in these Wilds besides your own father." Though, in any other circumstance he would be the perfect subject for teaching her pups how to torture... "I give you my word, I will not harm you, and I will make sure you meet with your father and be left alone."
Sebastian curiously glanced over the other wolf. The female had a way of carrying herself which he wasn't sure to trust or to distrust. He nodded courtly in exactly the same manner Burke would when getting an assignment. "Alright. That sounds agreeable," Sebastian spoke in return. Why did he suddenly feel so nervous? He had often daydreamed about this moment where he would tell his dad how wrong he had been. The young tank of a male looked up with a curious glance when the female giggled. That sounded so unexpected.

"Oh I don't know? Kidnap me or use me as a tool to learn kids to fight. My uncle wasn't a nice guy. I've seen what some packs do to loners," Sebastian returned with a snort but he did believe her. "Why do you have a red paw on your shoulder?," he then questioned to give himself a delay to mentally prepare himself for finally seeing his father again. He might ask for a bit of a delay so he could mentally sort out what he was going to say when meeting the man he called dad.
"I can find better subjects if I wished." There were plenty of loners to choose from in the Wilds, but Burke's son was special, different. She did not know how to react if she brought him home as a captive. "You do not need to fear that we will harm you." Even from Burke. She would keep the Gamma in check from harming his own son, if they would be driven to blows.

The priestess gave her marking a casual glance. "It is a mark of my religion. Burke has the same mark now, if you must know." She wondered how Sebastian would react to that. She did not tell him what her religion was about, but if he did know, she would think he would appalled. Or he would expected something like this to happen to his father.
Sebastian snorted in disapproval. So this female did take lone wolves and tortured them. The rumors were true. He didn't feel the need to come close to those woods. Maybe it was better his father was there where he could be crazy with other psychopaths. "I might take on your offer," he returned, to stay polite. He did not wish to anger her. And it was good to know that he was invited on their lands to meet his father. Maybe after he found a home he would visit them. He needed to gather his strength first.

The young tank looked at her skeptically. "Right. I bet it has something to do with murder since my dad killed everyone he should have been taking care of," he returned bitterly. His tail flickered and then frowned. "Well, thank you for the time and your offer. I will think about it," Sebastian spoke. He wished to leave now and think about her offer and about a game plan for himself.
"Take your time then." She said, paying no regard to his bitter comment on her marking. He thought correctly, then. At least Burke's son was no fool. "If you ever wish to speak with your father, call me first. I will make sure nothing goes wrong with your meeting." She rose then, preparing to wander a bit before she returned to her dark neck of the Wilds.

"I wish you safe travels, Sebastian." Meldresi dipped her head in farewell before she turned tail and walked deeper into the forest disappearing from view. All the while she wondered if she should tell the father about this meeting, but decided against it. She had a strong feeling Burke would not react well.
Thank you! <3 I will Archive!

Sebastian looked at the female and then nodded courtly. "Thank you for that offer." But if I want to speak with my father I want to be alone with him, he finished the sentence in his head. The male returned the same polite wish towards the black female. It was only common curtesy to do so. The large grey walked into the other direction of the male. He should make a plan of action.

He wanted to be in a pack first before confronting his father. Yes, that is it. That would be smart. He would strengthen himself and then call his father out on his shit.
