Although WOLF is a member-driven community, community managers handle programming, maintenance and other necessary managerial tasks. Our goal is to gently guide the IC community as needed to keep the game inspiring and fun. We do this while prioritizing feedback from the membership.

We created the assistant community manager position in an effort to give members an opportunity to participate in managing the game and to maintain transparency with how the staff conducts itself behind the scenes. The position rotates on a quarterly (every three months) basis and is decided via a dice roll. Only current pack managers are eligible and they must volunteer.

If you're looking for pack managers specifically, please see the current listing here. Each pack's PMs are also indicated in bold in their respective rank listings.

If you have a question, we encourage you to post in the Help Desk so the larger community can benefit. Some other resources include the maintenance thread and the #game-hq channel. For more personal matters, we welcome you to come to us directly with any questions or concerns you may have. In order to get the timeliest response, be sure to copy EVERYONE LISTED BELOW on any correspondence. Please be aware that the staff is typically only active on weekdays.

Please do not DM or tag us on Discord if you need community manager assistance. Messages and mentions are easily lost or ignored on there. We participate in the chat server primarily as members, not staff, and prefer to keep formal correspondence on the site. Thanks for understanding.

CM/ACM Guidebook

Every member of staff must abide by the following terms:
  • Content shared within admin spaces may not be shared outside of these spaces, ever, for any reason.  This is out of respect for the privacy of members who reach out to us in confidence. However, CMs and ACMs should operate in private spaces as if what is said may be made public; we do not purge our Discord channel for purposes of transparency as ACMs rotate.

CM Guidebook

In addition, CMs will abide by the following policies:
  • Conversations held with a CM in confidence will never be shared with other staff unless deemed okay.  Members can approach any CM, at any time, with concerns about another member or CM.  This conversation will only leave that private sphere if indicated and agreed upon. That being said, feedback is a gift; we will be better enabled to make positive change if the entire CM team is made aware of difficult situations and criticisms.
  • CMs will no longer participate in member discussions with opinions or determinations.  We may ask clarifying questions or enforce courtesy, but outside of that, any CM discussion will take place behind the scenes in order to allow members to voice their own views.
  • CM-posted polls will always enact the majority winner. Even if you may not feel strongly about the outcome, we encourage you to participate in polls by indicating your preference. We truly want everyone's voice to be heard.
  • Policy changes and site updates will always be announced from the Wolf account.  Discussions may not always result in a change, but staff will always read these threads and consider the positives and drawbacks of any views within. Generally, this discussion will include:
    • A summary of viewpoints and the tallied total of members for each
    • A summary of the arguments for/against each viewpoint
