Rhythm lifted her head and let her eyes adjust to the lighting inside her den. She stood stretching her legs then yawned. She itched with the dirt in her fur. She decided it would be worth her time to go down river and go for a swim. She padded out of the den sun shining. She heard the sounds of spring birds with their songs chirping away.

She began to walk in the direction of the river. She would find a spot far enough down that the current wasn't to strong. She paused for a moment as she picked up the scent of a packmate nearby. She couldn't put a name to the scent though. She must not have met this wolf yet.

She looked around to see where the wolf may be.

ooc/ @Shiba but AW
Shiba was swimming in the river, something that was developing into a 'hobby' of sorts. She saw a wolf walking toward the river. Shiba looked straight ahead, looking sour.
"Hi." Shiba said, still not making eye contact with her new acquaintance.
"What's your name?" She said, sounding an uncanny amount like Scarlett in her tone of voice.
Rhythm spotted the white wolf in the water. Hmm. Nope definitely didn't recognize this wolf. She padded into the water. Smiling as the dirt in her fur loosened. She quickly ducked her head under the water then decided to reply to the wolf who had yet to look at her. "I'm Rhythm, and you are" she asked in a tone that wasn't overly rude but wasn't overly friendly either.

She was hoping she would be alone here. But perhaps it just wasn't meant to be. She was glad at the same time however. Because she got to meet another one of Scarlett's recruits.
Shiba looked into the grey wolfs green eyes, her own pure red one shining in the sun.
"I'm Shiba." She said, in her usual worried tone of voice. Shiba wasn't one for conversation. Talking was hard for Shiba.

The sky turned an odd shade of green, and the water she was swimming in turned black. Shiba yelped, and jumped right back onto shore.
'Nice to meet you," Rhythm muttered. This wolves eyes were red. Like Scarlett's pretty but scary at the same time.

Rhythm tilted her head looking confused as something appeared to have spooked the white fae. "You alright?" Rhythm asked climbing out of the water and shaking off her fur. Careful not to drench Shiba.

She gave a concerned look in Shiba's direction. There was something different about this wolf. Something scared her and yet Rhythm couldn't figure out what it was.
