@Scarlett when you have the time? :)

Raziel had taken to sleeping next to the river that was the main source of water for Bearclaw Valley wolves, he knew some of the wolves were finding dens or making dens to serve as their sleeping place or home or whatever but the Roman knew it wasn't for him. So he simply slept on the grassy field that surrounded the river, it wasn't actually bad, he enjoyed the wind in the fur and the feeling of being in the open. Reminded him of the mountains, he supposed. It also helped if there were ever intruders into the valley, though he sincerely doubted it. The main entrance to Bearclaw was very hard to find, and if even he thought that, it meant it was seriously hard to find.

Dawn was arriving and Raz sat up, watching silently as the sun rose up slowly. Lost in his own thoughts, he drifted off into his own world knowing that soon he would need to start working. Hunting, guarding the pack, interacting with his packmates. Dawn and dusk were the only few moments when he could concentrate and think about his own problems.
After the little hiccup with Shiba Scarlett had returned to her normal state of mind again. She was her kind and calm self. She never wanted to hurt Shiba, even though she had made her cry. Now all seemed well. She was slowly getting more confident in her role as alpha. Her light heartedness was still there but she learned that being an alpha was though work. It also meant she had to get up early, she liked to see the sun rise in the valley it gave it such a beautiful glow.

While walking through the open field, she sniffled out Raziel. She soon found the male she once had a crush on. That crush now moved to Kove, it was more than a crush, it was love. "Hey Raziel," she greeted with a hum in her tone. She always liked talking to Raziel, still. She hoped she would be a good sister and friend to him. "Do you like your new home?"
It seems the fates did not want him to have the precious free time he felt he deserved and so, withholding a sigh, he turned to look at the albino female that he had fell in love with. A smile touched the Roman's face as he gazed upon her, unable to bring himself to ruin the good mood she seemed to be in. It would be unfair for her to bear the burden of his own troubles when she had other problems, like organizing the whole pack, exploring the area and bearing the responsibility of leadership. He had that burden of responsibility on his shoulders once and although he liked leading, he knew it was hard for one to suddenly lead a band of wolves. The storm furred male however, had faith in the red eyed female and knew she would be a brilliant leader, along with her boyfriend of course.

"Hey Scar." Raz said in a pleasant tone. "Of course I like it sis, its a brilliant place for a pack. Beautiful place," while he was speaking, he made exaggerated gestures towards the rest of the pack lands. It was in his nature to joke around after all, he was only ever serious when the situation was really, really, really serious. And that meant war, or if someone in the pack died, or something along the lines of that. Raziel grinned at the albino and motioned for her to sit down next to him. "Spare some time to spend with your brother won't you? I'm sure that even with your Alpha duties and the amount of time you need to spend with your boyfriend, you can squeeze some time out for poor lonely me." It was clear by the joking tone he used when he spoke that he was joking, this pack needed some lightening up.
Raziel was too kind to compliment the pack and the lands like that. Scarlett had been lucky to stumble upon it. The entrance could be hidden to the ones who were blind to their surroundings. She did frown a bit when he called her Sis and then referred to himself as her brother. Scarlett really didn't see him like that yet. But she didn't had the heart to tell him. He was so keen on projecting himself in a brotherly matter that she could not see it. Every time he mentioned being her brother it felt as something he only did out of love for her. Not a brotherly love. "I'm glad you settled and feel at home," She smiled then and sat next to him. She looked over the open field feeling at home and so safe. That was mostly important to her. That she was safe.

Scarlett had a mini-heartattack at first but then she could hear his tone that Raziel was joking. A soft puff left her lips. "I almost thought-- Well, being an alpha is going surprisingly okay. I am glad I have Kove's help. I get so wrapped up in my duties I forget to take care of myself. The injured youngsters need caring and I need to check if everything is okay. Also keep track of the weather since I am not sure what heavy rain does to this valley. Kove is great. I'm glad he found me that day I was lost."
"Ah well, got no other home out there right now, have I?" Raziel said, shrugging. He did have a home somewhere actually, his younger brother Shadow's pack but he wouldn't leave Bearclaw Valley unless he was exiled or dead or something terrible had happened. He'd sworn his loyalty to the white king and queen here, after all. "You're health is whats most important in the end, Scarlett. Kove's helping you with Alphaship too, so you can relax and be an Alpha while taking care of yourself at the sametime. Whats going to happen to the pack if you get sick? Kove's gotta take care of you, then." The Angelus Mortis said matter of factly, flashing her a faint smile.
"Well you could join you half brother's pack right? I'm secretly glad you joined ours," she admitted and smiled happily. She had to agree with what Raziel was saying. She really should take better care of herself. She couldn't fall ill. She was the main caretaker and gamekeeper. She just wanted everything to be perfect and now they were decreasing in members. A soft sigh left her lips. "You are very right, Raziel. You could be an advisor you know that?," She then smiled.

Scarlett then plopped down into the grass, almost like old times when Raziel and her were laying next to each other in Wapun meadow. Although she wasn't laying as close to him now as she did before. She was with Kove after all. She loved him a lot. "I sometimes just forget about myself..."
Raziel laughed when Scarlett said she was secretly glad he joined the Valley instead of the Bypass, "I don't think my brother would have wanted me to join his pack, he'll feel like I'm watching him, trying to see if he's making any mistakes with leading. I'll just pressure him. We both love each other a lot, but, we're better off not living together. That was true, Aku had told Hadrian in front of Raziel that Raz was a better leader, wolf, warrior than he was and even though the keeper of secret had told his little brother that their father was wrong, Hadrian had never been the same to him after that.

"I don't think being a counselor/advisor would suit me. I'll just end up being extremely frustrated and tell them to suicide or some other terrible solution." That, was not really true but the warrior prince did not aspire to counsel or advise others, he was a more physical wolf, a wolf that would rather move and take action then simply talk to others. "Everyone does, Scarlett, but the important thing is to not do it too often."
Scarlett nodded. She would feel the same if one of her siblings would join her pack. She shivered in repulsion. She would hate for that to happened. Scarlett hoped that she would stay far way and their negative spirits. Raziel was not a negative person but he was strict in Scarlett's eyes. She didn't know shadow but it might as well be that he couldn't handle criticism. Scarlett laughed at his answer about telling people to kill themselves. "Well... now you say that I think you are right. Better not then,' she laughed.

Scarlett felt a bit scolded by this words. She should take better care of herself and she was totally working on it but sometimes it just didn't... work as she planned. A soft sigh left her lips. "Luckily I have Kove and you that look out for me," she smiled happily. Her tail wagged and she gave the warrior a quick nudge.
"I don't really know what trades to go for though," Raziel murmured, deep in thought. Now that Scarlett mentioned it, he did think that perhaps being a counselor would work for him. He was good at understanding others and offer them valuable advice. "Maybe I'll actually go for counselor," the ashen male said with a small smirk. "Hopefully I won't counsel anyone to death." He would do his best to help Bearclaw Valley to become a steady and safe pack, perhaps he might also be a healer, he had quite some knowledge with healing after all.

Aku had been a terrible father, but he had been a useful one, teaching his sons about herbs and healing as well as fighting. Constantine had been a brilliant dad but he had mostly been away, doing outriding missions, leaving Raziel acting as the older brother and the father to Anselm who was mentally, emotionally and physically weak.

His childhood hadn't been good and he would make sure that any new baby lives in Bearclaw would not have to suffer what he had to suffer.
Scarlett sat upright, which was a definite change in her behavior. She was going far better with actually behaving as an alpha. She liked that she could help Raziel out with his path. The white queen looked at Raziel and then chuckled. "As long as you don't talk someone into jumping of a cliff like you mentioned you have the green light for me," Scarlett spoke, joking a bit with him. What Scarlett didn't know yet, since of course, she couldn't see the future was that Raziel might be a good healer too, with his knowledge of plants. Bearclaw would need a healer.

The light female flickered her tail, hoping her heat would soon arrive. The pack could use something new, she was ready too. Maybe when spring had set her body would react to it in a positive way. "You would be an asset to the pack whatever you choose to do. I'm sure of it," Scarlett then mentioned. Even though she and Raziel might not have fit together as a couple she saw him as more that a friend. Like he said. As a brother. He really was family to her now. And maybe family needed to be rewarded. She would need to talk about it with Kove. But she might have an idea as reward when Raziel earned one of his trades.
one last post from you and archive?

He felt Scarlett's red eyes on him and turned to look at her, a smile touching his features and a warm chuckle rumbled out from the Roman when she joked. "I'll do my best," he teased her, but the more he thought about it, he realized that he had practically had the job of counselor thrust upon him since his childhood, since his birth actually. With a brutal father and the adoptive one always away from home, a mother who was too afraid of her brother to fight for her children as they were savagely torn apart by Aku.

As the oldest of the litter, Raziel had to act strong even if he was quivering with fear beneath his pelt. He had to comfort Azrael and Anselm and offer them wise advice with life, he had to protect them. In fact, now that he thought about it, he had grown up a lot faster than other children and definitely not in a good way. No, no one else would have his life, not in Bearclaw Valley, not on his watch, not if he could prevent it.

Raziel had brilliant fighting skills and he had always thought of himself as a warrior, but now he could see another future for himself, one that involved less violence, one that helped others more. It grew clearer and clearer while the bloodstained road grew dimmer, shrouded with grey fog. It was clear then, what route the fates wished for him to take, and he went forward willingly, casting not a single glance at the crimson road that was slowly vanishing.

A large, almost shy grin spread tentatively over the greyscale prince's face at Scarlett's comment. She held so much faith in him, he would make sure not to disappoint her, or Kove in that matter. "I'll do my best to serve you and Kove, Bearclaw Valley, my new family." he vowed before rising onto creamy paws. "Duty calls," he said, pointing his muzzle towards the sun, "I'll see you around." With a salute and a farewell smile, the Roman turned away and trotted towards the forest where he had seen a deer trail.
Yep! I will archive! <3

Scarlett was pleased to see Raziel in such high spirits. She hoped that would stay that way. She liked the gray prince although there was always some gloom of him in a way. Scarlett couldn't describe it. Maybe it had something to do with his past. The light colored female tugged her lips into a smile. She liked to see a less violent Raziel, though feisty enough for him to still guard their only entrance. "I'm glad to see you motivated. I am not sure if you can even disappoint me Raziel. You are such a hard worker," she praised.

The white queen then nodded. "Do your duties," she agreed. Scarlett had her own matters to attend. As a naturalist she had to study the weather. As a gamekeeper she had to check upon the wildlife of the valley and as a caretaker she should check on Adlartok and Néa. Both youngsters she hadn't seen in a while. She watched the other leave and she went her own way in another direction.
