I'm pregnant

At those words, he had turned and fled, deep into the maze of tunnels. Morgana was pregnant. Which meant he was a father. And even worst, she had said those words to Burke, and who knew who else. He, Crescendo, had sired pups, and he already hated them. They tied him to someone who he did not wish to be tied too, they threatened to collapse his perfect world spun of lies and secrets. They could be his undoing, change him from Crescendo, the silver eyed one, the shadow, the Lord of Darkness, to simply Crescendo, The Bastard. A low growl echoed through the cave system, his mind whirling.

How to deal with this? The traitorous fae needed to die, along with his connections to her, that was for sure. Kadence was his, that he knew. No one could have her, he would kill them too. But now, he could do nothing. But he had a plan, a perfect, devious plan. In an hour or so, the pack would think him dead. He would go to borders, and tear open his flesh. He would leave his blood at the borders, along with the blood of another, a coyote perhaps. The pack would think him dead, grieve him, the loyal warrior who had died defending their borders.

Then, when the pups where born, he would strike. He would kill them first, but leave their mother alive till the end. He would kill Meldresi first, the one he had once admired, but now saw as nothing more then an obstacle. He would kill Burke, then Morgana, and take Kadence as his mate. Together, they would rule the pack of shadows, loyal only to the darkness.
