Blue Willow strode from the new sight. They were mostly out in the open now, but there was place to sleep covered if they wished. She had already had an outing with Constantine, and even Eilidh. Now it was time for her and Casmir to have one. She sniffed about, until she found his small rotund milky self. She nudged his side ever so gently, and licked his head. Come along @Casmir. You want to go on adventure with mom?

Then she backed up and waited to see if she had woken him, or if she would need to nudge him again. Her children were heavy sleepers that much was obvious. It made her smile, and giggle truthfully.
an outing with his mother was just the thing the smaller twin needed  -- he had been feeling rather sorry for himself as of late, for Eilidh was faster than he and Constantine stronger. Casmir was only loud; that was his sole strength. yet, when Blue Willow awoke him, he did not holler or shout, but greeted her with a sloppy kiss upon the muzzle. "Yes!" he exulted, tumbling out into the open air.

"Gotter'pee," he announced, strutting off in the direction of a fern, which was not all secluded if one happened to be glancing anywhere in the general vicinity. when he had watered it thoroughly, the boy rejoined his mother and stared at her expectantly, waiting for her to outline this adventure.
Blue chuckled at the sloppy kiss, it even tickled a bit. She nudged her youngest son's head, and simply waited to see what he would do. His excitement was clear, and she imagined this would be a fun outing. She actually, was just about as excited as he.

Blue smiled, and averted her eyes. Okay Casmir. What do you want to do? Do you want to find special things? Do you want to look for bugs? Do you want to play hide and seek? What do you want to do today? Blue was all for her kids, making up their own minds. Choosing what they wanted to do, and she would go along with it, make sure they were safe and happy and having fun.
His mom rattled off a list of potential adventures, and Cas' eyes widened. "Um um," he blurted, trying to think fast. "Bugs! Bugs firs'," he clarified. "Den speshul 'tings. Den hide 'n seek. Den food," he finished definitively, tail wagging as he waited for Blue Willow to agree to all of these things.

She would, obviously.
The look on his face was comical, his eyes wide. His excitement barely concealed. She gave a small chuckle, and ruffled the fur between his ears, with the tip of her muzzle. Blue smiled at his answer, bugs, special things, hide and seek and food. That sounds good to me. Let's get started.

She looked about her for a moment, and a rotten log caught her eye. Tilting her head, she winked at her son, and motioned for him to follow. She lowered herself, to the ground in stalking position. They got to the log and with a paw, she flipped it over. And lay down, watching the bugs move about at eye level. What do you think Cas?
he hurried over, eyes widening, and poked with small paws at the crawling things. "BUGS!" the boy exulted, glancing up delightedly at his mother. with a happy crow, he began to stomp upon the beetles, his muzzle lowering to snap up whatever buggy pieces were readily available.

his hunger momentarily sated, Casmir looked to Blue Willow. "Where we go now?"
Blue watched in strange fascination as he stomped and then ate the bugs. She couldn't imagine doing it, but if it was what he wanted. She didn't think they could hurt him, the only bugs she found troublesome. Were ticks and fleas, and mostly they just were itchy. Though she had noticed some wolves getting sick sometimes from the little black bugs. She shuddered at the thought, and looked down at the youth.

Come along Casmir, lets go to the lower meadow and look for special things. We might find some pretty stones, or some feathers, perhaps even some animal tails? She nudged him gently, licking the soft spot between his ears. The downy fur tickling her nose for a moment.
he pressed himself into her kiss, and then described a tight circle of excitement at her suggestion. "Okay, mama!" Cas hollered, reaching up to lick at her chin. "We go now!?" he exclaimed, running a few feet away and tossing a glance over his shoulder to see if she would follow.
Blue sighed happily, at his little press into her. He was such a loving boy. All her children were though, she liked to think that perhaps it was her own influence maybe?  Blue bounded after him, happy to lend swiftness to her feet. They made it to the meadow and she sniffed around quietly. Okay there maybe feathers, or pretty rocks, or flowers, or bugs. or even animal tails. Shall we search? She gently breathed out, looking about her.
he bounded after her and shoved his nose into the dirt, snuffling deeply and sneezing as a fleck or two of soil tickled the sensitive insides of his nostril. sneezing again, he began to search for feathers. but what he found was a giant yellow flower with black insides. "Mama! Whazzat??" he hooted, circling the thick green stem and reaching out a brave paw to tap the bobbing sunshine of the petals.
Blue kept a weather eye on Casmir, and she had to laugh when he bounded about. She tilted her head to watch him, and chuckled softly when he sneezed. She did speak softly, Bless you Casmir. Blue looked at the flower that stood tall and strong in the sun. It's a SunFlower, aren't they pretty? If you take out the seeds and dry them, they make an interesting little snack. Blue sniffed at it, making sure not to press too tightly on the petals for they could make her have some yellow splotches. She nudged her son gently.
a snack?? he was very dedicated to even the idea of food. "Can we eat dem NOW, Mama?" the boy asked, tapping a little more firmly on the stem. snacks that came out of plants! what sort of sorcery was that? he knew his mother worked often with green things and brown things and some flowers -- maybe other food was around them.

"Mama!" he called, bolting away to touch his nose against moss growing on a small rock. "Kin you eat DIS?" if he could eat it, he certainly would.
Blue chuckled softly and shook her head, No they have to dry out in the sun for a few days. but we can take some home for you to try if you like? Be careful if you touch the petals too much it will dye you yellow.
Sometimes Blue wondered where Casmir put the amount of food he ate. Perhaps he had hollow legs, she didn't keep him from eating. He was a growing boy after all, she just hoped he wouldn't just eat random things willy nilly some plants, even animals were poisonous and could kill him or make him uncomfortable if touched.

Blue trotted over and sniffed at the moss and shook her head no. No you can't, but it is good to soak up blood, and it can also hold water to be squeezed out in times of emergencies. That is moss.
wanna wrap this one up soon? <3

the plants were all boring and not immediately edible. Casmir sighed loudly and flopped down dramatically on his mother's paws. "I'm HANGRY!" he shouted; couldn't she see he was dying of starvation? maybe she had some food somewhere in her fur. he began to poke at her, giggling.
Yes Please <3 and school is done so I should be more active.

Blue chuckled and looked down at him, prone across her paws. Much like a little female diva, though he was definitely all male. She tickled him with her muzzle and then giggled. Well would you like to work on some hunting skills, Cas? SHe wagged her tail then and waited, she could smell a small mouse nearby, it wouldn't be enough to fill his belly, but at least he would have a small snack and not starve.
ill fade it here :3

he nodded. "hunting!" the boy cried, falling into step beside his mother as she began to work on teaching him the finer points of stalking and chasing.
