It was early in the morning. Chaska had only been awake for a few minutes, yet he was wide awake. Today, he was going to try and meet as many of the pack members as possible. He started at the bottom of the mountain, working his way up. So far, no one was in sight. Then he smelt it. The scent of another wolf. He quickened the pace, and made his way towards the source of the scent.

Paxton

Paxton had made himself at home on the mountain, and was ready to start having some fun. He had found a den and had been relaxing ever since he was accepted into the pack. He was not a wolf that was easily motivated but suprisingly Paxton got his lazy butt up and went for a walk. He had come across another wolf, one that seemed to be looking for something. Little did Paxton know, but that wolf was looking for him.

"Hey dude" he said and walked up to the wolf, still trying to force himself to stay awake. He wasn't sure how things worked around here. Like if you needed to go in full submission mode for the alpha, or if a simple bow would do. He didn't know what rank this wolf was, but he did know the stranger was a higher rank than himself, and so Paxton gave a slight bow to the other male. He hoped wolves didn't pay to much attention about what happened around here, because Paxton was sure he was going to get in trouble while he stayed at Silvertip.
Chaska slowed his pace to a stop in front of the wolf he had smelled. The wolf had a light brown fur coat, with a bit of black mixed in. His honey eyes stared at his. Looking him over, it looked like this wolf had been through quite a bit, with scars across his muzzle and covering most of his body. The wolf bowed his head, and Chaska cracked a friendly smile before bowing back, thinking it be an appropriate thing to do.

"There is no need for that, unless you are a low rank. But I guess it doesn't matter much, because I'm new around here, and don't know much of how things run" he said plainly. "I am Chaska, Delta of Silvertip. Are you new here as well?" He was eager to know. If he was, then at least he knew he wasn't alone. If he wasn't though, then maybe this wolf could show him some things or tell him some things about the pack.
