Come and meet Zhavvi :D

Zhav stayed low to the ground as she trotted away from camp. With the slaves and other members watching it was not easy to get out of her father's protective clutches. She wanted to hunt and scout out these new promised lands would offer her. Her elegant and slender body moved through the bushes. As she was certain she escaped without being seen the young lady instantly moved into a more graceful position. Her green eyes scanning the area around her. She was in need of a prey and maybe some company. What the female didn't know was that they didn't speak her tongue in these new lands. How would the poised warrior princess react when she would find out?

Zhavvi reached a openly stretched meadow, something she could feel at home in without much need of adjustment. She was used to the open fields, it was dense forests she was unfamiliar with. Her tail and head were carried high. She was of a Khal's blood after all. She would show the others how much knowledge and warrior skills she had. Her lithe body trotted through the meadow, its high grass tickling her tummy a bit when she moved through it. The cunning girl was used to it.
Thought this would be a great way to introduce Aheshi to the group, lmao. For context, Aheshi believes that Rakharo killed her lover and she's been following the group ever since they left the homeland.

The days seemed endless, and the nights were cold and empty to her. It took little effort to rise and to follow, to hunt from the shadows while the khalas journeyed; they were discreet, the lot of them, but at times foolish. On more than one occasion Aheshi thought she had an opportunity to strike one of the Dotharan down or at the very least, bleed them. But she was playing a waiting game, and it was important to remain secret. To avoid their attention while trailing them, even if it meant leaving behind the motherland. And this place she now found herself was so very different, so alien. Like Zhavvi, Aheshi felt more out of place among the trees than upon the plains. This they had in common.

But this is where the commonalities ended.

It was Zhavvi who caught the lurking woman's attention the most. She was young, and to Aheshi that meant she was weaker than the others. The fact that Zhavvi was the daughter of the man she sought, of the khal who had ruined her life - well, that was a bonus. A beautiful happenstance. So when Zhavvi distanced herself from the group, it was Aheshi's chance to get in closer. To maybe even pay her a visit; rip the smug look off of her face and feed it to her wretched father, for instance.

The meadow was closer to their native grounds, if a bit more verdant. Aheshi knew how to move across the plains like any other Dotharan, and this was no different. She stalked through the reeds as if to scout a herd of noah, and the nearer she got, the bolder she became. This was not a great beast, there were no horns to be wary of, no testosterone-fueled rage; this was only a girl, and Aheshi knew she could make her message known - she only needed to be closer.
Oh dear... Trouble for Zhav then. >D

Zhavvi trolled through the meadow, needed to get adjusted to the different sounds and smells that came off it. The different... feeling she got from it. The fields she knew could be rather dry, yet green. This one was littered with sprouting flowers. She didn't see many of them but one of the slaves often brought her some. Which, Zhavvi thought was a nice gesture. She should get flowers every day being a the most perfect warrior princess. Her tail rose up higher with that thought. Her small frame waded through the high grasses, often only the dark tip of her tail coming above the greens. Eventually she noticed that she was not alone but she couldn't see the one she was sensing. Her hackles raised instantly with the distrust she had.

The daughter of Rakharo was unfamiliar with these lands after all. She wouldn't have a clue was could come out from the high grass. Her eyes matched the color of there surroundings. Zhav glared around her frame and slowly turned towards a hint of a smell. That is when she spotted a bigger boulder up ahead and though it was convenient as a look out. Her small body shot towards the rock as an arrow would from a bow. With ease she leaped onto it. She looked around, still as confident as she was before. She was a warrior and would fight when she needed to. Even when she didn't need to. Her lizard like eyes fell on the other with her higher vantage point. "Kii ui coi wux wiilirka ve," she called out, liking that she stood higher than the other female.
Aheshi followed after the girl for some time, although she did not seem eager to go far. A few tense moments occurred when Zhavvi's gaze drifted across Aheshi's own, but there was no connection - she was likely looking out for her father, who had thus far kept a tight hold upon his daughter. <'His fears for her are valid.'> Aheshi thought, when those moments of apprehension ebbed away. While the intruder worked her way over the land, gradually drifting closer to the girl, Zhavvi's pace did not change too much. She was a quick child, no doubt, and Rakharo likely favored his kin just as much as any other Dotharan; perhaps she would be a fighter. A dull smile slid across Aheshi's features at this thought, feeling a stab of adrenaline while images of Zhavvi's broken body (and her father's reaction) sifted through her mind.

Due to having a low vantage point, and remaining hidden for much of the journey, Aheshi was not aware of anything ahead of them; she was so intently watching Zhavvi that she faltered in her other observations, and Zhavvi had suddenly reached a ledge which now served to turn the tables. Caught by the girl's attention now - wholy and undivided - Aheshi had to fight the urge to bare her fangs, to charge ahead and attack. Instead, she shrank back a step and sat down among the grasses.

"Kii ui coi wux wiilirka ve." Zhavvi's voice rang out, indicating her position to more than just Aheshi now; there wasn't much time.

"Si mi vi shivi, dout opsola ess ve." She lied, quickly, efficiently, but lying was not one of her strong suits.

Aheshi was addled by the sudden turnaround in the situation, and while she wished to get close to this girl and destroy her - to teach her father a lesson - using tricks of the tongue wasn't her way. Aheshi's tail lashed at her hips, naturally curving up, but she was mindful of her posture now. As much as it pained her to appear submissive, she would have to do it for the sake of the lie.

"Jaci vucata wux jahen ti mobi." Aheshi added, trying to hide her disappointment behind some smug words. The Dotharan were proud people, and so Aheshi hoped to play with the girl's pride to conceal her own motives. If she were riled enough, perhaps her lie would be sufficient.
Zhavvi was not pleased to see one of her kin spying on her. Frankly she shouldn't even think of this female as her kin. Zhav had been exploring on her own, hoping to find some natives, and maybe some nice males to socialize with. But, no. She got stuck with some lowlife female that had to spy on her because her father told her so. Zhavvi did not see though like lie. It sounded like her father, telling all others to watch where she would be going. At least the female had the decency to not interrupt her until now. The younger and slender female bared her teeth. The only thing that make the young girl not attack the other was because she lowered herself for Zhavvi. Her lizard green eyes fell upon her and slowly her lip moved back over her teeth. "Dout drekim ui ti aldoer," Zhavvi returned and raised her head to look even more down on the other female.

If only the inexperienced girl knew that that the other female was lying. She would pounded on the other right here and there. Zhavvi stayed on her rock, since it also was a form of safety. She did not trust the other, especially after the female told her she had been watching her. "Svabol ui coi astahii relgr wux?," the female questioned. Her tone was demanding. She wanted to know, and if the female across from her wouldn't tell Zhavvi would find a way to get even more info than her name. Her tail stood upright, not moving. She wanted the other to know that she was definitely higher than this stranger. She was the daughter of the Khal, daughter of Rakharo. It sounded so powerful, Zhavvi loved it.
"Rhelli." Came her reply. Another lie, but this one was easier. Since the death of her beloved, Aheshi had taken on a number of names; the crones knew the truth, but they were distant things now. Aheshi bowed her head, and wondered if she should speak further. Anything that fell from her lips would be a platitude, and surely the girl would see through those. To compliment the child who carried Rakharo's blood was too difficult at this point. It would be preferential to simply end her life now - perhaps parade her pelt before the khal, so that he would understand the pain of loss.

Aheshi's thoughts were her own, and she quelled the desire to boldly reach for the girl and pull her from such great heights. She was antsy though, and still swept closer, her eyes daring to look upon Zhavvi's features, unafraid. "Wux re ti tokeq loaw." This was the first truth to slide from Aheshi's lips. "Dout opsola xihoodic." As he should.
Zhavvi nodded in reply. Naturally, she didn't need to introduce herself. The people of their settlement had to know who she was. The young lady would be offended if the other would ask. Her green eyes squinted suspiciously when the female continued rambling about how unsafe it was for her. If these promised lands were so unsafe then it was foolish of her father to bring their clan here. At least that what Zhavvi's reasoning. "Si shilta troth sio," she returned coldly. She had not really seen this female before but she spoke her tongue. Zhavvi had herself to blame since she didn't focus much on strangers that joined their clan. Her father would keep her from them at first.

Slowly the young female was getting fed up with this Rhelli. does...."">"Wux ultro hefoc vi silit wer idol wux ukris zahae wer huvenic di sia opsola. Jaci janik lae algbo start using wux hefoc ir... usv nomagqe jaci jalyur tiric....," Zhavvi smirked. It was clear that the Khal's daughter was not one to have a chitchat with a stranger. The young female knew how her gender could be used for that type of interaction. She how ever liked to dance along the line of seduction and not being shed of her innocence.
"Si mi thric silit." Came her swift reply. Aheshi did not know how successful her lies had been, and for a moment she wondered. Perhaps this girl was toying with her? Pushing buttons in an attempt to outmatch her wits. But Zhavvi was young, she was inexperienced. The daughter of a khal, but that did not immediately mean anything. Only that the blood of a brutal man flowed within her veins; that same blood which Aheshi wished so eagerly to spill.

She smiled - a tight-lipped expression that betrayed a certain level of impatience - and turned her attention away from the girl. At least, she looked away; the rest of her was still paying rapt attention. "Shar si mi davra ekess jacion, lae tikil Dothar ui davra ekess asta Khal." As she spoke, Aheshi traced a spiral in to the dirt with one of her paws, showing off a bit of her boredom.

At the last moment, she dragged the heel of her paw across the figure and obscured it back to nothing, and then looked up to Zhavvi. "Tir wux tuor ekess onquothat?"
Zhav wasn't really impressed by the lady in front of her and how she claimed she was not a slave. Zhavvi could see that perfectly since she wasn't a coyote but she was still behaving like one. Something didn't add up and the way she loyally followed her father was also suspicious. Because if she did how come Zhavvi didn't even know her. The younger girl was starting to distrust the other even less. Especially when her loyalty was exclaimed by not looking into her eyes but looking away. "Kii tira wux ti vorq sari sia saurivic svadrav epres dout lyal ekess sia opsola," Zhavvi returned. She bared her teeth again.

"Thric. Ti mrith wux," The daughter of the Khal returned. She could howl for her father, and then rat this one out that something wasn't adding up. But then again, she was outside of Camp which he would probably notice first. Damn. But then Zhavvi decided that she didn't need the help of her father. She was a warrior princess and she could handle this commoner herself. "Gethrisj ekik di sia idol,' Zhavvi then huffed.
Did someone ask for a thread rescue?
Skipping Aheshi and narrating an exit for her since she went innactive ;)

The scent of his daughter had taken Rakharo too far away from the group this time. He still didn't like his daughter to be so restless, even when he knew she had gotten that from him. It was risky for such a frail and young girl to be out alone like this, and when the father finally got his daughter under sight, his fears became real. Zhavvi was talking to some stranger, and instantly his hackles raised and his feet took him running at full speed to his daughter.

Papa bear is in da house.

Barks of warning announced his entrance, but just before he could reach the couple, the stranger took flight, and agile as she was she was out of reach inj no time. Rakharo skidded to a halt, just a few meters past his daughter, and with a chug he dismissed his attention towards the stranger to turn around and examinate his daughter's condition.

"Who the hell was that?" was all papa bear said, in a demanding, and slightly angered tone.
YAY! Also I am going to have Zhavvi still be her 'innocent' self xD (She already changed so much compared to this beginning! :D)

Zhavvi was a bit startled when the male came bursting out from behind her. She ought to be more careful with what was around her. She should start to train more with her senses. She should find someone to train her in general. The young girl watched the other take flight and hated her more for it.

"She was lying, Daddy. I could tell she was untrue. She said she was one of your most loyal followers but I didn't know her so something was off for sure," she informed him. She felt as if she found out about the intruder. So her chest was more puffed out and held her head high.
Glad that the stranger hadn't touched his daughter, Rakharo licked Zhavvi's forehead as he tried to calm down himself. The girl had done nothing wrong, if you ignored the fact that she had left the group without permission. It had been dangerous, but once again, Rakharo had never considered the possibility of someone besides Azzaro and Raezho to be following them. He needed to be more careful from that day on, and he would reinforce his daughter's guard.

"Come Zhavvi... You need to stay as close to the group as you can. You were lucky I was around." the Khal said as he pushed his daughter the way he'd come from, towards the Khalas and to safety. His daughter was his treasure, and he still saw her as the pup who cried under her mother's dead body. So fragile. So lucky.
You can post and archive it! :D

Zhavvi cuddled into her dad. "Yes. Luckily,' she agreed, although silently she didn't. Zhavvi was keen on taking care of herself but with her dad she often played the little princess. She didn't have the courage yet to stand up to him. She would need to train first and get better. The slender girl walked towards their home. To the Khalas. Her plan to explore hadn't worked. Damn.

Zhavvi calmly walked with her father to not create any suspicion. But Zhavvi was far from being innocent at all. She liked to keep that from her dad until she was better at being the warrior princess she wanted to be.
In foreign lands, a father needed to be more attentive to his daughter's actions, even more when your daughter was an overactive rogue. Zhavvi had something on her that made Rakharo feel uneasy, a fire inside them, probably lit up by his own overprotectiveness that would come back to him one day. But he often decided to ignore it. It was easier pretending you have an angel for daughter than dealing with her demons yourself.

Rakharo rushed his pace as he entered the forest on the verge of the meadow. Forests were like mazes to a Dotharan, it made anyone an easy target with so many possible hiding spots around you. He felt watched. He wanted to get back to the safety of the Khalas so that he could leave his daughter under someone else's watch for a moment.
