All welcome

Scarlett trotted through the valley that contained her home. She couldn't hide in her secluded valley for ever because it seemed that even loners and possible new members couldn't find her pack. This was bad since it was slowly depleting of members and she was worried that soon there wouldn't be anyone in Bearclaw Valley except for her, Kove, Adlartok and Raziel. The light female hoped her heat would arrive soon. With that they could get some of the member count up, plus she would finally have her family to care for she so badly wanted ever since was little herself. Being an alpha wasn't a passion but she was not going to deny she liked the high rank. She was more of a mother than a dominant alpha.

Her light colored fur shone under the sun that arrived with spring. She moved through the meadow and stopped for a quick drink by a stream. Maybe she could recruit some lone wolves or approach Koda and Kesuk again. She didn't dare to ask Crëyr since she didn't want to take her friend away from NB. A soft sigh left her lips. She should travel Teekon just like she did when she was at the glacier. That was how she made many friends. Yes that is what she would do. Make friends.
Boredom was something Arion met daily, and it frustrated him to no end to have nothing to do. Sure, hunting was alright, it helped take his mind off things, but what else could he do? There were no wars to fight, no strategies to make, no wolves to have as a potential sparring partner. All he could do was wander through Nova Peak without anything that could take his mind off his boredom. Thankfully he had a secret stash of poppy seeds which helped calm his mind and stopped it from racing too quickly. But they ran out too quickly. And soon, the stallion would find himself needing to find more of the flowers and in turn, get their seeds.

So Arion followed his wandering instincts and left the Peak, for a small adventure. He let his paws lead him to where he needed to be, which were where the poppy seeds were though he had no idea where they were. The ones he currently had were in the packlands. But Hermes the god of traveling led him to the right place, a meadow and Arion quickly found the seeds and chewed a few, calming his racing brain immediately. Keen honey golden eyes found a creek and trotted casually towards the water where he lapped up some of the clear liquid.

He knew there was a stranger there, a female with red eyes but did not bother to speak. He was not good around other wolves after all.
Scarlett looked up from drinking when she caught some movement from the corner of her eye. A brown male was standing at a nice distance way from her. Scarlett's red eyes studied him for a moment. He didn't seem to come closer so Scarlett decided to quench her thirst some more. The light hearted female didn't think of the fact that the male could attack while she was undefended. She looked up again a moment later when the male was still there. Scarlett trotted up to him then. Her tail high but friendly as she got closer.

Her tail wagged and her red eyes looked surprisingly kind. "Hello," she greeted curiously. Her nose sniffing. She felt disappointed when she realized he smelled of a pack. A grunt left her lips. She hoped there might be a loner that wanted to join her pack but she got a wolf from another pack. Damn.
Out of the corner of his eye, Arion spotted the light furred female moving closer to him, her tail in a tall but friendly position, telling him she was not a threat but someone who wanted to talk. The Greek kept on his defensive though, wary of the stranger, a life made mostly of wandering as a loner made him more suspicious of others and distrustful of their intentions. The stallion continued drinking from the stream, lapping at the cool clear water and satisfying his thirst. The wolf spoke then, greeting him with the typical 'Hello'.

The Acheron lifted his head from the stream then, straightening himself and raising an eyebrow at her when she grunted. "Not excited to see me, I presume? I suppose I don't match whatever criteria of wolf you're looking for," Arion drawled, tilting his head ever so slightly. He was not surprised to see her with red eyes, he had met quite a few Albinos in his loner life, he had a brother who was an Albino too so he greeted her with concealed curiosity and boredom rather than disgust.

Dipping his head, Arion picked up a few poppy seeds from the ground and after resuming his previous standing position, he chewed them thoughtfully and swallowed, his golden eyes alighting on Scarlett once more.
Scarlett realized that this wolf was quite the observer or her expression had just been so... expressive. The red eyed female smiled kindly. "You are are mere stranger. Excited is not the word I would use no," he admitted but stayed kind. "You smell of a pack and it is loners I seek," Scarlett revealed. Her pale body shone in the daylight, a bit wetted because of the recent rain. "But no matter. I like to be social so I don't mind chatting with you," she then barked more genuinely.

If she wouldn't find any loners she hoped that her plan be could be executed soon. Once she would go into heat their pack numbers should go up soon enough. A quick smile appeared on her lips. Her red eyed turned to him. She was unfamiliar with the scent that came from him. "Which pack are you from?"
It was amusing to the man when the Albino smiled in a kind manner, he couldn't quite describe what made him amused, but it was there, and the white furred female had it. When she said that he smelled of a pack and she was seeking loners, he quickly analyzed this piece of information. She was from a pack, and if she was seeking loners, it meant she was probably recruiting which in turn led to the theory that she was either an outrider or a leader in that pack seeking for more members. Truthfully, to him, she did not seem like the type to lead the pack which would tell him she was an outrider, but then, there were all kinds of wolves in this wild and jumping to conclusions would help nothing.

So he simply took on a bored demeanor and gazed at her with honey golden eyes when she asked a question on what pack he was from. Like hell he'll tell a complete stranger where he was from. "You're an outrider, or a leader, seeking for potential new recruits for your pack," he stated with a certain kind of confidence that only those who believed themselves right had. "Whats your name? And what pack are you from?"
Scarlett is not amused lately. xD

Scarlett's ears fell back at the unpleasant male across from her. Her tail flickered but she did not let it show. She disliked it when wolves underestimated her or when they weren't polite enough to even respond to a friendly question then Scarlett didn't want anything to do with them. Her red eyes stayed on him, looking from under her lashes. Her ears stayed back. "If you are so immature to not even tell me about yourself then I don't think I feel the need to even converse with you," Scarlett spoke causally.

She got on her fours and her tail raised in the air. "I'm Scarlett and I am the alpha of Bearclaw Valley." She wished the male all the luck in the world when trying to find the location of her pack. Bearclaw Valley was so difficult to find that she had to go look for members herself. It was as much a blessing as a curse. Scarlett got up and walked into the other direction of where her home was. She heard rumors about Duskfire Glacier being gone, or well, not the glacier but the wolf pack. She missed the glacier.
Well, realistically Arion won't bother her so maybe end with one more post from you? Or do you want to get to ten posts first? Also, apologies for Arion's rudeness. :P

"Don't take it so personally, lady." Arion shrugged, "I don't tell mere strangers about myself, thats a seriously illogical thing to do." It had never occurred to him to tell anyone personal details about himself, too risky and he had far too much enemies, wolves he'd pissed off. He didn't need one of these wolves to have big mouths and rat about his locations to them. "Its not immature. Its mature. I think an adult like yourself should know the difference." He offered her a sardonic smirk then, "I don't feel the need either, which I'm thankful for."

"You might be the alpha of this Bearclaw Valley, but you ain't the alpha here. So I suggest you lower that tail before some loners decide to attack you. Some of us like some fresh albino meat, us cannibals." Arion called out to her in his deep baritone before continuing to lap at the fresh water. Leave some albino Alpha to ruin his perfectly fine afternoon. Hopefully she wouldn't turn back to answer his insults because she would receive much more than what he'd currently thrown at her.
I want to get it to 10 posts!! But Arion said something interesting! Hahah Murderous Scar :P

For Scarlett it was difficult not to take it personally because of her past. She was always bullied and treated like she was less than anyone else. So when the male talked her down and with her new Alpha status Scarlett wouldn't let anyone talk to her like that. Her red eyed stayed on the male as he spoke. "Not where you might come from but the packs in this valley are all friendly with one another and being polite keeps those bonds well," Scarlett returned. It seemed that this one wasn't in a pack for very long he seemed more to think like al oner than a pack wolf.

Scarlett's whole world seemed to stop spinning when the male talked about being a cannibal. Néa... Her daughter... She was taking by a cannibalistic pack in the north. Instantly Scarlett's hackles raised. She wanted to be fearful but her mother instinct wanted to rip this wolf to shreds. Not that she would be any better than this Cannibal if she did. The red eyed female slowly lowered her hackles. She had to do this the smart way, just like she fooled everyone else. Be kind. With lessons from her mate she could be a better fighter and spy and then she would strike. Now Néa was gone again and she feared the worst. She lowered her tail and then smiled at him all too sweetly. His scent was registered in her brain and she would return with a better skill set. "But maybe your pack isn't from this valley. Could be since I don't know the pack you scent of. In this valley we treat the other packs with respect, Mr. Cannibal."
Sorry, Arion's just an ass. Last post from me. :)

"I sincerely doubt it," Arion laughed. "I bet you haven't actually talked to all the leaders of the packs in this valley face to face have you? Don't lie." If she said she did, he knew she was lying. It was the instinct in him that told him so, this time it wasn't any kind of logic. But his instinct was always right, and this time, he knew, it would be right too. Even though he had no guarantee it was right. He thanked all the gods of Greece when he turned away, he was annoyed right now, and if he was even more annoyed, he would kill.

As he gulped down a mouthful of water, the voice of this Scarlett found its way to his ears once more and he scowled irritably inside, outside a stoic mask was set firmly in place. "For god's sake woman!" Arion sneered, straightening to his full height, his usually warm golden eyes were now cold and fierce, more like solid gold than melting gold. "Can't you learn to leave someone alone? Or are you always so mentally deranged?"

Arion did not care she had just called him a cannibal, he wasn't one and that was all that mattered to him. "Well things have just changed, Miss Scarlett. Because right now I am yelling at you in the most disrespectful manner that surely defies all the rules of respect." He offered her a sardonic smile. "Be glad I'm not going to attack you now, fighting takes too much physical exertion and you're just a petty thing for me to waste my valuable energy on."

Arion turned and began to move away from Scarlett, towards the direction of the coast, although he did not know it. Then he stopped and turned around, "Your smile is sickly by the way, you should try to improve your skills. Its Mr Jayfeather not cannibal. I ain't no cannibal, although there's a pack by the north of the coast that is. Captures all the animals that come near their land, even wolves and then they slowly eat them." He grinned like a madman then and with a mocking salute, departed.
Not to worry <3

Scarlett flickered her tail and rose her nose in the air. "There is only one other pack in this valley and you are clearly not one of them," she pointed out with a calm shrug. Scarlett's hackles raised one more when he yelled at her. All the memories of her past seemed to return. She knew damn well when someone wanted to be left alone. The light queen didn't look really impressed only because she wanted him to think that. She wanted to be left alone first. But fine now she would get the blame.

"You did. And I won't forget that," she spoke quietly. "If you would you would have died doing so." Scarlett was certain of it. She would howl for her pack and her white knight would save her. She didn't mind to be saved and if she happened to die because of his attack she was sure Kove would turn into a deranged man to hunt down her killer. Him talking about her sickly smile made her smile sweetly even more. Only to pester him. Scarlett was slowly changing her nature. Ever since she left Duskfire she didn't have the glacier to remember her to be good. She was an alpha now and sometimes they needed to assert dominance. She didn't even say goodbye as the male left. She stood where she was standing, claiming this spot as hers.
