Slowly but surely Bambi felt her strength returning. The months she’d spent as a lone wolf had left her with an empty stomach and a weakened body. Her mind, however, was stronger than ever before. The ambitious female, grateful to have found sanctuary within a flourishing pack, was eager to leave a lasting impression. She felt both delighted and honored to have been accepted into Neverwinter Forest, but she would not take her residence there for granted. Bambi knew a good opportunity when one was presented to her, and she had no trouble seeing the promise the young pack held. All of her energy and effort would be devoted to strengthening the pack. Such was how she was raised. It was what Bambi felt, and it was the way of the wolf.

Sunset found the pale-furred Omega near the outskirts of the forest. The trees thinned somewhat there, allowing a bit more light to reach the woods’ floor. There was little to be seen, however, since the day had nearly expired and the sunlight diminished more with each minute that passed. Long limbs carried Bambi easily along Neverwinter’s borders. Her gait was slow, yet decisive and confident. She aimed to familiarize herself with the borders so that reinforcing them would become easier to her sooner rather than later. Ears stood tall and erect atop her skull while mint-green eyes scoured the encroaching shadows for any sign of other creatures, wolf or not. If she was to be spotted by an outsider, her thoughts were made very clear by her posture; these pack lands were not to be toiled with or encroached upon.
